Good location, not right next to any one thing but basically within 20 min walk of almost all the major attractions. Room is nice. Gym is a little basic but to be expected. The breakfast was excellent though and service there was very good.

The location of this hotel is amazing for people whose purpose in the city is luxury shopping. Overall a good experience. The staff were very welcoming and we were taken to our suite by a hostess. Breakfast is very average and I wouldn’t say that the decor of the suite or the service was as luxurious when compared to other 5* hotels in Paris for eg the Four seasons or Plaza athanee- I definitely think a renovation is needed and don’t expect complete pampering and 5* luxury here but overall it was good. I would definitely return to stay here again. The location is unbeatable. Stayed here in May 2024 for my honeymoon but writing this review a year later as I returned to Paris for my anniversary and stayed elsewhere and only then did I truly appreciate the location of this hotel when compared to others.

Google
Stayed four nights and service, amenities and location were amazing!! From arrival to departure, every detail was attended to. Reception was so kind and helpful - we were even able to have our champagne chilled overnight for an event and were quite grateful. Rooms were clean and quiet. The location was perfect and we were able to enjoy morning runs in the gardens on both sides of the hotel. Overall, we loved our stay and would love to be back!

Google
Incredible room, incredible service and incredible food (buy the breakfast plan, you won’t be disappointed), but like any real estate, it’s about location, location, location. It’s a two minute walk to Champs Elysees and everything from the Arch de Triomphe to the Louvre is easily reachable on foot, which includes loads of great museums, shopping and restaurants. It isn’t inexpensive, but it’s totally worth it. I’ve stayed there twice and if I ever go back to Paris, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

My husband and I stay ed at the Sofitel Faubourg in early July 2025. You cannot beat the location, with Hermes and other luxury shops on the corner, and across the street from the Rosewood Hotel, which has the very best cocktail bar in Paris. The Sofitel is a great option for a 5 star hotel in the luxury neighborhood of Paris, if you do not want to spend $2,000+ a night. We had a collection suite, which was the perfect size for 2 adults and 3-4 luggage. Breakfast was very good, and the omelets were the best. Sit in the garden and enjoy the plants with your morning coffee. The hotel could use a lobby renovation compared to other Sofitel, however, this does not matter so much, as long as the rooms are newer. The collection suite (more of a junior suite and not a one bedroom suite) had dual sinks, 2-3 small closets, 2 TVs, and a small couch.

Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is a luxurious and stylish hotel in a prime location—just steps from the Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde, and top designer boutiques. Despite its central setting, the hotel feels peaceful and refined, offering the perfect balance between city energy and quiet comfort.||||From check-in to check-out, the service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional. A special thank you to Lyla from the Guest Service Office—her thoughtful support, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay especially memorable. She truly elevated our experience.||||Overall, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg exceeded our expectations. With its outstanding location, refined design, and world-class service, it’s the ideal choice for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Paris in comfort and style. We will definitely return.

Google
we enjoyed our stay at the hotel as it was really well located. All the staff was very nice. I have some comments about the price (really expensive compared to the services proposed: small room for 3, no pool, small dining room more like a cafeteria, toilets not flushing properly, no boiling device in the room.

Google
The staff are very attentive and the food was delicious. Location is top notch, not sure you could get a better location for the price! Everyone we talked to at the concierge desk went above and beyond. The doormen always got us a cab even during the strike they went way beyond expectations. The housekeeping staff were very sweet and even collected items we left behind and have arranged for return to us. Very thankful.

Yelp
Booked this hotel through Costco travel and was very happy with the selection. It was centrally located. The hotel was located about .7 miles from the Louvre and the Opera House. It was a quick 3 minute walk to Concorde metro station and one Metro stop from Invalides station. This gave access is easy access to the Metro and RER C rail. The RER C was important because we wanted to see the Palace of Versailles. The staff and facilities was great. They were friendly, spoke English, and answered all our questions. The bathrooms were spacious, clean and good water pressure. My family particularly loved the library that had chess and checkers to play on. Good way to keep the kids entertained while we make plans for the day. The morning buffet was great with tons of selections including a wide selection of pastries, yogurts, juices and meats. The even had a well made congee. It was my wife's favorite as it was both savory and spicy. If you like high end shopping then nothing could be better. Every major chain was represented in the neighborhood. The security was a whole other level. Sharing the street with the embassy meant arm guards at either end of the street and stationed guards that seem to take their breaks in the hotel. Patrols of armed guards could be seen walking the area. My only complaint was the lack of local food shops / restaurants. The food that was in walking distance was lacking in both diversity and quality. However, this can be fixed by hoping on the metro. Overall, the hotel was a great base of operations for exploring Paris and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
This was my second time staying in this particular Sofitel and it was just as good as the first. Everything is lovely, from the time you check in to when you check out. The room I got this time was spacious - even had a mini balcony - and a great size bathroom with a big opening door to the outside. I found everything to be clean, elegant and comfortable. It's always a welcoming vibe here. It was just before Christmas season and one morning when we left for the day, the flowers in the lobby were as stunning and colourful as always, and by the time we got back in the early evening, everything was decorated so beautifully and festively for Christmas. It had such a cozy feel. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts at the buffet downstairs is so delicious, if not a teeny bit expensive. Overall, I'd recommend this location to anyone. It's right near Place du Concorde and Le Louvre and easy to get around from here. It will always be my go-to hotel in Paris.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time here at this location. It's centered in the middle of all the luxury designer shops. Secured/safe location, with it being next to the Embassy there are guards all around. I felt extremely safe here. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a larger room. From the Front Desk, Room Service, Bells Man, Concierge, Housekeeping service was all top notched and exceptional. The Concierge was beyond helpful and insightful on the hot spots in Paris and where to go on each given day. Including booking reservations at the last minute. I was able to get a pedicure at the first "Chanel Spa" in the world when it first open up. The Complimentary items (face soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) included all products from Hermes! :-) With this being a 5 star hotel this location has the most reasonable prices when compared to Park Hyatt or George V.

Yelp
Magical Experience!!! It was the first time for my family to go to Paris and stay at the beautiful Sofitel hotel. It is a gorgeous hotel in a great location. We had a wonderful time, and the staff were fantastic. They went above and behind their duty to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. We are glad that we celebrated our birthdays at Sofitel with their excellent staff, especially in the breakfast room. Thank you so much for excellent service and we promise to go back to our second home!

Yelp
This is closer to motel quality than luxury hotel. Flabbergasted it goes for the prices on their website. Only benefit is the location. Rooms are tiny, have vents leading to open undrapeable windows (ie, there's no such thing as a dark room). Room was not ready 2.5 hrs past check-in time. Loud noises from kids and general movement nearby (while not the kids fault, shows poor noise insulation). Would not book this hotel again. Addendum: After experiencing the above, it only got worse. The hotel ruined my trip completely with me being forced to be in the room most of each day and night with a horrible rash, similar to a poison ivy rash, with their twice daily in room deodorizer sprays causing my face to swell and be incredibly painful and itchy for a week and a half. It didn't click until our second day when I found the deodorizer bottle along with the housekeeper's cell phone (which she plugged into our room's outlet to charge and I turned in to the front desk).

Yelp
Obviously one can't expect Mandarin Oriental-level service, but everyone was polite and friendly. It's nice and quiet in all the rooms, because the Rue Boissy d'Anglais is not open to through traffic (taxis can enter to drop off passengers at the hotel). The rooms not facing the street are arranged around an inner courtyard which serves as a sort of patio for the hotel's dining area. Decor in the older rooms & suites is pretty traditional: damask wallcoverings, generic hotel furnishings. The pricier Didier Gomez-designed suites are much more contemporary in design (think urban loft type furnishings). I would recommend staying in a junior suite or better; the regular rooms would be a little too cramped for my taste - plus, you don't get the Hermès toiletries in the regular rooms! Beds have high quality linens and are quite comfortable; I'm a picky sleeper because I've always had chronic back problems. There is high-speed internet, but remember to bring travel adapters if necessary; the hotel has some, but they sometimes don't have enough to go around. In-room dining and the hotel restaurant are reliably good, though not mind-blowing. Lovely breakfast offering which can sometimes get busy, so if you don't like to wait, you may want to book the night before. Room service only runs until 11pm-ish, IIRC. Really, though, the real beauty of this particular hotel is the killer, killer location. 1 block to the Place de la Concorde & the Ave. des Champs-Élysées, 2-3 blocks to Rue Cambon and literally steps away from the HERMÈS mothership & the rest of rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré

Yelp
We enjoyed our time here a couple of weeks ago. Lovely hotel within walking distance of many activities and attractions. The room was very nice, clean and quite comfortable. I enjoyed the balcony and hearing the sounds of Paris outside of my window. One night, we heard live music at one of the restaurants below, so we made sure to stop in there for dinner. The breakfast here was fantastic. Everything you could want and then more! I was a fan of the juice bar with all the different concoctions. I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Yelp
This is my favorite hotel in Paris. Great for American travelers since it is next to the US Embassy. Amazing service! My fiancé got sick and they sent us a doctor within an hour. The concierge, Thomas, was so helpful, efficient and kind. He gave us recommendations that's did not disappoint. They amenities are beautiful with intricate detail and Hermès toiletries! Best hotel!

Yelp
We loved this hotel. The only bad part was having to leave when our stay was over. I hope to return, soon. The location is great as its a short walk to a lot of the touristy things one might want to do. We never had to take the metro or cars places as we chose to walk. The room was nice and probably somewhat spacious by Paris standards. Most importantly, it was comfortable and well-appointed. with its own private terrace, which was pretty fantastic. The service was impeccable, with every staff member having been friendly, attentive and helpful from making the reservation to checkout. As far as the food, I did take advantage of the 24 hour room service, though I wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast which was very pricey and not really all that great.

Yelp
When I got to this hotel, I had $105 folded up inside of my passport. My passport was in a pocket inside of my backpack. My backpack was in my room. A couple of days later, the $105 was missing. I didn't lose it, move it, or touch it. I don't believe in ghosts or unexplained mysteries, so the only logical explanation is that someone working at the hotel went into my bag and took the money. When I complained to the front desk, and then guest services, and then the general manager, their only solution was for me to go to the police station and file a police report. Because "they can carry out an investigation and maybe we can find out what happened." Look. This is what happened. Someone who had access to my room went looking for cash and found it. It's not that hard to figure out. Unfortunately, this hotel does not understand the value of good customer service. I asked if they could credit me for the money that was stolen during my time there, and they repeatedly refused. "There's no proof." I agree that there is no proof but that's hardly the point. Besides, if I was going to try to con the hotel it'd be for more than $105. I spent over $3,000 at the Sofitel while I was there. The stolen money was a tiny amount of what I spent. It would have been a smart gesture and one that would have kept me - a frequent business traveller - as someone who would come back and continue to be a customer of theirs. Now I won't, ever again. And I'll tell everyone I know to stay with other hotel chains. I'm not really sure if my social and real world impact will be worth more than $105 to them, but it was painfully obvious that their stance wasn't calculated, it was just stubborn. Someone stole money from my personal belongings - not to mention that my passport was probably compromised - and the supposedly five star hotel in which this happened couldn't be bothered to try to make up for it. Don't stay here.

Yelp
I had the same experience as my husband Mike A. but since I'm also entitled to my own review, I have to add my two cents on the terrible customer experience at this "5 star hotel". We had one hundred dollar bill and one five dollar bill, both folded up and tucked into my husband's passport, stolen from our room. The day manager Julie was nice but incredibly unhelpful, saying that there's no proof that it was stolen and that there's nothing they can do except escort us to the police station to fill out a deposition. Because that's what we want to be doing on our vacation in Paris, spending hours at a police station. She also apparently took this to the General Manager of the hotel and that person also agreed that the hotel should do absolutely NOTHING - not a complimentary meal, drinks - nothing for the inconvenience. We spent an entire week there and thousands of dollars, but they won't offer us a single complimentary service for a crime that happened at this hotel, under their management. For what it's worth, I did some research on other travelers that had money stolen from their rooms and I couldn't find a single example where the hotel does NOTHING like this Sofitel. Other hotels (even non-luxury hotels) offered at least a free meal and some even comped a room. Nope, not the Sofitel, because they want to send a message to us that they don't value us as customers, not even a little. This was an unfortunate incident that was an opportunity for the hotel to demonstrate good customer service, and this Sofitel FAILED 100%. Shame on you Sofitel Le Faubourg, shame on you. Not only should you write a book on how NOT to treat customers, but you've officially lost our business.

Yelp
We absolutely loved the Sofitel Faubourg. They treated us like royalty the entire time we were there. The rooms are clean and cozy. The restaurant and bar are classy and have great service and food. I love staying near Hermes and Chanel! I told my husband we must stay in this hotel when we go to Paris and we would like to try other Sofitels.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in a nice location. I was able to walk to my favorite restaurants and shopping spots. Also took advantage of the 24 hour room service when I had a long day and came back late in the night. Impeccable service in that regard. I've stayed here twice now and would've given them 5 stars if not for a few issues. The first time, they had me wait over 2 hours for my room after I checked-in and basically forgot about me. They made up for it by upgrading me the next time I came. However, the next time I came, I had requested help from the concierge service and they messed up my dinner reservation. They messaged me to tell me my reservation was confirmed but when I showed up to the restaurant, my name wasn't in the reservation book. I'm not sure if the hotel didn't make it at all or if they accidentally made it at a bar of the same name. Not sure how that's possible because I gave them the correct address and phone number, but if they weren't paying attention to detail, I can see how that might've happened. Pretty disappointing and I expected more from a hotel of this caliber. I also asked for advice on booking trains and the advice they gave me was not really the best advice. I ended up booking the trains myself and finding a more efficient route than the one they advised. I would recommend a stay here however, I do not recommend you rely on them for non-hotel related affairs.

Yelp
We went to this hotel in the spring of 2017. Beautiful small hotel in a wonderful neighborhood of Paris. Walking distance from the Louvre, in the middle of the St Honoré high end shopping street, and a perfect starting point for many walks in this wonderful city. A five minute walk from the Place de la Concorde, the Jardin des Tuileries, and so many more gems at arms' length of this pretty hotel. I was also thrilled to find the most exquisite chocolate shops in paris all within 5-10 minute walks. The lobby and theme of the hotel centers around fashion and makes for very interesting and rich decor. The staff was pleasant, particularly the team of concierges who were always ready with recommendations and reservations to restaurants, parks and museum visits. Efficient and very friendly. Our only negative experience was with the host of the breakfast restaurant who was rude and pushy the one time we opted for breakfast at the hotel. We never went again in the week we spent at the hotel- the breakfast buffet was also not worth its cost. Disappointing on both counts. The room we had (a suite with a connecting room) was beautiful, the housekeeping service friendly and timely, and the furnishings luxurious and comfortable. The view onto the courtyard was nothing to write home about. The coffee machine a nice plus, I had to make sure to request the daily complimentary bottles of Evian so that we weren't charged an arm and a leg for a glass bottle- an unnecessary annoyance. The frustrating thing about the room was that there was absolutely no care taken to providing any space for personal toiletries. There is no dresser inside the room, and absolutely no space around the sink in the bathroom. I had to put my creams, makeup and perfume/deo on the already crowded bedside table and they kept falling off. There are not enough hooks in the bathroom either, so our clothes/towels had to be on the floor while we were using the shower. The bathroom upkeep by the cleaning staff was also not 100% impeccable every time. The closet space in the suite was tiny. A lot more space was allocated to storage in the connecting room that my son was using. The road which the hotel is on is in between the American embassy on one end and the Élysée palace on the other (behind the hotel). So the road is closed to traffic except for cars going to the hotel. Walking in and out is a little unnerving with embassy guards armed to the teeth eyeing you every time you pass by. We eventually got used to that, though. All in all a nice experience that could have been a five star if a few nagging details hadn't interfered with a perfect experience.

Yelp
Stayed here for my honeymoon. By far, THE BEST hotel I've ever stayed in. Thank you Costco for helping us book! PROS: -Ambiance - BEAUTIFUL hotel! The lobby is decorated with fresh flowers and the decor was very modern and up to date. Impressive - Location, it is central to mostly everything, nearest metro is about a 10 min walk away, near all the high end retailers, 5 min walk from L'église de la Madeleine and Fontaine des Fleuves which had the ferris wheel up, 20 min walk from the Louve, 30 min walk to Eiffel Tower. The nearest FranPrix is 5 minutes away walking. So yeah, location is amazing. - Right next to the US Embassy, so there are armed guards on the street of this hotel, which is a pro to me because I felt very safe. TIP: do not ask the guards if you can have a picture with them, they will yell at you. learned the hard way. - Service was amazing. When we checked in the front desk person actually gave us a tour from the lobby to the restaurant to the bar to the elevator to the room. Never had that before and it was a very nice gesture of her. House keeping was spot on, the hotel even left us fruits and water every night we were there. - Elegant rooms + amenities. Small but the beds were huge and comfy. Great lightening. Toiletries are from Hermes. - Breakfast. If you have the option to get complimentary breakfast, you should take it. It's a breakfast buffet with an assortment of pastries, cheeses, breads, etc. They also had smoked salmon, cured meats, cheese, cereal, eggs, sausage, bacon. Although it is the same food offerings everyday, It did not disappoint, the food was good. We were told that the chef, Yannick Allénothe best and famous, but sadly we could not get reservations for dinner, so make a reservation as soon as you can if you want to try his food. - Free access to fitness center. - Free Wifi CONS: -No pool, no sauna. -Expensive, but I have to add you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this hotel and worth every penny.

Yelp
awesome place! safe, secure...easy access to everything, Paris. Love the decor, clean well kept...great service, amazing products in room for toiletries! Well priced for such a fantastic location, and staff very friendly, very helpful. Definitely will return.

Yelp
I just came off of a 10 hr plane ride to find out that my room, which was supposed to be ready by 1pm, was delayed by 2 hrs. I asked the concierge to accommodate me by asking the maids to at least hurry or find me a new room, but they were very unhelpful. Do not recommend staying here if you want to settle in right away! However the rooms are very beautiful and the hotel is in a great shopping hotspot

Yelp
Wonderful location in the heart of Paris. Near the best shopping, restaurants and beautiful attractions. Great place to stay during Le Tour finale. Concierge service outstanding in it's ability to get you IN to exclusive places & events. Had an amazing balcony overlooking Place de la Concorde and Champs d'elysee.

Yelp
Le Sofitel le Faubourg was the absolute perfect choice for our family's (adult children) stay in Paris. We looked at a few luxury American hotels, but decided when in Paris.... It was certainly centrally located which made touring the city a breeze. We actually walked from from the hotel to Notre Dame then to the Eiffel Tower, then to L' Arc de Triomphe and then back to the hotel. It was a very nice day, leisurely strolling the streets of Paris and along the Seine from one attraction to the next. We were close to a few main shopping centers and excellent restaurants. The rooms were very nice, ample and well designed. The food at the hotel was brilliant, just as one would expect in Paris. We had breakfast at the hotel, a grand assortment of hot and cold dishes - pastries, meats, cheeses, and eggs - and did I say pastries? Christmas Eve dinner at the STAY was "formidable", flavors beautifully blended to compliment, not over power. Equal attention was given to the presentation and the balance of textures. But still the most impressive thing about the hotel was the excellent customer service we received, not just efficiency, but the ability to make us feel at home and valued guests. We are not an easy bunch. I began my correspondence with Regis at the concierge desk weeks before our arrival. We had restaurants booked and a day tour to champagne (with Best of France Tours) booked. No question was too small and no request was too large. Our last night was extremely special as the front desk team arranged an ice bucket and glasses for our farewell champagne toast and bread for the accompanying caviar in the bibliotech i.e. library. We played chess while waiting for the bubbly to chill and enjoyed the ambiance and good cheer of the Sofitel. I don't think I will stay at another hotel while in Paris!! Excellent value.

Yelp
MICE!!!! Sitting in the hotel Bar 30 for lunch, waiting for my burger. Mouse runs across the floor. Yikes! I cancel my order. A hotel manager comes over to me and assures me that this is a rare occurrence. They will have the service person come and investigate. Tour the city and come back. Thinking it may be an isolated incident, I go back to Bar 30 for a late night beer. Again, mouse goes across the floor. Two days later, I waiting for an elevator and I hear another hotel customer talking about see "Little Louie" (a mouse). Breakfast- mediocre at best. Room is actually pretty nice (that said, I was freaked out by the mice so I couldn't really enjoy being in the room). Unless you plan on bringing your cat with you, I'd stay somewhere else. POST REVIEW- somebody at the hotel must have had my original review removed from the YELP. I am reposting it now.... POST REVIEW x2- looks like my post was taken down again.. What a joke Yelp is... let the hotels cherry pick their reviews... not objective at all..

Yelp
During my trip to Europe my family splurged a little during our stop in Paris. We stayed here and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient near a stop on the underground. Very walkable to the Champ Elysees. A couple things the staff could've done better: making sure to stock toilet paper before we arrived, and bringing up the rollaway bed when they said they would.

Yelp
Stayed here w/ the family over the Christmas to New Year holiday. Staff is as nice as can be and greeted me by name from arrival. Was greeted by guest services (she was a wonderfully charming and beautiful woman) who showed us our room and the layout of the hotel. A handwritten note from the manager was there on arrival. Nice touch. The location is ideal - steps to great shopping, dining, Champs-Elysee, Louvre, etc. Its next to the US embassy, so the road is guarded and is very secure w/ little traffic. décor is exceptional. Room was very quiet during our entire stay. We had two rooms, which were stylishly decorated and cozy. All the staff were exceptional, most speak excellent English and went out of their way to be helpful to their guest. They made an extra effort to secure us tickets to Swan Lake at Opera Bastille. We really enjoyed out stay and would definitely come again. Another reflection on staff - we reserved an airport pickup. We paid the driver, but the driver and concierge realized the bill was to go through the hotel and they were honest enough to credit my account through the cash I provided to driver. That's class. I highly recommend this Sofitel location and especially its staff. 5-stars.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. Rooms felt a bit dated. Breakfast was wonderful....location was perfect for Walking.

Yelp
This hotel was unbelievably comfortable and friendly. The staff made sure we were all taken care of and made us feel warmly at home. We never touched and bag or opened a door or hailed our own cab. The Hermes' amenities and daily chocolate spoiled us to no end. We had dinner at the restaurant with one of my daughters French friends and as a native Parisian he totally enjoyed it as much as we all did. They provided information on locations, the metro, and got us tickets to Versailles. My friend met us in the lobby of the hotel one evening and was so impressed with the greet staff and how they kept her entertained until we came downstairs. The hotel was centrally located to the Champs Elysee, the Concorde metro entrance, the shnazzy Rue du St. Honere' and the touristy Rue du Riviali. They made our stay heavenly and we definitely will stay here again when we come back to fair France.
