I was in town and stopped in to get my nails and toes done based off the ratings. I do an acrylic overlay with gel. I have for years so all I needed was a fill and new gel. The next day my fingers were a little sore but I didn’t think much of it. Day 2 after getting my nails done I had what appeared to be 7 ingrown finger nails. I started epsom salt soaks which helped some while others were getting worse. By day 4 I had to go to the urgent care due to my entire hand being warm and achy. I could no longer bend my middle finger from the swelling and it was throbbing horribly. The urgent care had to NUMB MY FINGER, CUT IT OPEN DOWN MY NAIL BED TO DRAIN THE INFECTION, FOLLOWED BY A WEEK OF ANTIBIOTICS!!! Being from a different state and the health insurance working different in California, this cost me almost $400 in medical bills on top of paying for my nails, toes, and leaving a tip. So around $570 for a horrible infection. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! The pictures are a day after my finger was drained and I was started on antibiotics.

I did my Nails with Gina. I m from republic of Georgia, i am a musician and nails are pretty big deal for me. since i moved i tried multiple places and was truly afraid for my nails, i get gel nails. Whole salon/spa was very nice and clean, everyone is very welcoming. Gina did amazing job with my nails and cuticles. I m 110% satisfied will be going back for sure. Thank you Gina for such pretty Gel manicure

Thoroughly enjoyed speaking to Trang as the team of nail technicians worked on my friend and I. Very caring and courteous people. Enjoyed our spa package mani pedis. Truly great service. Will definitely be back.

This has to have been the BEST Mani - pedicure I have had in years! The place is centrally located yet quite and clean .The staff is beyond amazing, super friendly and very detail oriented. I had a pedicure with Tracy and she did an absolutely amazing job. I would definitely suggest spending the extra change on and additional massage. She had me sleeping in her chair. Definitely, very strongly recommend!

It was my first time there and definitely not my last. I was very satisfied with my pedicure and manicure. Cost is reasonable. I highly recommend SoHo nails.

They’re so incredibly kinda and gentle here. Wonderful pricing and prompt service. However - Stick with basic colors. No designs. I asked for a black chevron tip on all my nails and not a single line is even remotely straight/even.

I decided to give dip power a try for the first time and I am not disappointed. The owner did my nails and he was extremely nice. He's also very meticulous when doing your nails, which I appreciate. They came out so nice!

I didn't enjoy my time at this place I don't know his name but 'He' when getting my nails done it took longer than it should have due to not following what I wanted and not being able to complete my entire request for what I wanted for the design on my nails. I was there for HOURS watching Him trying to do a proper French tip with a u line over the top, if it weren't for me telling them not to do it (since they obviously can't do it) I wouldn't been there wayy longer. Not only that the place as a whole seemed to upcharge me by not properly explaining the options that were provided in the service I paid 75$ for short/medium almond shape gel acrylics with thick French tips it was not worth it in my opinion. hell no to this place.

Lyn has been doing my nails for a few years now and theres a reason i only go to her. Shes so fast and skilled with her gel x nails. Even tho she works fast, she always does an amazing job. She's also very understanding and listens well to what kind of nails I want. I usually get my nail inspo on pintetest and she does it exactly how the pictures are. I don't plan on going to anyone else for nails.

Seriously this place totally sucks! The service is terrible. The nail polish, base coat and top coat they used is old sticky. The nail polish never dried. The next day both fingers and toe nails were all mushed. $40 for a basic manicure and pedicure is insane especially when it is done badly. She made excuses about my nails having ridges. Then why didn't she buff them! Place smells badly too. I don't believe they clean their tools either. Overall a gross experience. Don't waste your money,

Not a great experience. Place wasn't the cleanest. The towels they were using were dirty and the tools didn't look like they been disinfected prior to use. There was not even a minute of massage in the regular mani. Just slapped on some lotion and ended it. My biggest concern was that the lady doing my nails was removing excessive cuticle. She was just chopping away and I don't even have deep or hard cuticles. Today woke up with sore skin around my nails. One of even red because of the deep excessive removal of skin. Was my first time here and would rather pay 10-20 dollars more to go to a cleaner more professional place instead of getting average service at a low price

Don't get this lady for pedicures she will take literally 1:30 arrived at 2:05 it's almost 4:pm and this lady is still working on me I got a sore ass for sitting so damn long if you're in a rush don't get her

I love it. I was half sleep, wish I had the energy to appreciate Gina's amazing work more! She's a sista ;) next time I get my claws done I won't Netflix binge watch all night so we can have girl chat!!! Such a great energy, worked good for a shaky hand like me. Nice attitude and ambience.

Gina is a boss. Came in to get a gel fill and fix 3 broken nails. It's Fourth of July and she and one trainee, who was doing all the pedicures, were the only ones in the shop! This woman is a true hustler. She was trying to do 3 customers at the same time, keep track of their requests, train the other technician, and answering the phones. She's very meticulous and chill conversationalist. Their gel selections are bomb as well! Every was color coded which made me want to hug the woman lol. I'd definitely come back here seeing that the customer service is great, selection is great, and considering the circumstances, she was professional. I say this because an earlier patron was being snappy at her because she was in a rush and being very rude to her despite praising Gina and the other tech how awesome of a job they did. I got to see her nails and they were beautiful as well.

I went today for my first time & I had such a nice experience! Everyone was friendly & welcoming! I got my nails done with Tracy & she did an amazing job! I'm starting my nail growth journey & she suggested I do Cal Gel nails & they came out so good! Thank you Tracy!

I am very disappointed in the quality of products this salon used for my gel fill in and pedicure. I paid $60 for a gel nail fill in and pedicure. The staff seemed pleasant but very eager to sell me on different products. I just wanted my nails filled. Within the first week my nails began to chip. I returned assuming it was an anomaly ( this has never happened to me in two years of manicures and pedicure every two weeks) to get my nails repainted. But just two days later they began to chip again in addition to the acrylic visibly separating from my nails due to the improper fill-in. ----- A bartender glanced at my nails and said "Oh they used cheap gel polish"... that happens. I was embarrassed to say the least. Patronize at your own risk.

After trying many nail spas in LA (downtown & east) I always come back here. The service is great, greeted the moment you walk in. Great communication. I was worried I would have to wait a while since I didn't have an appointment and it was a weekend. My mom and I were helped and loved our nails. Will definitely come here regularly!!

Decent place! Only reason I didn't give them the full 5 stars was the pricing confusion. Charged $30 for a "spa pedicure" that includes the callous removal and things that I find usually included in the regular pedicures at other places. Asked for gel polish, but that would have been $22 more...slightly ridiculous if you ask me. Otherwise, the people were friendly enough, there was a HUGE selection of OPI, and the quality of the pedicure itself was good thanks to Ken's artistry. It's a week later and everything still looks good!

Gina did my mani/pedi and I was completely satisfied. She was sweetest person and made sure I really loved my nails. Thank you Gina!

I've been going to Gina for eight years. She's the absolute best. We always work together to make my nail art idea come to life.

They scheduled my appountment for 2 pm and They made me wait 1 HOUR!!! Worst place ever do not go there ever!!!

First time getting a pedicure, was only hoping to pay $15 since it was advertised mani pedi was $30 outside. I told them that I wanted just a regular pedicure and pointed at the page. When they finished, they told me it was 30 just for my feet...they upgraded me to the spa option. they didn't even do that good of a job and left a few of my toenails longer than the others and also the edges are sharp. wish I saw the reviews before I went. Also noticed that they don't clean their tools like they're supposed to and they definitely don't clean their foot bath. Gross! Definitely a rip off and I'm sure they are aware of what they're doing.BEWARE!!!!!!AVOID THIS PLACE.

They charged me $55 for a gel pedicure and the lady was extremely heavy handed and rude, she kept rushing to charge me and didn't even fully explain why it cost that much...a deluxe pedicure is $30 but she claims they charge an extra $25 just for a gel add on... when it should've just been the $25 because I didn't ask for deluxe. I just wanted a basic gel pedicure. I wouldn't have been so angry about the prices if the lady wasn't so heavy handed. I had to stop her multiple times to say this hurts when she was clipping my cuticles and gripping my foot too hard. Salons just opened and I was hella excited to go back but this is ridiculous

Always friendly and make the effort to get me in and out based on my hectic schedule. Also the gel manicures are always PERFECT and last waaaayyy longer than any other studio I've found around town.

Be careful not to get hustled. Although the pedicure was very good the pricing was not made clear beforehand. It is $20 for a regular pedicure and then $10 for "three extras" which were never explained to me until I got the bill. Instead, she asked if I want callous removal which I said yes to. What I didn't know is that also added $10 for some kind of leg mask I never asked for. If someone says yes to pedicure and callous removal, that is all they should be charged for. I am not a fan of doing things without my permission. So, if you do go here make sure they break down the charges and be very specific about what it is you want. Otherwise, the pedicure was good.

This place is magical. Prior to coming in, I had feet and toes that even my mother couldn't bare to look at. Now I feel like it sociably acceptable to wear sandals again. Clean (the place, but also my feet post-pedicure), friendly, and thorough. The foot rubs didn't hurt either.

Horrible! Paid 60 dollars with tip for a fill. Same day a nail broke. Went back to get it fixed and the lady wasn't there. There was only one lady that clearly did not want to help. She told me it would take 45 mins to fix 1 nail!!! There was another lady with no customers but she did not bother to help. I went down the street to harmony nails and they fixed it within 10 mins. There are way better nail places a few feet away with good customer service. Don't bother with this place!

Worst service here. Had to file my own nails, when asked for square square.Mani/pedi lasted about five days.

I'm posting this warning so that hopefully someone else doesn't go in there thinking they're actually only going to pay $30 for a mani-pedi. Mine, with gel, came up to $70. Yes, SEVENTY DOLLARS. No acrylics, just basic mani pedi with gel. No scrubs or soaks, no hot towel, no bells, no whistles. SO when I wanted my 4 year old to get a basic mani-pedi too, it totalled $97 for both of us. No gel for her. Basic. The guy had to do my big toe twice because the first time he did it, it was clumpy and looked like shit. Then he made me feel HORRIBLE about asking him to redo it so that it looked smooth and started talking about me in their language. He was very angry about it, talked in "that" language the entire rest of my pedicure, that's always nice. Oh, and it STILL looks like shit even after the second time he did it. I put up a picture of it. The guy who did my mani was amazing. Not $100 amazing though. I honestly feel robbed. They need to put a vomit bag by the register. Some tissues as well. EDIT- Note the shitty reply from management. "Don't come here if you can't afford it", he says.... Chris, do you think that makes you look professional? Like you care that someone left there extremely upset? By calling me CHEAP? Please do some research on customer service. I blasted you on facebook too, and out of 15 friends replying, only ONE was not surprised. I also told my client in Beverly Hills and she referred me to her nail salon, guaranteeing less of an expense. So if it's location you think we're paying for, you are wrong. Also, let me side note that BECAUSE 4 people "worked" on us (my daughter was 10 minutes tops) I also tipped 20 bucks. It was mainly because I loved the gentleman who did my nails. I can afford the cost, my beef was that because I didn't accept clumpy, shitty toes, it got VERY uncomfortable. The fact that they let me leave there with a crap job for $100 bucks is what got them one star. So thanks for the shitty, condescending, flippant reply to my review. This only made your business look worse. I also uploaded a pic under your shop of my clumpy toes. That will teach you to let people leave a mess, and leave snooty replies.

My last two trips to LA I've had the pleasure of having my hands and feet spoiled by Gina at SoHo Nails. She is the Zohan of nail work. Trust me, walking around the dirty sidewalks of DT LA you need to get your feet serviced and loved. That's where SoHo comes into play. *The salon is always super clean and everything is sterile. *I'm always greeted with a smile and never have to wait. *Great prices and amazing nail work. BONUS- You must get a pedicure from Gina. She knows how to rub feet like nobody's business and always makes my nails look divine. The compliments keep comin'. FYI I don't get any of that frilly nail art like that bloated, Cheetos colored Snooker's or Rihanna might rock, but I know Gina offers it. They have all the top brand polishes to choose from, too. Me? I choose my polish by the polish name usually. Latest lust is Vampsterdam by OPI. What are you waiting for? Take your nasty, dry, broke ass feet down to SoHo right now! You will feel like a new person or at least your feet will.

This place does not disinfect their tools. They do not clean the foot spa's or the chairs after each customer. Gel manicure looks terrible.

I thought that SoHo Spa Nails was over-priced for the quality of my nail work that I had asked for. They rushed through my nail work and I wasn't happy with the outcome. After trying another nail salon, I realized that the quality difference between this salon and the current salon that I have become loyal too. At least, they are nice and the service is good. Other than that, if I'm going to pay more money for nails, it's important to me that you take your time and that your work is quality. I came and showed them a picture of what I wanted and thought I was pretty specific in how I wanted it to look. They said that they could grant my request but it wasn't at all what I had asked for. It seemed like a cheaper version of my request to be honest. At least the Cal-gel lasted long but that's not the salon, that's the product. It was clean at least and they were on top of their service, but I don't think I'll be coming back.

Was in the area and wanted a mani pedi so came here again. There was just no service and blah attitude. I walk in and there's no greeter. Finally someone noticed me and says, go pick your color. The guy who did my nails basically just grunted at me when he wanted to communicate. He did not assist me to turn on the massager even though I was visibly trying to figure out where the remote was. The only time he did talk was when I said, please do not cut my cuticle and he said, you sure? I had to say PLEASE, NO several times. He did my pedicure first, meaning that my nails were wet and I couldn't leave for a long time, plus he did not provide a fan for drying either! I will not be back.

I'm happy with my toes, my hand nails not so much. I showed them exactly what I wanted for my hand nails,(it included a heart on blue polish with white stripes). Well they were pushing for charms to be glued on rather than drawn. They seem bothered when I said no to the charms...My manicurist told me he preferred the charms because drawing hearts took too long. (That sounds like a personal problem to me). I wasn't very pleased with his justification, because I was very clear in what I wanted. So he did the hearts, not the best drawn hearts but hearts none the less. I walked out of their exhausted, both my manicurist and pedi lady wouldn't talk stoping. I don't expect complete silence, but please don't have full blown conversations right next to my ear for 2 hours. Unfortunately I won't be coming back here for my hands nails. For pedi, I might reconsider.

Go see Stacy! This place is wonderful. They are clean and very friendly. I've never had to wait to be seen either. They clean up your cuticle really nicely! Sometimes too close, but just ask them to do less cuticle cleaning and they will. They listen to what you want and execute! I highly recommend. Will be coming back to Stacy FOR SURE!

There were a group of six that got our nails done for wedding. We each got charged different prices and we got the same services. They were rushing and did a sloppy job. One of my friends fingernails were bleeding due to harsh rubbing. It is overprice and poor service.

Sat my feet in cold water waiting for services for an hour. Place is dated and old, they don't even use plastic for the foot bowl. Go somewhere else.

I have been to SoHo 3 different times for fills on my acrylic nails. Each time, the length, shape, and upkeep of my nails has been on point. Every person who works there is friendly, talented, and accommodating. I especially like this spa because I can make an appointment that they honor with little to no wait, and I feel relaxed and not rushed during my visit. The polish and designs are always perfect looking and last until my next fill. I'd say my only wish is that they have more trendy, playful designs to offer to guests, but when I show them a photo of how I want my nails to look they are always eager to work with my design vision. Each of my visits has taken at least an hour and a half so you need to make sure to plan ahead! I usually spend between $30 and $35 with tip.

First off love that there is a parking structure. It's one hour free validation but if you ask them I think they also give you 2 hrs free. The inside is real clean and set up nicely. Everyone is real sweet and helpful. I've gotten a pedicure there once a while ago and I was real pleased. It was done perfectly and the color lasted a long time. They have great color selections, both gel and regular polish. Got gel mani there not too long ago from Mindy, and I love the way she shaped my nails! Out of my whole nail experience Mindy did the best job for shaping it. As far as the work not sure because it looks a bit bumpy and not quite smooth. I'm not sure if it's just because my natural nails or because I have bad nails to begin with but because she shaped it so well I'll be glad to go back and give it another try. Price is affordable and the staff are real friendly. My fave nail salon in downtown!

I found Soho when I first moved to DTLA a year ago. I was nervous about finding a new nail place because I had been so happy with my place in Beverly Hills, but after meeting Mindy and Gina, I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I have brought in pictures from Vogue and W magazines with different trends and colors and they have been able to recreate the same look the first time. I usually request Gina to do my gel manicures and Mindy to do my pedicure at the same time so I can get out on a lunch break. They are both so professional, friendly and artistic with such an attention to detail and time, that I have never had an issue. Not to mention, even on the most stressful, busy days, these two are always smiling and radiating positive energy. When I found out that Gina also has done lashes for years working with some of the top celebrities, I decided to try it out. Since I don't have a lot of time, I like doing lash extensions and gel nails because I don't have to do much in the morning to get ready for work and it gives me more time to meditate and workout. It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to keep her a secret so I could always get in to see her, but she is so amazing, I have to share.

I don't like leaving anything negative and I understand that nail places want to take in as many customers as possible but I am not too happy. I don't care waiting while the nail person goes back and forth to clients. However to rush so that my paint is on my toe skin isn't cool and I did ask if it could be fixed. The lady didn't understand what I said and I didn't understand her. That's fine but you could see the nail polish on my skin. I could paint my toes better. Also my nail was cut jagged. I was not a walk in, I made an appointment. Maybe it was just a random bad pedicure. But only go to the owner or the lady that seemed like the owner.

You know I really liked this place before.... before I got a toe infection from a pedicure. I called and asked if I can get a free service (the price of my pedicure which was $30) dollars and they said no. Only a basic manicure that got $17. I got extremely upset because not only does that not cover the cost of the botched pedicure I got... I also have Doctor bills to pay because they had to drain out the pus.... the nail tech digged into my nail beds toooooooooo much to take care of an ingrown nail.

Good: - Mindy. She's very sweet and thorough with her work. - Friendly staffs. - 1 hour free validated parking. Not so Good: - Haven't had bad experience yet.

It's been a few months since I've been able to come in as it's not close and my schedule was busy which led me to go to two other salons that ended up being a mistake! But I'm finally back for a much needed maintenance! Kelly is sweet and great, I def recommend her. Billy did my nails for the first time and I enjoyed him. I'm super picky about nail salons as it is SO difficult to find a good one. I've even contemplated opening my own! But this one offers good service and reasonable prices.

Always satisfied with their service,friendly and courtesy. Tried other places but ended up coming back to this place. Gina is one the best nailist. She has a great sense of design and is very knowledgeable which color to use to fit my design.

SoHo Spa Nails is located by Weller Court, but it's not part of Weller Court. Parking is on San Pedro Street, south of 1st Street and north of 2nd Street. I've been here on a few occasions. There's usually no wait. The girls are very attentive and friendly.

I was crunched on time and had to get my gel nails off and a new coat on. Gina was absolutely wonderful, I was a walk in and she got me quickly taken care of. I am trying to grow out my nails and two of them were cracked and she fixed the cracks at no additional cost. With the speed at which she got my gels done I was surprised how amazing and flawless they look! I will be coming here on all my future needs when in DTLA.

I love nail designs and art and, I'm very specific and picky. My friend took me there the first time about 2 year ago and I was a regular. I stopped going there because the girl that used to do my mani was super good but she had some really serious ATTITUDE PROBLEMS. Well, if you're a regular, tips well and you're nice to them, that's the last thing you'll will expect. But moving on, went back there after almost a year and found this precious lady... MINDY is fantastic, very creative, she always finds a solution to make the design that I want and, she does a really great job, mani and pedi, gel and regular. Cathy is great too, every time I had my mani/ pedi done by her I was super happy too. I highly recommend MINDY, she's amazing and super sweet. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the unpleasant experiences I had, but overall this place is great.

The service itself was fine. But beware of predatory extra charges. Without asking for my permission or letting me know that there were any extra fees, the woman doing my pedicure told me that she would give me "something special." That something special cost me an additional $10. I never asked for a "spa pedicure" but apparently that was what I received. The mask they applied on my legs, without asking for my permission, made my skin burn and I promptly asked them to remove it. There is a banner outside that advertised a $30 mani pedi. Beware: they will do their best to get you to spend more. When I brought my problems up at the cashier, they were unwilling to budge. I will not be returning.

Everybody talk about Mindy but Kent and Kelly did my mani-pedi and I m so happy of the time I have spend there and the result. They don't talk much which I don't mind but when they do it is always with a smile. really nice. PRICE: a little expansive.

Another AWESOME nail experience~! Got a French gel mani from Jennie, and she did a fantastic job (as usual ^^). I've recommended SoHo Spa Nails to countless people because I have not had a better nail experience anywhere else~ Pros: -FREE 3-hr parking in the structure next door with validation (you pay $4 upon entry, but get it refunded when you show them your validated ticket) -Terrific customer service and friendly staff -Flawless gel mani's -Great selection of colors Cons: -Pricey if you add designs -Weekends get busy (it's best to make a reservation) I'm sad that I'll be moving to San Francisco because it's so hard to find a really good nail place. But I'm definitely going to be stopping by here every time I visit LA~

This a nice and relaxing salon for those who want to get treated and pampered at a very reasonable price. My boyfriend and I both got a spa pedicure and were very happy with our results! The two women who worked on us took their time and were so kind. I wish I lived in LA so I could go back for more of their service!
