I stayed at this hotel during a recent business trip and was very satisfied with the service provided. The staff were professional, polite, and always willing to assist with any requests. The breakfast was of good quality, offering a wide selection of fresh items each morning. The Wi-Fi connection was stable and fast, which was important for my work. My room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a long day. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to other business travelers.

Such great staff. Kornelia have been exceptional during breakfast especially. Anything we needed they ensured we had it. We also had amazing cleaning service everyday. The staff overall really takes pride in their work. We ate at the restaurant for lunch one day and dinner the next, and both times the food was wonderful. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and a great way to start the day. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and very well-maintained. Special thanks to the hostess Irina — she was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always made sure everything was perfect. Her warm attitude really made a difference in my stay. Highly recommend this place, and I would definitely come back again!

Good hotel, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Great location and nice views from the hotel’s window. Staff with great behavior towards kids, especially Olga, she talked nicely with my son and he didn’t felt exclude. ❤️❤️ for sure we will come back

Fabulous location, just off the central square and easy walking distance to old city, museums, etc. Very comfortable room, superb restaurant for breakfast— especially over the weekend, and we enjoyed excellent lunch and dinner there, too. Our best meals in Warsaw! Very attentive service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loved everything about this hotel! Sofitel Victoria Warsaw was the perfect stay—beautiful room, excellent service, and a prime location right in the heart of the city. I especially loved the luxurious robes and comfy slippers—such a nice touch after long days of exploring. And the mimosas were a pleasant surprise—a delightful way to start the day! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Warsaw.

The staff is excellent and very friendly. No worries with a language, English is understood and very common. The room is beautiful, the location is central to everything with a park across the street. The restaurant staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The food was delicious and covered every desire. I would stay here again!

Sofitel Warsaw – a 5-star name with a 3-star reality. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, this one was truly one of the most disappointing in the luxury category. Check-in is strictly at 3 PM, even if your room is ready. No early check-in, no flexibility. You just wait. I requested a quiet room, clearly stating how important that was to me. The result? At 7:30 AM, I was woken up by housekeeping loudly dragging furniture and slamming doors. When I mentioned it to reception, I was told: “This is a business hotel. Cleaning starts at 7:30. We don’t have quieter rooms.” So if you’re hoping to relax or get a peaceful night’s sleep — this is not your hotel. Maybe it works if you’re here for business and your company’s paying. Otherwise, skip it. The room was clean but very outdated. Furniture feels like it’s from the early 2010s, with a visible stain on the sofa, a small hole in the sheet, and faded wallpaper. They claim to have renovated in 2018, but I suspect it was more of a cosmetic touch-up. Soundproofing? Practically non-existent. I could hear everything from neighboring rooms. Temperature? Cold. The heating function barely works. I had to sleep in warm clothes, nose frozen. Also, no one at reception mentioned anything about the spa, gym, or hotel amenities. I had to find that information myself. Staff seemed indifferent at best. ✅ Pros: – Spacious, stylish lobby – Nice bathroom ❌ Everything else? Sadly underwhelming. This could pass as a 3-star hotel with no complaints. But when you’re paying for 5-star comfort and service, expectations are higher — and this place doesn’t deliver.

Yelp
We picked this hotel because of its ideal location. It took us about 10-12 minutes by foot to get to the center of Old Town from the hotel. The bed and comforter were more comfortable than my new bed back at home, and that's saying a lot!! Amenities included a safe, Bose Wave SoundTouch system, iron/ironing board, Nespresso machine, small teapot, Balmain toiletries, hair dryer, and bathrobes. We stayed on the fourth floor with a view out onto the square and park. I liked that you were able to open the room window to get some fresh air, but just be careful because the air conditioner will turn off while the window is open. I also really liked the Bose Wave SoundTouch system that had a radio and also connected to the Bluetooth on my phone. Our other favorite thing about the Sofitel was the unforgettable pool. There are a few pool beds to lounge on along with neat, modern looking pool chairs, but the pool itself is a work of art. The ceiling is mirrored and the lights add a beautiful illuminating effect alongside the pool. They have soft, ambient music playing through speakers by the pool to add to the relaxing ambience . Also, there is a shower right alongside the pool to rinse off. If you're a sauna person like myself, be sure not to miss the one here. It's located in the female changing room. A big thank you to Kuba, who showed me where the sauna was and even gave me some lavender essential oils. I can't wait to visit Warsaw in the near future, so I can stay at the Sofitel again!!

Yelp
This hotel would have gotten 4 stars. Generally the staff have been gracious and helpful. There is one individual who is at the entrance of the pool and wellness area that has knocked 1 star off this review. For 2 days in a row, he has exhibited rude behavior upon my entering that area. I really don't know if this is a racial thing, I observed him interacting with other guests with a very different positive attitude. Regardless of the reason, this hotel should not have such persons working here especially dealing with guests. I will be making a formal complaint at some point. It's a shame such employees bring down the overall experience of a stay and they do affect the reputation of the hotel.

Yelp
We stayed here for a few nights and the hotel itself was lovely. It is located just across the street from a lovely memorial; they were having a ceremony while we were there and tanks and military personnel lined the street. The gardens and fountain were very nice as well. It was close enough to old town and to the river for us to walk there as well. The room itself was a nice size, well decorated and I really liked the large window that we were able to open for fresh air. Breakfast was excellent! 5 stars. I fell in love with the fresh spinach juice and they had more options than any other hotel breakfast on my three week stay in Poland. The pool was gorgeous with a fountain and current and although I only swam once, I very much enjoyed it. I would love to give Vienna House 5 stars but I must take off a star for too many odd/incompetent staff. From the bartender who took 20 minutes to make our drink and made the wrong drink and then charged us and the came to the pool later to try and charge us again for the same drink, to the gentleman working at the spa area who wasn't at the door and then got mad at us for going in while he was gone to the front desk who charged a massage to my room for which my friend had paid.... I mean, their English was fine and most were smiling but that is not the measure of excellent service. I hope my interactions were just a fluke and I would still recommend this hotel when in Krakow.

Yelp
This hotel was pretty nice but did have some flaws. The pool was really nice, great size and well lit, not too crowded. However there were area where they taped up doors and showers which made it look kind of poor. The place could use some renovation. Breakfast is nice it is a Buffett and super convenient. You walk in and give your name and you are seated and are eating in less than 5 mins. When done you get up and go which is convenient if you are on business. But can you get a cup of coffee? Very difficult and I don't know why. I also ate at the hotel restaurant one night, it was ok if the service was a tad slow. Menu seems a little limited. Good local soups, worth a try. In the room, the way the lights work drove me crazy. Could not turn lights on sometimes. Don't know what the deal was. As for the shower you need a PhD to work the knobs. Ridiculously complicated. Also my room key de magnetized and I had to run down and get it re done. These types of things irritate me. Concierge friendly and helpful, he gave me good recommendations on where to eat. So in sum, some good, some bad, works out to an average score.

Yelp
The Sofitel hotel chain is my go-to chain when traveling. It's a hotel that oozes luxury and comfort for me and as I'm one of those people who rather lie in the comfortable bed and order room service rather than go sights I could care less about (hey, at least I'm honest), I value a great hotel. We booked the Prestige suite when staying at this hotel, which as luck would have it, was newly renovated and in absolutely awesome condition. The room was absolutely gorgeous and very high-tech. It came with two bed and baths, a large living room and an absolutely heavenly bed (I fell in love). Everything in this hotel room was perfection - so perfect, that we actually extended our stay for three days just to lie in that bed for a bit longer. Yep. We're that crazy. As a Platinum member with the company that owns the Sofitel brand, we were well received by the person we pre-arranged some things with at the hotel. Unfortunately, this hotel has a big issue and it's service. The people here unfortunately seem incapable to smile, which honestly is such a big pity, because the hotel itself and the dining options at the hotel are absolutely awesome. Let's get to the good part: food. The dining options at this hotel are absolutely amazing. It hosts a great upscale restaurant which actually has really good prices. We did a 3-course dinner for four people with wine for around $200 if I'm not mistaken, which was absolutely fantastic value considering the food was great. We ordered room service probably 10 times during our stay (don't judge me), and it was great comfort food. The prices are honestly what kept us ordering here, we could order two dishes off the room service for around $30 for two people which is absolutely unbeatable. A shabby Hilton in the states would run you more than that and give you much less. Overall: stay in this hotel, but don't be surprised if you are met with surly faces at times. Also, not all the rooms are renovated, so make sure you try to arrange one.

Yelp
Very elegant, recently renewed hotel in absolutely best location, walking distance from old town, Warsaw University, many parks and river bank, so most beautiful part of town. Above accompanied by very clean and nicely arranged rooms, spacey hall and professional service make this hotel great spot for conferences a well as private trips. I just held there 240 people conference and all there was no single voice of disappointment. So this is the best recommendation.

Yelp
This used to be my second home in a previous job, very strange to be back. The hotel is in a perfect location. It has been nicely renovated since I last stayed, the staff are as friendly and helpful as they always were. The rooms are divided into classic (not renovated) and a more modern version after renovation. I stayed in classic as it was always OK for me before but check that what you reserved is what you saw in the published photos. The loss of a star is down to a fairly common issue in Poland, overheating in the bedroom. It was like sleeping in a hot wet towel. The climate control was noisy and ineffective so not so easy to sleep. Breakfast is truly epic, choice, freshness and the ability to order freshly cooked items. The eggs benedict were great, although not on English muffins :( A big choice of coffees served fresh at the table.

Yelp
This was the hotel I was the most worried about on our recent trip to Europe. Based on pics from the property and other reviewers, I was expecting something very simple and basic with minimal pleasantries. We were VERY pleasantly surprised. The hotel from the outside is not very pleasing on the eye. It is very cold and concrete looking. However, as soon as you enter the front doors, all of that changes. The hotel is modern looking and warm feeling. The hotel is also booming with people all through the day. It would seem that tons of tour companies use this hotel for their stop/stay in Warsaw as there are always tour buses parked in the front and nearly everyone we met in the hotel was with a tour. Our room was very nicely updated with very pleasing colors. There was plenty of room for us to both unpack, move around, and get ready together daily without bumping into each other. My only issue was the shower/tub. The bottom of the tub is quite slick and I kept feeling like I would slip getting out if I wasn't overly cautious. It would be nice if they got rid of the tub altogether and went with a standing shower. We also had a room overlooking the park across the street that houses the grave of the unknown soldier. It was very peaceful to view in the morning while getting ready. We hung out at the bar almost every day before heading out for lunch and for a night cap. The bar staff was always very friendly and efficient. We only caught one of their names during our stay and she provided spot on service to us each time...Klaudia/Claudia. The bar was pretty dead during the day, but was usually buzzing at night. The hotel could not have been in a more perfect location for us. We easily walked to Old Town several times, walked to the new section several times, and walked to the theater district several times. We only took a taxi from and to the airport the entire time we were there and found no need for public transportation. One employee that stood out to me was the concierge. I didn't get his name, but I should have because he deserves some recognition. I had arranged a rather expensive private tour for me and my husband prior to our arrival. He called us the next morning after our arrival to let us know we could come down at anytime to go over the details. He was very patient with us with all of our questions and our desire to pay half in EUR cash and the rest in Zloty on our credit card. The next morning, our tour guide had not showed up in the lobby during the time allotted. There were many tour groups leaving and meeting in the lobby at that particular time so I thought maybe he over looked us as we were just two people. The lobby cleared out, but there was still a line at the concierge. We sat there a few more minutes and I began to grow angry. We walked over and got in line at the concierge stand. This awesome guy came from out of nowhere directly up to me to let me know that he had already spoken with my tour guide and that he will be there shortly. He knew exactly who I was, he read the look on my face, he took care of the issue before I brought it to him. This man is very good at his job!!! It was also very hot while we were in Warsaw. We were pretty miserable after touring one day and we decided to walk over to the new shopping center nearby and go in search of swim suits. We found some...they are probably the ugliest suits we've ever purchased, but it's end of season and no one there will ever see me again...hah! Anyway, we got back to the hotel and changed and headed down to the hotel's pool. We are not typically people who utilize the pool facilities on vacations to Europe, but I think we may now incorporate this into our future trips. The pool was beautiful and quiet. The ceiling is mirrored so you can see yourself swim...which is a little weird at first, but relaxing after a while. I'm not sure what the pool is usually like, but we ended up having the pool to ourselves for about a hour...then a few other couples started coming in. I would definitely suggest heading down to the pool to relax after a taxing day. I suggest the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria to anyone staying in Warsaw. The location can no be beat and the service is top notch!!!

Yelp
Yes, yes, and YES! Gorgeous lobby remodel, and I hope they extend it to the rooms soon. Terrific location to Waszawa Centralna (the main train station - it's a very short cab ride away), the Warsaw Uprising museum, old town, Ogrod Saski (a lovely lovely park), University of Warsaw, Tomb of the Unknown Solder, and all the shopping and eating to be done along Nowy Swiat. Several good restaurants within walking distance. The daily breakfast in the hotel lobby is wonderful, and the staff speaks terrific English. This is storied hotel in Warsaw's history as well - locals are always very impressed when you say you are staying there and usually have some story to share about it. Wi-fi is not free for guests (boo), laundry services were prompt and good, free bottled water in the room was nice, and the wine list in the lobby lounge is rather good. Valet and bell staff are warm and helpful.

Yelp
I didn't stay here but we came for a coffee. A EUR21 euro coffee to be precise! Which is amazingly expensive 2 cafe latte's, apple juice and Sprite. However the Concierge looked after our bags for the day (only after a bit of an argument) so all was forgiven. Our friends stayed here and said it was fabulous, though.

Yelp
One of the best hotels i've been visited. Hotel staff are very helpful and always smiling. Breakfast may sound expensive (65 zl) but definetily it's worth of it! Hotel looks outside like 80's soviet complex, but inside it is very nice and decorated like 60-70 style. Room were nice too w/ two separate rooms and two bathrooms. It was somekind of suite. We were not able to get our room in time, so we got that suite. That was very nice too!

Yelp
Nice hotel central to the city and close to old town.. Big negative was the front desk staff very unfriendly and unhelpful

Yelp
Sophisticated and beautiful hotel with one of the best hotel breakfasts I've experienced. There is a fruit smoothie available upon entering and many juice blends for different health benefits. French press coffee, local foods as well as a general European style breakfast is provided. The front desk and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Located within walking distance of multiple sights, cafes, and restaurants including my favorite local pub, BrowArmia. Loved the hotel so much, I will be staying at the Sofitel in Rome!
