Ovo vegetarian, so dont make assumptions. The hot (maybe, theres no warmer) food section is great, biig portion, the dishes are very much like a Singaporean hawker stall, with fried kway teow and rice vermicelli. Price is a bit high ($17 per box of 3 dishes+carb) but the box is STUFFED and one box fed 2 hungry people. The savory rice balls with the youtiao is delicious too. Come if you want proper chinese vegetarian food, . I needed to ask about egg, but owner (?) said all egg usage is visible, so if something doesnt look like it's got eggs in it then its vegan, but I'd ask again just to be sure.

Google
This is an incredible place. It’s been around for 20+ years and they have more fresh tofu and soy milk than any other location I’ve ever seen. Their “chicken” Tofu is incredible and that’s my favorite. I don’t have any pictures of the deli counter they have. But they do have hot food that they serve every day with about 15 options. It’s truly an incredible place and a one of a kind place.

I often come here to buy vegetarian items and I really like their goji berries. I usually avoid the ones made in China from regular supermarkets so I prefer getting them here. They sell them in individual bags which is convenient. Their soy milk is also pretty good and I’ll get it from time to time. My favorite though is their rice ball with egg. Even though I’m not a vegetarian I enjoy picking up things like tofu, tofu skin, and their prepared veggie dishes. The bamboo shoots, pickled mustard, and radish chunks are all quite good. I also really like their spicy glass noodles.

I visited the store and a middle-aged man who claimed to be new was working there. Unfortunately, his patronizing attitude made the experience quite uncomfortable. I also purchased some soy milk and noticed something strange — even after sitting for several hours, there were no sediments. Typically, freshly made soy milk develops some sediment over time, so I suspected they had added some kind of binding agent or stabilizer. When I called to ask about this, the same employee answered and was extremely defensive. He insisted that they hadn’t added anything, but it didn’t add up given the soy milk’s appearance. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I don’t plan on going back.

Always wanted to try this place and was heavily recommended from friends. Coming to the place itself, it is very small and no dining inside. Plenty of parking spots. Coming to food choices, oo man, there are plenty of options to fill in various appetites We could even take some dim sums home as well and they looked yummy. You can take bento box as well and they looked good but couldnt try this time We tried a few : Gua bao was awesome Sticky rice roll with egg outside was Winner for me and hmm filling inside ( i think this is called fan tuan) was truly awesome Seaweed sticky rice roll was the runner up for me with so much flavor inside Spicy Tofu - This is heavenly with little bit of spiceness and flavor was awesome. We also took a bun and this was my least favorite among the all We tool taro bun and was ok Grilled scallion was decent

Google
Ask for an itemized receipt. They are 100% capable of printing one, but won't give it to you unless you ask. This is so the shop owners can sneak food items into your receipt. For example, when eaten, Chinese donuts split into two sticks, but they are sold as a SINGLE item. When you catch the manager double charging you for a Chinese donut, this is the lie he'll try to use to get out of it. They also sell expired or day-old food items. Rice rolls here are $5.99 each. They will saran wrap 3 rice rolls from yesterday and sell the lot for $10.00. Touch the plastic-wrapped foods and if they're cold, you know why. See attached screenshot for where they place expired items. Manager has a shaved head and his wife works here as well. Manager also works at Marina Foods, so now you know where he gets his bad business practices. -1 stars for dishonest business practice -1 stars for reselling packaged food as their own -1 stars for trying to sell expired food. 2 stars remaining because the food is good when it's fresh. If only it wasn't so overpriced and the manager weren't dishonest.

Google
Amazing hole in the wall mini mart to get your Taiwanese fix! Lots of small dish, traditional eats like Zhongzi, mantou, vermicelli noodles and So. Much. More. The owner is also super nice and I am probably going to come back everyday for lunch :)

Google
It’s a small gem inside a strip mall. The tasty vegetarian food makes Meatless Monday and any meatless day seems like a cinch. Their sweet offerings include some Shanghai pastries and soft cakes that are as good as I found in Hong Kong.

Yelp
It has been 2 years since my first visit here and it has remained reliable and unchanged. Still, I can look forward to the most deliciously brewed soy milk, hand made tofu products, grab & go tofu and noodle dishes in the fridge, frozen items like bao and dumplings and ready-to-go hot food too. I almost always come for the gua bao and rice balls with a side of chili oil and maybe a grab & go item from the fridge. This is a tiny mom & pop shop that really gives off that local hole in the wall vibe I feel when I'm in Taiwan. I've said this before but if I lived closer, I'd honestly be here every other day. They have so much yummy stuff to try and it's sure to nourish your craving for good, healthy food. There is no shortage of protein here! I can't wait until my next visit!

Charles L.

Yelp
Food is bad - youtiao/spring roll are too greasy, filling of spring roll is bland, mayo in the 烧饼夹肉 is yuck Operation is inefficient - everything is scattered with little to no description, and what is served is not clear. When ordering, the front desk keeps pushing us to order, and it has to follow certain direction - like if we finished ordering one section we can't go back and order - WTH? And we missed one item due to their pushing. All these came at a cost that is not cheap at all, we ordered 5-6 items and it cost us $45. Save yourself, and go to Marina foods - you can get way better quality breakfast for half of the price, and more streamlined operations.

Yelp
Sogo Tofu is the best! Everything is vegetarian and so yummy. They have very unique, homey dishes you don't typically see in Taiwanese/Chinese restaurants. I like getting their bentos where you can choose one base and a couple sides, of which my favorites are spongy gluten, bat nuts, eggplant, and seaweed knots. They also have dough-based snacks like chive pockets and Taiwanese breakfast, which sometimes runs out. Everything is reasonably priced. There's usually no line.

Yelp
You don't come to Sogo for meat items, because everything here is vegetarian. But they do a pretty dang good job of producing the Taiwanese breakfast experience, without our favorite proteins. The soybean milk is made fresh and comes in sweet and non sweet variations. You absolutely have to try the rice burrito (fan tuan), which combines sticky rice, pickled vegetables, and egg. The other pastry items are also quite delicious. It's a mom and pop shop with the old school Taiwanese feel to it. They're friendly, and I'm not sure if they speak English. Mandarin is fine. If in doubt just point.

Yelp
This is a vegetarian's dream! If you're a meat eater, you have been warned! There is no meat here! +++ A M B I A N C E +++ This place is a small take out place! They have shelves full of refrigerated food like soy milk and soups that you take and warm up at home. There is a counter where you pick what food you want in your lunch box and additional side items and then pay at the register: Chipotle style. There was a line last time we went! +++ F O O D +++ [+] Lunch Box I got 3 lunch boxes! You choose from a noodle base: spicy wide flat noodles and not spicy thin rice vermicelli! This takes up half the box. You then get 3 sides for each box! There were all sorts of things, I don't know what all of them are! There was an eggplant dish, bokchoy with bean curd, mushroom with tofu. It all tasted delicious! The portions they give is generous! [+] Green Chive Box Bun The man in line ahead of me asked me if I wanted any Green Chive Box Buns and I said yes and he said "Oh you should order first because I am going to buy whatever they have left!" How nice of him! Also of course I wanted it try one if someone thought it was so good that he was going to buy ALL of them! This was pretty tasty, I wish it had more seasoning and more egg. It had a lot of noodle but not enough chive. Unfortunately, all the food we got was room temperature. It was strange. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to take it home and warm it up or eat it at that temperature? I think it tasted better hot. [+] Soy Milk The soy milk tastes good! The sweetened soymilk is not very sweet, which is nice! The best compliment from a Chinese person hahaha. We love our minimally sweet treats hahaha. +++ S E R V I C E +++ A lot of signs are in Mandarin Chinese with English translation. They also accept credit card. The servers speak both English and Chinese, so pick whatever you are more comfortable with. It is a great place to practice your Chinese! The servers are really friendly! My husband spoke to them entirely in English and I spoke to them entirely in Chinese, so I thought it was great! +++ O V E R A L L +++ There were so many pastries in this place that I wanted to try and buy! I will definitely have to come back! Next time I will just reheat everything when I get back home! Then it will be piping hot!

Audrey ..

Yelp
Bought the frozen taro bao, frozen potstickers and soybean milk to go. The soybean milk is fresh and slightly sweet- I enjoyed it heated up and price was fair. Ordered the lunch plate to go and it reminded me of the Ranch99 deli lunch but a tad more pricey. There is only a small cafe table available to eat in store. Definitely a take out good to go place.

Yelp
We went there in the afternoon to pick up some rice balls. The store was empty. The woman at the counter didn't greet us, not even with an eye contact. We gave her our order, but she told us to get what's left on the counter. She wasn't willing to make a fresh rice ball. Then when I asked her what fillings were in those rice balls, she just tapped the flyer like she's too lazy to explain. I don't know what's wrong with this lady. She looks like the store owner but clearly did not care about customer service.

Yelp
I was on the hunt for you tiao (Chinese fried donuts/cruellers) and do fu nao (tofu soup to eat with the you tiao), and this was one of the few places that popped up. The you tiao was standard, soymilk was great, but unfortunately they didn't have the tofu soup :( Maybe the South Bay just doesn't have Northern Chinese fare because I've been searching and searching for the savory do fu nao to no avail. Alas, no worries, this place has a wide variety of other handmade goodies! AND they're all vegetarian too. Fear not fellow meat-lovers, I can vouch that all the dishes are delectable and packed with flavor, with no two dishes tasting the same. We got their home made soy milk and black sesame milk. It comes both pre-sweetened or not sweet- I opted for not sweet so I can adjust my own levels of sugar. We also got a to go box of noodles and three entrees which paired perfectly alone or with porridge. The flavors reminded me of home, and by home I meant China so they're super authentic. The prices are a bit higher than other places, but very reasonable when you consider they're all made by hand in small batches and the quality of ingredients involved. If you're looking to support a neighborhood mom and pop shop, and want to eat some delicious Chinese vegetarian sides, go visit this shop now.

Yelp
A place selling all kinds of traditional Chinese homemade food. the taste is great and the price is reasonable. will come back!
google avatar

Shirin B.

Yelp
Please support this local business my fellow vegetarian and tofu lovers!! It's a little pricey but those extra dollars will pay off when you realize everything is handmade and going to a business that you want to keep in the area!! My absolute favorite breakfast item is a fan Tuan and they sell them all day long - again completely vegetarian with veg "pork" floss, which is sometimes hard to find. Their freshly squeezed soymilk has me in a chokehold and I will no longer be purchasing Silk or anything of that sort. So delicious. I also really like their tofu and soy skin options (not a fan of their seaweed it felt too ocean-tasting to me) but their buns and dumplings are not to be missed! My favorite is their mushroom/spinach bun! So so good, and you can be sure to get tons of clean vegetarian protein options.

Yelp
Vegetarian or not, try this place! Don't be intimidated by its authenticity, despite almost everything being in Mandarin the owner speaks Cantonese and English as well. Came here Sunday around 9am and got the purple rice fan tuan and the egg fan tuan. Both were delicious but I preferred the egg version slightly more as the purple rice was a little hard in some places. I swear for both I tasted pork floss, which can't be true considering everything here is vegetarian. Whatever substitute they used was spot on though. Both came out to around $10, which initially felt a little on the higher end but when compared to other breakfast options like diner food or avocado toast, it's actually really affordable. They have a lot of other breakfast, lunch, and dessert items as well. The egg tarts really caught my eye as they are the only place I've seen in the area that does the huge flaky version that I usually have to go to Oakland or SF for. They're a little expensive though at almost $3 each. I used to live literally down the block from this place and I'm kicking myself for not giving them a try till now as it would've been the perfect quick breakfast on so many occasions. Despite the distance I will still try to be back--I really want to try the soy milk!

Yelp
Rude and unfriendly staff, tasteless food! I miss the earlier owners. They were friendly, and the food used to be awesome. They would explain what a dish was, if you could not recognize it. Sometimes they would share recipes for some of the ingredients. Even in the refrigerated section, the food used to taste really good. Not worth a visit anymore.

Yelp
A great hidden gem in Silicon Valley. This is a mom and pop shop that sells fresh soy products as well as authentic Taiwanese food. I didn't know such places still exists. My only complaint are the prices. It's easily 2-3x more than what I pay for in LA. You can easily spend $50+ here just grabbing a few items. Portions are small. Not all prices are listed and you don't get an itemized receipt. I'm still grateful for these type of businesses and will treat them as splurge visit. With that mindset,I come and leave happy!

Ward H.

Yelp
Ask for an itemized receipt. They are 100% capable of printing one, but won't give it to you unless you ask. This is so the shop owners can sneak food items into your receipt. Yelp
Always delicious vegan food from this place, the lunch/dinner special is always a good deal, so much food you think you will burst. Don't eat it all in one seating.

Yelp
After having this on my list for a long time, finally got to check it out and I love it! Vegetarian options galore. Even if you're not into vegeterian food, I'd highly recommend Sogo. Chinese vegeterian protein or mock meat is so good. So I was able to get a bunch of sides for the week. They also have my favorite radish su bing in the area. This place reminds me of Jenny's Kitchen but vegetarian. It'll def be on my go-to list in a busy week. I was there on a day when a number of their popular things were sold out. I look forward to trying their fan tuan next time!

Theresa C.

Yelp
I love their fuan tuan and soy milk. What a great hole in the wall! The owner is very sweet and helpful.
google avatar

Wendi K.

Yelp
Pricey, but everything in the bay is. They have so many of my favorite items - Jian Bing, You Tiao, Bean Curd Noodles, Mung Bean Pastries, Fan Tuan. It's all hot and fresh too!! Small mom and pop shop, the owners are also so friendly. Walk up to counter and point at what you want My haul this time was: 4x Assorted Fan Tuan (Sticky Rice Rolls, they make breakfast ones with egg too) 1x Mung Bean Pastry 2x Jian Bing (HUGE, and they were still warm) 2x Cold Tofu Side Dishes ($6.99 each) 9 items came out to be more than $50. Free soy milk if you spend this much!

Yelp
I love this place! It's pretty good value for the price, they give you a TON of food. The bao are so good.

Yelp
Now that the weather is early Spring-like, I'm eager to drive my new car and explore. Vegan Taiwanese food but the food isn't piping hot. You're supposed to take it home and heat it up. The lady at the counter was very resistant to change. She said that she would charge me $16 for three items at the cold bar. I saw that the portion sizes of the three items were huge. I told her that I just wanted to try a variety of things and I wasn't interested in large portions. I was really there for the novelty. She finally relented when I told her that she would end up saving money because I just wanted tablespoon sized servings of six items. Now I know what a vegan Din Tai Fung would taste like. It was good but I'm not inclined to return because there's nowhere to sit, and even if there were the food is cold

D C.

Yelp
The prices have gone up many times in the last few months, much faster than inflation. Things are very much overpriced, much more than other take out places. I think you can get better value for your money elsewhere.
google avatar

Kavya G.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The eggplant dish I had was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten in my life! I was only visiting and am sad that I'll probably never get to eat there again but the food was so good and I'm so glad I got to eat there!
google avatar

Yelp
I have been to many vegetarian and vegan asian food places. Some were great but this one was not the one for me. The food was not inedible, but it was not good either. I had a combo with noodles, tofu skin, eggplant and green beans with tofu and an order of bao. Tofu skin was probably the better of all items. Everything was cold and when I asked for the chili oil or any other way to spice things up, I was offered a chili oil container at the cost of $6. They also do not let you split between rice and noodles in half portions or let you try or describe the dish to get an idea of what things may taste like. The person taking the order and giving the food was borderline rude. I did not expect her to smile and be warm or welcoming, but I believe that there is always a respectful way of talking to customers, which was missing. I loved that there was a of variety of food options to buy but in terms of flavor of the food taste, food freshness and customer service, I would say it lacked big time.

Shin-Huei C.

Yelp
東西味道不錯,但櫃檯結帳的女士態度很差,催促客人且說話很沒禮貌。Food is ok,I like their soy milk, sadly their service is horrible.I ordered 2 bentos for lunch today, the lady in counter is very rude.

Yelp
Long line around 11:00-12:00 Saturday, 2 -3 customers in store at a time. Be ready what you want to order before you walk in the store and also take your time if you are first time visiting:-) I am currently on diet. My doctor told me not to eat dairy and fruit for first two months...I bought different kinds of dry tofu, soy milk(non suger) and lunch ( Chinese medicine tofu藥膳) vegetable tofu roll. If you like oily for lunch, then bento is the first choice, if you want to try traditional Taiwanese breakfast, then try what they have on front desk( fried break stick+ clay oven rolls燒餅油條, rice ball飯糰+ bao ) just check what they have at side desk and back desk...

Yelp
Such a hidden gem The lady working was super nice - we came on a Sunday morning at 9am and bought all our fave Taiwanese breakfast items: - purple rice ball - sticky rice ball - egg rice ball All have Chinese donuts and pickled mustards - soy milk - liang mien - egg tarts All yummy and definitely affordable. Big plus is they take card. The lady offered us some free cups so we could take out soy milk to the beach If you enjoy supporting small businessss and looking for some bomb TaiwAnese breakfast check em out

Yelp
5 on 5 stars. Hidden gem! Organic fresh tofu made daily. Nothing store bought can compare. Melts in your mouth. You can eat it raw! Fresh black soy milk. Unsweetened! Excellent Chinese desserts that are lightly sweetened. Fresh bento box with a choice of rice noodles or rice and lots of veggie stir fries, tofu and other savory dishes. Excellent! Strict social distancing. Only one patron or family is allowed at a time. Owner is friendly and has been around for 17 years. For the best tofu, veggie Chinese, fresh tofu, soy milk, desserts, hot sauces and all your fixes, made with love and packed full of flavor, head on down to SJ. Plenty of parking for deliciousness that is guaranteed

Diana C.

Yelp
Every time I'm in the South Bay with my family, we always make it a point to go on a Sogo pilgrimage to stock up on their frozen veggie bao buns and black sesame bao buns, which make for quick and easy meals - the veggie bao buns in particular are *so* delicious pan fried that a number of our family members regularly drive down from SF just to restock the freezer. We also love the unsweetened soy milk and always get a lunch box to share - which is enough food to feed the 3 of us for lunch, and so tasty! So spoiled that a Taiwanese vegetarian spot like this exists.

Jane Z.

Yelp
If I could, I would give "0" star. The store sold the spoiled soybean milk. The owner was rude and denied the fact and even accused the customer. This store has had sold poor quality vegetarian food for a long time, but use the " organic" labels. Food are just displayed on the counter without cover, and all the bean curd produce in refrigerator are without expiration dates.

Yelp
HOW have I not found out about Sogo Tofu until now?!?!? Thank you to Studio Zucchero for introducing me, since I came to pick up my box from them! Sogo Tofu was fairly busy at 2:45pm on a Saturday, and a good amount of customers were coming in and out. They recommend only 2 parties in the store at a time, and customers were pretty good about complying. However, once you get into the store, it's more of a free for all. They have arrows on the floor to guide people in one direction, but then you can't look at the refrigerated section on the right hand side of the store before you pay if you follow the arrows... A good amount of the items were labeled, but there are SO many options it was a little overwhelming for a first timer like me. They had frozen baos, dumplings, various tofu appetizers, soy milk, hot dishes, desserts, and lots of other items that would be too long to list (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=AJgE7fGJ23guI6gUKnhJPg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=E6a4PUy1rAbv2JMcOuyrIQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). For this trip, I ended up trying: -Egg Pancake ($4.49, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=umRVgV_vq1eC5tuGhJrFJA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Yum- fresh and flavorful. The pancake was soft but a little chewy, and there was plenty of egg- recommended! -Egg Tart ($2.29, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=FlCnAi3BvKvRewXZK58EhQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Solid egg tart, but the filling could have used a touch more sweetness. However, the crust was buttery and flaky. -100 Soy ($6.99, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=l2qB7fK_rI-2ELvtGBQy4w&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Surprisingly really good! I liked the texture of this- chewy, but with substance and not too dense. It was flavorful without being salty, and had a hint of spice. The owners were really nice, and I'll need to come back to try more of their items! Parking in this plaza was easy since spots are plentiful.

Yelp
A lot of healthy choices plant based food. Choices of buns from veggies mushroom to nuts high fibers wholegrains. Black rice appetizer, herbal bread and plant based entree are available. Tofu and soymilk. There's a lot refrigerated traditional Taiwanese Chinese food. Also some dried fruits longan & goji berry. The store filled up with a lot of good food. Came here 10-12 years ago and now moved back to town recognized different owners. This owner are very nice and there's prices on the wall. High quality ingredients but still affordable. Mom pop shop owner by an elderly friendly man and a lady. A good choice to live healthy.

Yelp
We arrived right at opening. Door was open so we went in. Workers were in the kitchen but lights in the front area was not on yet. Cashier arrived, turn on the lights, was not very friendly, expected us to order right away and irritated at our questions. Bought Fauntan - rice roll. Took it home to eat. All 3 type we bought had rancid oil smell to them. Maybe it's the type of oil used. It was not pleasant. We were disappointed. It will be our first and only visit.

Yelp
The black rice roll was well done with pickles and pork floss. They have a pink version too but I can't tell what flavor it is. Most people seem to come here for fresh typical Taiwanese breakfast eats: baked flatbread with dough stick and egg (aka shao bing you tiao). Owner and wife was really nice, and spoke English just fine. It's a small takeaway shop with one table. But you can eat at the food court nearby if you can't wait. Their little round papery pastries were really good too. There's savory like radish, and sweet ones like green bean, red bean, wife cake..etc. Green bean was the sweetest! Their steamed mantou buns on the side looked so interesting with goji berries, they have them fresh on the racks or wrapped on the side. I would get them next time.

Yelp
Tofu for the win! There is such a wide variety of interesting dishes that you can make from soybeans, and Sogo Tofu really brings out the best in this special ingredient. Keep in mind that all the dishes here are vegetarian and Taiwanese -- the best of both worlds, in my opinion. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner (takeout only). You can get all sorts of goodies including soybean milk, pancakes, tofu skin, beancurd strips, rice rolls, chinese doughnuts, etc etc. The hot dishes change up pretty frequently as well. I especially like the vegetable fried rice that you can order with the bento boxes. It's not displayed though, so be sure to ask for it. Some of the hot dishes were a little on the salty side though, which is why the four stars instead of five. Totally worth it to keep coming back for my Taiwanese vegetarian fix though!

Yelp
A truly traditional taiwanese restaurant with other Chinese food that is not only delicious but also made to be healthy for your body n mind.

Michelle H.

Yelp
One star for effort! UNAPPETIZING COLD FOOD THAT WILL MAKE YOU SICK! Don't go there, just get a frozen meal from the super market and you will be happier and healthier. Customer No Service, with even worse food, sitting around for hours, hopefully not days! Bring your own fork and fire, because the food is cold and there are no forks. Also, bring a picnic chair and table, no seating areas. Perhaps it's just not worth going, will destroy your day, week, and any interest in this kind of food. Get ready for $16 FOR COLD AND RUINED FOOD!

Yelp
Not bad for my first try. I got fried tofu, seaweed covered fan tuan, gua bao, and seasoned tofu slices. I like them all. Service was fast and friendly. The place was a bit small.

Yelp
Shao bing (flaky flatbread with sesame seeds), you tiao (Chinese doughnut), cai bao (spinach bun), dan bing (egg pancake) and hot organic soy bean milk (sweetened or unsweetened). Almost like being in Taiwan! It's all I needed for breakfast today. Also purchased one shaobing with lettuce, egg, mayo, tofu to try. It was a little heavy on the mayo. If you want steamed buns (to steam at home, they had a lot of different ones in the refrigerators). Too many things to try so I guess we'll have to just go back another day. Sesame green onion pancakes were not available in the morning, only at lunch time.

Yelp
Been going here for a while, but today the lady in the cashier was very rude. We always ordered a cup of 豆浆 (~soy milk), but today she didn't want to, and instead forced us to buy the whole bottle, which ok. Much better when the boss was around. Taste is always good though.

Yelp
Returner there for another visit, and food was excellent as always. They open early so it is an option for vegetarian Chinese breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
Im really addicted to this place! No frills service, but the veg food can't be beat. It is Credit card only --slightly annoying, but so very very worth it!

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem!!!!! I LOVE tofu so much and I'm so happy there's a store nearby that specializes in all things tofu, Taiwanese style. The store stocks tons of freshly made soymilk, black rice milk (delicious), and plenty of packaged side dishes. They also have so many frozen bao options and even fresh fan tuan in the mornings (the furikake one is really yummy). Their lunch special is a steal - I was able to split that with a friend for lunch and left feeling SO full. I always stop by here if I need a quick meal, snack, or just to stock up on some fresh soymilk!

Yelp
If I can give a 0 star I would. Arrogant staff. Misunderstood my order and refused to refund or give me the right item. Charged me way more than it should be. I will never come back again.

Yelp
The sticky rice ball was good, at par or even better than Marina's. The rice pudding was meh, too soft and mushy for my liking, I like them to be a bit more "chewy". The price is ok for me, but my friend from LA thinks the price is outrageously high - both items cost us ~$9.

Yelp
Great option for togo! Advertised as non-gmo tofu. It can get crowded on the weekends and the line goes outside. Food is not cheap but they definitely have a following! Frozen buns, ready made combo meals, plus miscellaneous authentic items.

Yelp
Amazing little hole in wall that has incredible vegetarian Taiwanese food. I think vegetarian peeps go nuts for this place. It is great that they have such a variety for all those who choose to not eat meat, or have it as an option. There is NO seating in here, so you have to just take it to go and find somewhere else to eat. Their rice wraps around Chinese fried donut and egg on top is really yummy. They have these amazing spinach bao zi hot from the oven that you have to order in 6. They have a large variety of freezer items that you can also order and stick in the freezer and heat up to eat for any time of the day! A great perk about this place is also that they have soy milk!! Now this is not just a carton of soy milk. This is authentic (as authentic as you can get around here in the States), delicious, soy milk. It comes in the fridge section in the gallon or quarter of gallon, or you can also get a cup of it hot in their coffee pots (which they use for soy milk). Service unfortunately was not so great. The employee behind the counter was extremely rude, not very friendly and did not give us much attention. It would be good if there were more specification on prices, because I felt after I did not get to clarify when I just saw a total on my receipt, rather than each item I had purchased. Make sure to double check when you are there to make sure all the pricing is correct.

Yelp
Open during pandemic. Parking lot available. This is a vegetarian Taiwanese place to pick up to go. We got the purple sticky rice roll, black soy milk, and bento box for around 23$ The sticky rice was very filling, with chinese doughnut, pork floss, preserve veggies inside, hint of spicy. Black soy milk was a little bland. Bento box was good, one side of noodles with 3 sides. The sides were flavorful and fresh. Would come back since there's still a lot of items to try!
