Firstly, the customer service is amazing! The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. There were some negatives:
We arrived early at around 11.00, our room wasn't ready, but for $120 (in addition to the $340/night I was already paying) we would be able to check in early. This seems to me to be a gratuitous cash grab; if there's a room ready, we should be able to check in.
There is no secure wi-fi - who does that?! I attempted to download a book on my e-reader, I gave up trying to connect the e-reader to the wi-fi after trying for 20 minutes.
The Smart TV isn't so smart. We only had access to live TV. This is 2026, not 2006 - very few people watch live TV any longer. We could not access our streaming apps, so we were forced to watch a movie only to be interrupted every 15 minutes or so with 12 to 14 ads (yes, I counted them), what fun!
While the room was stylish, it lacked some functional elements, such as light switches on both sides of the bed; when there's 2 guests, light switches only on one side is inconvenient. Also the door to the bathroom is frosted glass, while cute, it lets light into the room when one is using the bathroom. Again, inconvenient when there's 2 guests.
