Sofitel Saigon Plaza

I stayed at this hotel and everything was very nice. The scent in hotel was very good and made me feel comfortable. Room was clean and bed was soft, I could sleep well. All staff were very kind and always smiling. Especially Helen and James helped me a lot when I used gym and locker room after checking out . I really appreciate. Food was also delicious and came very fast. Bellman team was helpful and friendly too. Thank you for good service. I will come again next time I visit Ho Chi Minh City. 감사합니다 :)

The hotel was very well located, right in the heart of the city—close to major attractions and well connected by both taxi and public transport. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes. There was something for everyone, and even our young kids (aged 1 and 5) thoroughly enjoyed it. Room service, bellboy service, and the front desk team during check-in were all excellent. The bakery items, both at breakfast and at the reception counter, were fresh and delicious. The only downside was the complimentary welcome drinks. We tried three different drinks on two separate occasions, and unfortunately, none of them lived up to expectations in terms of taste. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

Could the run of 5 star reviews continue?|No as it turned out, not even close but still a solid hotel|Check in was a bit chaotic with a passport and our luggage misplaced but it was soon sorted I’m pleased to say. It’s a modern hotel so the rooms are a bit tight more in keeping with European hotels rather than what we’d seen in Vietnam. |It’s more a business hotel rather than for families and busloads of visitors seem to stop by a lot. |Bizarrely soggy pillows and a breakfast that looks amazing but tasted fairly ordinary. |The roof top pool is fantastic and the staff very helpful. |Platinum Accor. No upgrade and you could tell it wasn’t on their radar. They did do a letter of benefits though which is always a good idea. Welcome gift was a bottle of Perrier which was disappointing. Club benefits were just for my wife and I not the kids. It was available to them for a million dong each a day. Some hotels do extend club benefits to the kids which is always gratefully received and not expected. When you have such great food outside the hotel it was no loss to not eat there. The club lounge seemed pleasant and quiet but not inspiring enough for me to go there more than once.

Stayed here with the family on a very recent trip. The location is very good, in District 1, walking distance to a lot of places. |Our check in was smooth - almost at 9 PM|The rooms are decent sized, with modern amenities. It was a very pleasant surprise to see Karl Lagerfield toiletries. Our room was on the 18th Floor, on the same floor of the Pool and the Lounge. That gave us a very convenient to access to both at any time.|We used the pool on two days, every time at night around 9 PM onwards, it closes at 10 PM. We find it a great way to unwind an eventful day.|Didn’t get a chance to explore/ use the Spa/ Steam.|Tim at the Concierge was very helpful in planning our stay. I had a rough idea of what all to cover during our stay, he stepped in with his recommendation of places and helping me plan on what to do at what time of the day. Conversation with him was very very helpful.|Huong at the Millissime Lounge was always at our service. Kids under 12 aren’t allowed in the lounge. |Amongst the other restaurants, the Hotel has a Speakeasy Bar by the name of House of Barbaard Bar- open until 1 AM. We had good cocktails there on the first day.|We also dined at the Boudoir Lounge, S Pool Bar & Lounge, Mezz Restaurant, ST25 by KOTO. |Food was good everywhere.|No complaints about anything during our stay.

Dated hotel interiors. Room interior is too colourful with the bright purple patches. Not restful. Otherwise the room is good with a nice table and multiple power outlets for charging several devices. Good for business traveller. Bed is fine, pillows are too soft, woke up multiple times throughout the night, on both nights. Breakfast is basic. Concierge and staff are friendly, that's the plus. And the other plus is the cigar and whisky shop which is perfect for last minute corporate gift ideas.

It was a fantastic stay - the cleanliness of the room was perfect to detail after I pre-informed Tony prior to my arrival. Tony also helped me with a flawless check-in process too. We were pleasantly surprised by the birthday cake upon return to the room. Thanks for everything and would definitely return next time. Note: my room was facing the front road so still could hear the noise from the traffic during peak hours, luckily it was quiet during non-peak. Probably could request for the rooms facing the back next time when the constructions at the back of the hotel is completed.

I’m a regular and have been coming for years. What stands out to me is the impeccable service, especially from James and Minh up in the wellness centre who are always there to help out. The gym is clean, modern and functional with everything you need for a good workout. It’s rarely that busy which is a plus and there’s detox water and fruit available for free. The sauna, steam room and swimming pool is also a really nice addition to the facilities and I find it always clean and well maintained. Thanks a lot 👍

The hotel room featured a classic and elegant design—very classy. The service was excellent from the moment I alighted from the taxi; staff promptly picked up my luggage and guided me smoothly to the check-in counter. The breakfast restaurant was equally impressive, both in its interior design and the quality and variety of the food. Special thanks to staff members Thuy and That, whose warm hospitality and thoughtful recommendations for food and drinks truly enhanced the experience.
