Amazing wine bar/Italian light dinner vibes. Went here with friends for a light dinner and was surprised we could get a last minute reservation on a Saturday night. When we got there at our reservation time we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to leave, so the hostess poured us all a complimentary glass of wine for us to sip while we waited. Never had that level of thoughtful service before, incredible! Charcuterie were paired perfectly and had an adventurous selection. Pesto pasta was the best I’ve ever had, with fresh homemade pasta. Food was elevated with crisp accompanying white wine. You absolutely need to try this place for yourself!

What an experience. I had needed a place to work from in the area and while a life long NY’er I always lived on the East Side. Sad I know . In any case my friend recommended a few places in the area and I decided to try Sogno Toscano. I am very glad for the recommendation and for the experience. I found a table right by the window and it is obviously not like your normal coffee shop conworking space it is a market and wine bar. I was like am I going to be that guy on his laptop working while all these other people are having a great time ? That was all brushed aside when the manager came up to me and asked me what I wanted. I definitely wanted breakfast food as it was so cold but also the pasta looked amazing . Got the omelet and a latte and a full blown bottle of Pelligrino 😆 I was amazed when the latte was poured in a wine glass. I am a bit out of the loop on the coffee scene but this was something , great espresso just right . Very cool vibe and good people . I met a wonderful lady who was visiting her daughter we talked all things Atlanta and food and NY. Then there was a couple from actual Tuscany , I asked them how the food compared and we shared stories a bit with the language barrier but it was amazing . Would come back I hope to be a quasi regular. I imagine it would be a great spot for a date or special occasion as well. I got very little work done but I was very relaxed afterwards. Well done Sogno!

Had an amazing dinner at Sogno Toscano. The food was really exceptional - everything was prepared with great attention to detail and authentic Italian flavors. The restaurant's ambiance is wonderful, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Special mention to our server Diego, who provided outstanding service throughout the evening. His attentiveness and recommendations made our visit even more special. Highly recommend!

Extremely delicious breakfast experience delivered with great charm, warmth and panache. Our selections were delightful. Diego was too kind and very helpful. Made me feel right at home. Made great suggestions and upgraded my table to one with a better view. He was just super, like the cuisine.

An amazing authentic Italian place! Manager Diego was very kind and helpful to give us recommendations on the menu, and helped us to choose delicious cocktails! They also have a pianist playing which sets the tone for the relaxing evening!

What a beautiful little find this was. The food was unreal, the bruschetta was the best I've ever had. The wine was delightful and happy hour prices are a winner. Then the Tartufo... Wow. Add to this the friendly welcome and impeccable service it's a pure winner. We will return.

As a local in West Village, no place encapsulates the charm of the neighborhood quite like Sogno Toscano. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The food, coffee and wine are all exceptional, and the service is always on point. Carlos on the staff always delivers!

Hyper cute wine-bar that’s also a cafe. Filled with locals. Everyone says good morning. It’s a vibe. Chai latte was super spicy (!) and came in a wine glass which was cool. Cappuccino was good, could have been slightly stronger. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Good trusty Italian cafe with delicious and fresh tasting and authentic Italian sandwiches! I will say that it is on the expensive side for a sandwich, but it is a great spot to come once in a while if you're meeting a friend for a nice lunch! I got the maremma sandwich and really enjoyed it! The ingredients are super fresh, and the bread is just so delicious and has the perfect level of crunch to it. I also loved that all of their Sandwiches come with a side of olives; such a nice little surprise! Overall very cute spot with good service and delicious food!

Oh my goddddd this place is so delicious and just gorgeous. I was in Italy this summer (lil plug hahahah it was incredible) and this sandwich reminded me of the high quality ingredients and delightful flavors I enjoyed there. The sandwich had arugula, mortadella, burrata & pesto aka perfection. I had a great cappuccino too. The seating in the garden is so cute for a warm day and a cocktail! Knocked off one star just because it's very expensive for simple food. I'm sure the ingredients & quality contribute to the price but it's just my perspective

Sogno Toscano has the vibe everyone is looking for these days but it's so insanely overpriced for what it is. While the food and coffee are decent, that's all it is. Just decent, nothing special. Service is nice enough but they don't allow you to sit unless you're also eating, which is a shame especially when there aren't a ton of affordable gluten free options for those who have dietary restrictions. Being limited to just salad or super overpriced pasta isn't worth the atmosphere.

Been here multiple times because I live around the block. It's the perfect place to come for a weekday lunch or dinner, they always have a good wine special during the week. Their soups are good, their sandwiches are even better and the perfect size to split. I've also always had a good coffee here. Definitely gets pretty busy when the weather warms up.

Popped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The spot was pretty quiet with plenty of tables. The sandwich tasted so fresh and was very filling. While it is expensive, I felt like it was worth it because of the quality of the ingredients! Often times when I have a sandwich I'm felt feeling bloated and gross but that didn't happen at all with this one. Also, all sandwiches come with a side of olives!

I was walking around the neighborhood and noticed this cute restaurant with outdoor dining on Perry Street. Everyone had a drink on their table - wine to be precise My friend and I opted to sit outside and each ordered Prosecco, schiacciatte, selection of bruschetta. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly :) I will be back to try their coffee and pastries in the morning.

I've had this spot on my list ever since I've discovered this wine bar existed. So when I was in the West Village, I suggested to my friends that we should check out this place. We walked in on a weekday late afternoon (2-3pm). It was quite empty inside which only a few patrons inside. So, we grab our table right next to the A/C and the windows. When you are inside, it feels very chill. It seems like you are transported to a place away from the bustling NYC into a more calmer Italy countryside. I liked the whole ambience of the store. It was also nice to escape the heat outside for a bit. I specifically decided to order one whole serving of the Deliziosa sandwich with a glass of Gemma Rose. When asked about the wines, the server mentioned that the wines here tend to be more of the drier side. But she recommended Gemma Rose as the more sweeter option of the choices listed. As stated, the Gemma Rose was a bit drier than sweet, but I did like the taste. It went well with the sandwich and it suited the ambience of the store. As for the Deliziosa sandwich - there was a lot of thin slices of prosciutto inside. The texture was very soft & rich, but it made the whole sandwich a bit salty for my taste. However, I did enjoy the truffle inside. My friends did order the lunch special combo and got the red pepper pomodoro soup option (which was a tomato-y soup). Honestly, I think I would recommend/prefer half sandwich and soup to balance out the salty-ness of the sandwiches. But overall, I did enjoy my experience here.

This was by far the best prosciutto I've ever had. I've been to Italy as well and that is saying a lot. This place was so authentic and cute even the waiters were from Italy. For the sandwich I recommend splitting with someone because the picture does not do it justice on how big it actually is. The bread was super light airy and crispy it tasted amazing. What topped it off was the black truffle in the sandwich, it was just a hint and not too much. Usually I find places put too much truffle where it over powers to the point you can't taste anything else. This was not the case. The charcuterie board was super generous. My favorite part was definitely the jam and the dried prosciutto. The jam was sweet and fresh, not sure what the fruit was but it was addicting. The prosciutto broke apart evenly and was not stringy and it's rare to find that here in the US. I am definitely coming back here to eat again even if it's a trip to get here.

Insanely good sandwich. I got the one with tuna and everyone thought my sandwich was going to be the least favorite of the 4 we ordered. They were wrong It was AMAZING.

Great restaurant- between the sandwiches and pizza I opted for the pizza and you must must must get the prosciutto + truffle + balsamic pizza (I forgot exactly what it was called). Place had live music when we went for dinner and was good vibes overall. Watch out they only serve wine and very select cocktails. Overall recommend.

Such a cozy wine bar with live music in the middle of west village. I decided to get hot chocolate and I tell you this was the best hot chocolate I've ever had. They also had small bites and many cocktail/alcoholic options. Definitely coming back and they have wine classes!

My dining partner was pulled in by the asparagus soup but she ended up not caring for it. I thought it was good, but a bit "earthy". The plain maghareta pizza was made with quality ingredients, but the crust is a little sandy, based on what they make the dough from. Seated and ordered promptly, but that was it for the staff. No follow up? or "Can I get you something else?". I had a mimosa also, that was very much on point, and in an ample wine glass. I did see the girl who was making the cocktails and she is meticulous and cares about her work. Overall, it's a cool place to "see and be seen" in the Village. I'd return and try some of the other items.

Oh my goodness my favorite wine bar/pizza place! Feeling like I was in Italy, I personally obsessed with prosciutto so the DELIZIOSA PINSA absolutely my favorite! I finished the whole pie not even realizing that it was a big portion. It goes really well with a glass of wine. Definitely going back here for the same menu. My friends like their sandwiches too. Their soup is also must try :) cute place and great service! Overall 5/5!!

YUMMMM- this sandwich was so delicious, the bread was so fresh, the stracchino cheese was so fresh & paired with the yellow tomatoes made the most dreamy bite! Sit outside if it's a nice day because it was such great vibes & the neighborhood is great people watching! Service was good too.

Sogno Toscano Market & Wine is the best wine bar I have been to. I kept telling my friend that it felt like I was in Italy again. The spot has everything! Charcuterie, red and white wine, champagne, lattes, and food. I'm a little sad that they are only in New York. Cali needs to learn from this spot with all the assorted snacks/charcuterie they have to offer. My bestie recommended this spot for drinks prior after having slices at Zazzy's. We ordered a bottle to share with salami and olives. Although their menu has 3 meat options, you can completely customize to your liking. THIS is what I live for; since I am extremely picky with my meats and cheeses. I saw the staff in the front slicing some salami and pointed to it and requested some. I ordered a second serving which had fennel in it which was even more delicious alongside the wine. We didn't have reservations but the folks inside made room for us. Not once did they rush us out which was pleasant. They had a wine and art night with friends and they shifted some tables around. The entire spot is a vibe and worth checking out for any type of drink. Cheers!

I've been here a couple times, once with friends and once solo, and both times were lovely dining experiences. It's a great place to drop in for a glass of wine (or two) and some nibbles while catching up with friends. It also doubles as a coffee shop earlier in the day. Food is absolutely amazing, with high quality cuts of meat and cheese. I treated myself to a delicata sandwich recently and it was the perfect sandwich - perfect bread to filling ratio, and the bread (which is more of a focaccia) was perfectly toasted without losing its integrity. Also, something about the savory prosciutto and sweet honey is just *chefs kiss*. Now, just a warning - these sandwiches do not come cheap, like, not even a little bit lol. A sandwich will set you back more than $20. But for a sandwich that's this well crafted, it's worth the occasional treat. One other thing to note is while staff members were very polite, I definitely would save coming here for a day I'm in no rush. As others have mentioned, they do get slammed with business in the evening and it takes a while for to get served. Otherwise, I see this spot becoming a solid part of my rotation and can't wait to come back again.

My daughter and I had a late lunch here on Columbus Day weekend. It was a nice day so we sat outside. My daughter had the avocado toast and I had a the delicata sandwich. Both items were delicious. We also both enjoyed an espresso. The food was fabulous. We seemed to have several waitstaff thru the course of our lunch. Not sure if one was ending a shift and another took over. This only caused some delay in checking on us and getting the final bill. Still a great place for lunch in the West Village.

We always come here when we're in town. A true Italian cafe in the west village. Food was amazing. The wine was wonderful. My stepdaughter is making me write about the delicious hot chocolate. As far as the vibe, the staff spoke Italian better than English. Can't wait until our next NYC trip.

My boyfriend and I were waiting to meet our friends in West Village and we stopped by this place since it was close to our meet up location. I am a light drinker so I wanted to make sure I'm awake by the time I met our friends so I decided to order an oat chai latte at 9pm (I know pretty late for a chai haha) and it helped me get some caffeine in while being tasty! I was surprised it came in a wine glass since the chai latte was warm too! Smart idea for a night time glass since it looks like I'm also out drinking with my boyfriend but at the same time I'm not touching the warm drink with my hands so it was nice to sip on a chai while waiting. I liked it so much I ordered two of these chai lattes! We dined outdoor and even though this block is usually lively around 9pm, it was nice and quiet in our corner. I'd say it's a good stop for a date for 2 but not a big group since the atmosphere/ place is very cozy. I still can't stop thinking about my chai in the wine glass (I wish other restaurants did this during the night)!

To depict the Sogno Toscano experience: classy yet casual, tasteful tunes, alive but in a laid-back way, and drinks and bites that match the splendor of everything else. Sogno brings together a community. Simply put, I would say this place has "riss." And wow, their focaccia is impressive!

Teleport to Italy. Best chill but fancy cafe in town. BEST date spot. Best breakfast, best apero, excellent espresso, wines pair perfectly with their food. Best place to meet friends for a chat. Great location in the West Village. I'm only writing a review because they asked me to and I like them otherwise I would prefer to keep this one secret but it probably became mainstream a few months ago so maybe it doesn't matter.

A Tuscan dream The perfect spot for a morning brunch, afternoon schiatta, or evening aperitivo. Such a cozy market located on the corner in West Village. You can stock up on authentic Italian imported goodies, invite a friend, or enjoy some alone time getting work done or reading a book. The local business has an another cafe & wine bar located in Chelsea and an alternate location in Santa Monica, CA. My new favorite spot in NYC! Indoor and outdoor seating available, along with dairy free and vegetarian options. Thank you to the wonderful staff for excellent service and a delightful experience!

Came in for espresso martinis and their seating indoors and outdoors is so cute!! The martinis here are made with vermouth instead of vodka and was pleasantly surprised with how delicious they were. Will definitely be back to try coffee and the pastries!

I Absolutely loved my time at Sogno Toscano, a real Italian treasure I stumbled upon right here in the USA. As an Italian, trust me, I've got a pretty high bar for what counts as authentic Italian cuisine. It feels like a lot of places around here slap on the "Italian" label but end up catering more to American taste buds. Not Sogno Toscano, though - it's like a slice of Italy on a plate! My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful experience. The sandwiches? Absolutely divine. And the desserts? Simply heavenly. We were also incredibly touched by how welcoming Giacomo, the manager, was - a huge shoutout to him for making us feel so special. We couldn't resist; we had to go back the next day for another round of their amazing Tiramisù. If you're ever in New York, do yourself a favor and check out Sogno Toscano. They've got a couple of spots in NY and one in Santa Monica. Bravissimi!!

One of my favorite cafes in New York City for just lounging with a book or catching up with a friend. It's basically a combo of an Italian cafe with a cured meat+cheese counter. There are other Italian grocery items for sale as well (artisanal olive oil, pasta, etc.). There's the usual Italian espresso drinks, of course, and a limited menu of focaccia sandwiches and some other stuff, like pastries, a dessert or two, wine menu, etc. But it's really the *vibe*. Local West Village peeps popping in to hang out. That cute vintage scooter they put in there as a prop. The close-in seating that gives the place an intimate feel. The decor is just lovely overall. And they're open into the evening, which I love. Bathrooms: One unisex bathroom that's spacious and clean. Oddly, in the winter, it's very chilly in the bathroom. Bring a sweater with you.

Cappuccinos and coffee here are AMAZING! This place can get crowded, so go with a reservation. Even so, seating can feel a little cramped at times. I went with 4 people and they put us in a corner with a table only big enough for 2 people. Trying to eat with 4 soups and 4 sandwiches was a struggle. SERVICE: 5/5 - Cafe was super clean and servers were so nice. My friends and I came on a Saturday for lunch and didn't see the lunch special (half soup, half sandwich - $23) on the menu. The server still allowed us to order it though. Food came within 15 minutes after order. FOOD: - Deliziosa Sandwich: 5/5 - Loved this sandwich! The truffle paste really shined through. - Red Pepper Tomato Soup: 3.5/5 - Soup was average. Tasted like a typical tomato soup. I was expecting a little bit more pizzazz for the price, but the size of the soup was worth getting the lunch special! - Cappuccino: 5/5 - A MUST! Best one I've had in the city.

Although the wine was good at Sogno, the charcuterie was a big disappointment. We ordered the Pata Negra, which is a special Spanish cured ham also known as Jamón Iberico. But what we got tasted just like grocery store prosciutto, it wasnt the right meat or the right cut. For the price they charge it was disappointing.

From the wide variety of genuine ingredients you can buy to the great food/drinks they serve and everything in-between. The coffee had a nice earthy and nutty taste and the sandwich had phenomenal bread and cheese. The crust had a great crunch while at the same time having a good chew too it as well. The cheese was a creamy feta that matched well with the natural bitterness of the artichoke. We chose the apricot jam scone and it had (almost too much) of a wonderful jam inside with a great flaky bread outside. The location is also pretty spot on being in the heart of it all and pretty close to some subways. The only thing to note was the space in the restaurant which was a bit cramped. Overall I would definitely recommend them and if we were here longer it may have been our go to spot.

Tasteless dry croissants along with hot tea and iced coffee for just $30 - this can be your breakfast fare from Sogno Toscano as it was for me on my final day in NYC. If the complete disregard for taste and value of this breakfast is an indication of this company's values it might be wise to take a few steps away to one of the many fine options in the West Village. Be forewarned!

The food here is so amazing! I have been meaning to try this place for sooo long. I have always seen it be pretty busy so I decided to make a reservation and meet up with some friends. We were seated very quickly as a result but did see people waiting awhile for a table. The savory croissant beat my expectations and I would highly suggest! The ambiance is really cute especially if you're seated with a view of the window. The latte was great too and it's the perfect spot to grab a quick snack and catch up!

Sogno Toscano in New York fell short of expectations. The restaurant's small space left us feeling cramped and uncomfortable throughout our meal, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the dining experience. The lack of breathing room made it feel suffocating, overshadowing any positives about the food. Overall, not a place I would recommend for a pleasant dining experience.

Their website does not take reservations. I came on MLK day for lunch with friends and the wait was less than a half hour. They are understaffed, and it was crowded. We were there for two hours because service took a long time. Server seemed overwhelmed and forgot stuff. Tables are small as per usual in the city. You can buy products but you'd probably have to awkwardly maneuver around people's tables. I was disappointed that there was no pasta for lunch. I got the lunch special and the squash soup was sold out. I got the cappuccino,red pepper tomato soup, and half Sportiva sandwich. The cappuccino and soup were good, but I was not filled by that and the sandwich. The Sportiva has a few slices of cured beef, arugula, and artichoke paste. I didn't really like the taste. I definitely should've tried a different sandwich. The server let us split on five cards.

I feel like I am back in Italy - sogno toscano brings a piece of rome to nyc! The iced coffees are served in wine glasses so adorable. The interior is warm and friendly and Nutella croissant was to die for. Will be back to try a sandwich! Perfect Sunday morning hang

Such a five-star kinda place! Like a little cafe you'd find in Rome. Peaceful and breezy with a delicious Buffala sandwich that comes with a side salad and crispy, fresh focaccia. The sandwiches are a little expensive ($20, I know) but for an occasional taste of Italy, it'll do. 5 stars!!!

NOT WORTH THE HYPE! Simple as that. Food is subpar. You can get way better Italian elsewhere. Lastly, don't come here for baked goods. They *never have any and I'm sure they are the same as the food. It's a one and done for both locations.

::Neighborhood Kids Danger:: I remember when this used to be a bicycle shop, and I always thought it would make a great restaurant or café. So when Sogno Toscano appeared, it was a breath of fresh air. However, some fellow neighbors and I were dining here when we saw the wind blow over the wooden triangular sign in front, where it smacked down hard onto the sidewalk. A member of our group emailed them, explaining Perry Street is a popular corridor for people with children, toddlers, and babies in carriages. As such, the sign could potentially blow over and hit someone, causing the injury. As multiple emails have been ignored, I am leaving this review, which can later be found in discovery if necessary. All I can say is if that sign blows down and hurts one of our kids or grandchildren, this place will not be in business a year later.

This sandwich was DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend getting the Mediterranea -- it's an Italian-style tuna sandwich. The iced lattes were also good and came in cute wine glasses. I really enjoyed sitting outside too. The overall vibe of the restaurant is really cute and welcoming. Perfect spot for people watching! Would definitely make a great spot for a date or catching up with friends.

The staff is kind of rude...I came in as a party of 1 to eat and do some wedding planning on my ipad. I sat down took off all of my layers from the cold weather got settled and was told there is no "laptop" use during weekends. Mind you the cafe wasn't even half full so you'd think they would want the business. I understand they can have whatever policy they choose I just wish there would have been a sign or it would have been delivered better. I'm not sure how it would be bothering anyone. It left me feeling awkward that I had to pack up and leave.

Let me first say I'm willing to give the sandwiches a try (and update my review) this review is for the cheese tray only -- I love cheese trays. I get them all time all over the place. And this one was disappointing to say the least. For $28 there were 5 ounces of cheese that looked like the "odd ends" Whole Foods sells at a discount. Along with some fancy pretzels and a small slice of bread someone had cut into 4ths. No olive oil or spices. Oh there were some springy green olives (I don't like green olives) for a total of 10 ounces of food.... Not saying I wouldn't return and try the sandwiches everyone is raving about, but DEFINITELY skip the cheese plate. ** stars are for the staff and service

Have come already a handful of times for a quick drink as their wine selections are great, delicious cappuccinos and charming atmosphere. This time around I came with a little appetite and as soon as I saw this sandwich pass by I immediately had to order and so glad I did! Prosciutto, mozzarella, roasted peppers...don't get me started on that airy, soft toasty bread of theirs. Really blew me away for a sandwich. Service there is always great too, lovely helpful servers. I will definitely be back and with an appetite again!

We stopped here mid-day as a cute cafe to grab drinks and chat for a bit. The interior is nice and intimate, with the tables all set very close to each other. It was quite packed in mid-afternoon (you might have to wait a bit) and only cleared a bit near 7pm. We were excited that the iced drinks were all served in wine glasses- super cute! The staff were also all really friendly. The sandwiches look absolutely lovely- we didn't get any food this time but definitely want to come back and give them a try.

We arrived at 8:55 pm for dinner, only to be told by the guy at the check-in counter that they close at 10 pm. Then he just stopped communicating! It was so bizarre. We never even got a chance to dine in. No idea about the food, but the communication was awful. Definitely not going back.

Despite having numerous, empty outdoor tables, they will not seat you for cappuccinos, or if you are alone, even on a quiet weekday. Happened twice. Never going back! FYI, the cappuccino at Fellinii around the corner was excellent, and their staff is pleasant.

This is one of the cutest cafes I've been to in a while! I first saw this place on Tiktok and wanted to give it a try after seeing how they served their coffee drinks in wine glasses. I met up with a couple friends here on a Sunday afternoon, expecting to wait to get a table, but to my surprise they were only about half full. There was a mix of people dining and some people reading/working. The staff was very flexible about how long we stayed. I got the shakerato out of curiosity which I believe is a mix of orange juice and coffee. It was an interesting drink, but I wouldn't get it again. It had a couple orange seeds inside which was a bit disappointing. I also got the delicata sandwich which was very good. Their sandwiches are served on a focaccia like bread and they are generous with their cheese servings. The sandwiches come with a side salad as well! Overall: I'd love to come here again just to enjoy the atmosphere and try the other drinks and pastries on their menu!
