Sofitel Saigon Plaza

Sofitel Saigon Plaza was exquisite in all aspects - location (Walkable along District 1 - Independence Palace was 0.6 mi away=13 min walk), amenities, food, and best of all the service! Mezz - Breakfast buffet was delicious and the variety was amazing. Service was friendly, quick, and efficient. Boudoir - Drinks daily and I came back for their refreshing ginger iced tea. Trang was the most hospitable bartender and server we had during the whole time. I genuinely felt Vietnamese hospitality at its finest through her and the whole Sofitel Saigon Plaza staff. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Stayed one night in transit and arrived in the evening. Check-in took place in the Club Millesime around 5 p.m., where the team was attentive and efficient. I was upgraded one category to a Luxury Club room, which was a nice gesture and very much appreciated. Dinner at the L17 Bistro was excellent. I used the Explorer discount and the welcome drink was a well-made cocktail. The food and conversation both stood out to me, I had a very nice conversation with the staff. The room was comfortable and clean, with thoughtful details and a good layout. The outside view was quite average, but everything inside the room made up for it. Since I was leaving early the next morning, the team provided a breakfast box at checkout, which was very helpful. Overall, it was a short but polished stay. The service was gracious from start to finish, and I left with the impression of a hotel that genuinely takes care of its guests. I look forward to returning for a longer visit to visit Saigon and sample all the hotel restaurants.

As part of our Vietnam trip, we chose this hotel (along with other Accor properties) and were so pleased with the service we received. The staff, Ginny at the front desk, Astrid, Tina, Evelyn, Brian and Marcus were so helpful and great to meet each morning and evening in the lounge. Excellent customer service! Hotel was nicely situated in a perfect location for our needs to navigate the city. The food was excellent as well as the 3 things I value in a room, great mattress and sheets, pillows and good shower! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

First off, I absolutely loved the breakfast buffet. As my wife and I sat down, a young gentleman promptly asked if we would like coffee right away, which was a very pleasant surprise. The coffee he brought was outstanding—wonderful aroma and taste, with a traditional Vietnamese chicory influence. It had a mild, welcoming fragrance and a rich, deep flavor that truly made my morning after a long 30-hour journey from Manvel, TX. The breakfast lounge itself had a historical French feel. A young lady walked around offering guests pastries, which added to the experience—mind you, I’ve never been to France, but this certainly felt like how I imagine it. As my wife and I finished our breakfast and prepared to leave, the same young gentleman kindly asked if we would like another coffee for the road. By that point, I had already enjoyed three. Overall, the service was fantastic. The rooftop pool was another highlight—relaxing there in the late morning after breakfast with a beer was an experience in itself. We stayed at Sofitel near Christmas, and while I can’t quite fully explain it, the holiday selection was excellent… though I suspect the beer may have had some influence on that opinion.

The hotel is very nice and in a convenient location, service is excellent throughout! The restaurant ST25 has excellent modern fusion Vietnamese cuisine, and has been put on the Michelin guide list. Food is amazing, love every dish on the set menu!! each bite is an amazing explosion of flavours, so delicious!! Highly recommend this restaurant. Anthony who served us was excellent in guiding us through the dishes, and most importantly he has such a warm personality and serves us with a nice smile throughout. We had such a wonderful dining experience, will definitely come again the next time we visit.

Wonderful stay, such a warm and friendly welcome, all of the staff couldn’t do enough for us. It was our son’s 21st birthday trip and they went above and beyond our expectations. We have stayed in 6 hotels during our 3 weeks touring Asia and this hotel was our favourite by far, it wasn’t too big but not too small so it felt personalised. We thought marina bay sands in Singapore was good, but the Sofitel had the personal little touches that made our stay special. We would definitely stay again. In one word, fabulous!

I had an exceptional experience at Sofitel Saigon Plaza. The location is ideal for exploring Ho Chi Minh City, providing easy access to major landmarks while maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere. The breakfast was a particular highlight, offering an impressive array of options that beautifully showcase Vietnamese cuisine and local beverages. It was a perfect introduction to the city's culinary culture. Service throughout the hotel was impeccable; the check-in and check-out processes were seamless, and every staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and attentive to my requests. I highly recommend this hotel for its combination of convenience, cultural authenticity, and outstanding hospitality. Was given a welcome cake for anniversary.

Really great hotel lives up to the 5 stars. The staff were really helpful especially Andy assistant chef concierge. He went out of his way to help us resolve our issues with Qatar over our baggage issues. All the staff were great and would highly recommend staying there. The. Breakfast was breathtaking with all the different variety to suit all pallets. The swimming pool on the 18th floor and views are stunning. The location of the place is 10min walk to the centre. So thank you Andy and the staff for making our stay so great after a very difficult start to our holidays. The only negative I would say the in the room is the control for the all the controls in the room. Impossible to see at night. Also not much lighting in the central area of the room. Small minor irritations and personal opinion, as everything else was perfect.
