Sofra Turkish was a lovely experience with great food and ambience. The service was warm and welcoming. We had the banquet for 2 and was good value and a way to taste a few dishes and all were very tasty. You will need to make a booking ahead if time as even midweek it was very busy.

Google
Easily a top 5 restaurant in Toowoomba - consistently delicious meals with good service. Large serving sizes, great value. Always bring guests from out of town here as they never disappoints. I have tried many dishes from their menu; the mezze platter, mixed grill and sundae are particular highlights.

We had a great time at Sofra, the atmosphere was amazing and I loved their deco. Their service was on-point. A special mention to CAN, he made our night. The food was great but I think next time we will skip the main meal and go straight to dessert. We saw the next table's dessert and really wished we were all sharing so I can taste them all. As we were a party of 2 and dinner left us with little room for dessert to order more than 2 servings. All in all we loved everything we ordered, Sofra is worth a visit if you are stopping in Toowoomba.

Everything was good as they told me. I came here for the first time yesterday , the atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff was friendly and polite. The food, the food was amazing. We had an Ottoman banquet (for two people) with 4 courses as showed in the pictures, definitely worth it. Coming back for sure!

Beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere. The staff are attentive and gave great recommendations. The star of the banquet for me was definitely the marinated meats, so juicy, tender and flavorful! A must-try in Toowoomba!

I visited this evening for dinner. Being a Tuesday night, I did not expect the restaurant to be fully booked so I did not have a reservation. The staff were extremely accommodating however, and took down my details to contact me when a table became available. After a short wait, a table became available. I now understand why this restaurant was fully booked on a Tuesday. The food was excellent and the staff were just as great. The mixed grill offered a wonderful sample of different flavours. The chicken could not have been cooked any better. It was Smokey, tender and juicy. I will absolutely visit again the next time I am in Toowoomba.

Yelp
Every time, every thing, is an experience. Book ahead, bring your friends, or family or special person and relax while being made to feel like the only table in the restaurant. Please do try something different each visit, you will be thoroughly delighted.

Yelp
The place has a good food and service. We are vegetarians and their variety of choices was pretty impressive. For dessert we have selected 2 dishes the house Malabi with sundae and their Knafa both of them were amazing. The place follows Covid-19 distance regulation as well making sure to register all attendees.

Yelp
Amazing customer service! The food was delicious. All the staff joined together to sing Happy Birthday for my friend which was the cherry ontop of a great night.

Yelp
Although I love the food at this restaurant and highly recommend the experience and cuisine, the inflexibility of the restaurant owners to split checks or to allow separate payments makes it completely unusable to me as I go here often for business meetings. So, if you're planning on going and paying for everyone at the table or if everyone has exact change then this is a great restaurant venue. However if you're going for business and to take people out for the Toowoomba Turkish dining experience, it can be a bit of a pain and it can be embarrassing.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Good value and worth a visit especially on a Monday night on Iowa Toowoomba. Meals generous and delicious

Yelp
Had the Vegatarian Mezze, great mix of fabulous food, made for the perfect recharging lunch. In particular the Falafel and Fritters were standouts, Turkish bread not far behind (unsurprising ). Turrkish Peqch Nectar was yum, recommended.

Yelp
Must try. Definitely authentic. The dip platter had us fighting over it. My favourite dip platter ever. Drinks are so good. I made two entrees into my main as the vegetarian option was salad or pizza. Still awesome. Though could benefit from more vegetarian options. They had dancers through the restaurant and guitar player ( great guitarist and the dancers were so great even danced with a customer). Parents loved their food. Little pricey but worth it.

Yelp
I think this is the best place for lamb lovers! Michael and I were there accidentally, but it was awesome! Though we were there around 8 pm, still lots of customers dining. We had grilled baby lamb, hot apple tea, and Turkish Sundae for dessert. Highly recommend for couples and groups.

Yelp
Good variety of tasty Turkish cuisine. Moderate prices, though not overly large servings. The plate of four dips makes a great starter for four people, but be sure to order an extra serve of the best Turkish bread you've ever had.

Yelp
Have now been to Sofras twice. First time we went they they were super busy so we decided to get takeaway and the lady who served us was very helpful and recommded a few very deliscious dishes, which we Absolutely loved. The second time we dined in and I had the seafood hot pot. It was deliscious and once again service was great. The only thing i didnt like was that the bread was put inside the hot pot instead of on the side which made it go soggy, but still very yum.

Yelp
We ordered 6 dips for the table but sadly only one small serving of bread was provided. The server came over and said he would get us some more. Half an hour later I went up to the server again and they said oh sorry we will get you some. I had to ask again once more after that. Our mains arrived before the bread. We couldn't finish half of the dips because there wasn't enough bread. My food was served in a clay pot, which was cool. It was nice enough but stayed piping hot for so long in it. I asked for a plate or bowl so I could tip it out and give it a chance to cool. A repeat of the bread fiasco. I think it's probably as good as everyone says but they definitely need to look at putting more staff on at busy times so you're not left waiting and missing things that never arrive.
