Sofitel Saigon Plaza

We spent three nights at Sofitel Saigon to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special with a lovely welcome cake, thoughtful messages, and a very good bottle of wine from the management. Although there was a construction site nearby with jackhammers, the staff handled our concern with great care and professionalism. We were quickly offered a quieter room on the other side of the building, and to our delight, it was upgraded from a junior suite to a full suite. Breakfast was an absolute highlight; by far one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The croissants and pastries were outstanding, and the buffet offered a wide variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients. If I had to make one small suggestion for a hotel that proudly celebrates its French heritage, it would be to include goat cheese on the breakfast spread, as we had seen at the Pullman Saigon. The ST25 restaurant, which also hosts breakfast, was another wonderful surprise in the evenings. The flavors were refined and memorable, leaving us talking about the dishes for days afterward. We also enjoyed the daily high tea in the executive lounge, a charming experience with sweet treats that changed each day. The location is central, close to many consulates, and while the atmosphere is a little calmer than the Pullman, everything we needed was just minutes away with Grab. A special thank you goes to Mr. Marcus and his excellent team; Astrid, Evelyn, Brian, Huong, and Chef Thao for their constant attention, care, and warm hospitality. They made our anniversary celebration truly exceptional. We look forward to coming back!

Top-notch service. Travelling in 2 groups with young kids. Even though it's a slightly older hotel, rooms and beds are very comfortable. Shower was in the bathtub, so can be tricky for older folks and young. Staff noted that there are kids travelling with us and placed kid friendly items, stuffed toys in the room. A very pleasant surprise for the children. They even preempted the number of guests and placed correct number of towels in the rooms. A gesture much appreciated as most hotels just expect you to ask for the extra. One slight feedback, doormen could be more attentive to do their jobs instead of chatting amongst themselves especially when they see guests arrive or leave to help open doors when we have many things to carry, kids to handle. Room service for anything was greeted with a friendly voice and speedy deliveries. Having stayed in hotels all over the world, Sofitel Saigon has truly grasped the finer nuances of hospitality.

The room was beautifully prepared, elegant, and offered a stunning city view — we enjoyed every moment. A very special thanks goes to Mr. Tony, Guest Relation Officer, whose professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality truly stood out. He went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, and we are sincerely grateful for his efforts. What impressed us most was the consistency of kindness and attentiveness from the entire team — from the front desk to the Club Lounge. Every detail reflected Sofitel’s signature blend of French sophistication and Vietnamese hospitality, and it made us feel right at home. I would be delighted to give Sofitel Saigon Plaza a wholehearted 5-star rating for this exceptional experience. Thank you once again for making my first visit to Ho Chi Minh City so special. This is my “go to” hotel whenever I’m in Ho Chi Minh City. It’s central to many attractions and the CBD. About a 20 minute walk to Ben Thanh Market and about 10 minutes to “Japantown”.||Always a clean and comfortable place to be. ||The executive lounge, Club Millesime, is a very nice place to hang out. The staff here are superstars. Special shout-out to Evelyn, Tram, Zoe, Anna, Brian, Marcus, Astrid and Huong for making me feel welcome and “at home” whenever I visit. ||They recently changed the evening concept and offer a wonderful spread of bites via a buffet spread. The soups are exquisite and tonight their house-made smoked tuna was to die for! Special recognition to chef Cao Thao for the menu in Club Millesime.||Definitely the recommended Accor property in HCMC! Can’t go wrong with Sofitel!

Stayed here for 2 weeks over last couple of years for business trips and had an amazing experience. Everything from the location, rooms and staff was exceptional. The buffet breakfast was the highlight with enough variety to look forward to every day. Special mention to Tony from guest relations who went beyond to accommodate all our requests during the stay. Will highly recommend and absolutely stay again!!!

My Gym Experience at Sofitel Saigon Plaza I recently had the most fantastic gym day at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza, and I have to give a huge shout-out to the incredible team there. The session was guided by two amazing trainers, James and Dino, who were incredibly helpful and encouraging. Their expertise and positive energy made the workout both effective and enjoyable. It was great to have such dedicated professionals guiding me every step of the way. After the workout, I treated myself to a relaxing spa session. The service from the spa team, especially Uyên and the other staff members, was outstanding. They were so attentive and professional, creating a truly serene and rejuvenating experience. Overall, it was a perfect day of fitness and relaxation, all thanks to the exceptional staff at Sofitel Saigon Plaza. I highly recommend it!
