"Set in a carefully restored historical building, San Telmo Luxury Suites features modern loft-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. It is a 15-minute walk from Plaza de Mayo and the nearest subway station. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of charming and vibrant San Telmo, with plenty of coffee shops and other eateries nearby. On Sundays, the San Telmo market is just around the corner. Mariana and Lucia were very friendly and helpful, and after an annoying noise incident, we received a room upgrade without any hassle. The suites are very spacious with a comfortable sitting area and a large bed. It would be great if the bathroom could be updated; that would really complete the experience.

The location is great, but the rooms are old. The hotel cancelled my reservation upon check in. I used points to book and had to overpay due to negligence. The bathroom was broken for 3 days, and the fixed it using a plastic bag. They changed me to another room day 3. The staff was semi helpful, but disrespectful when helping me alleviate the toilet issue. See screengrabs in spanish. Future travelers be warned.

San Telmo Suites is a wonderful experience in the old city. I loved staying here; this was the second time staying here. The entrance to the historic building is beautiful. The staff of the hotel is very nice and helpful. This fabulous hotel has excellent spacious rooms with baths and a great location on Calle Chile across from the historic El Zanjón de Granados. The hotel does not have a restaurant however there are many restaurants and cafes in the area.

Location excellent. Luxury? No. Rooms average, quirky with dated furniture. We booked a balcony room but allocated a ground floor room without view. Had to insist on the balcony. Both showers in this room dreadful. A trickle of water, wait 10 minutes for any mild warmth. Staff interraction very minimal, that may suit most people.

It's not clean. We even found a business card from one of the previous guests in a corner which shows that they never wipe the floor. Mold on the curtains! Tons of hair everywhere. Someone elses finger nails in the bathroom🤮 Stay away!

Definitely not luxury and not worth $90 USD/night. Many of the reviews I read before booking mentioned issues with cleanliness but I paid no mind because some people are very picky (I’m not). However, this place definitely needs better cleaning and up keeping. Overall it’s very run down. The bathroom tiles are full of black mold and the bathroom fixtures are extremely rusted (see pictures). To me mold is a huge sign of lack of cleanliness and disregard for the customer. For the price we paid I’m sure they can afford the proper cleaning products. Fortunately we only booked 2 nights. The only plus is the location which is close to a lot of local attractions. We would never stay here again.

This is a beautifully renovated old home in the heart of San Telmo. It blends modern with original features. You are a block away from Defensa ( big San Telmo market on the weekends) and all the clubs and restaurants. Despite the nearness to the hub of San Telmo, the room was quiet. Check in was easy and after that you use a keypad and key to the outer door after 9 PM. There is a small kitchenette one can use but no breakfast included. The suites are large and comfortable. There is free WIFI and tv, small fridge and our suite had 2 bathrooms. Bed was very comfortable. ||The staff was friendly and helpful.

A convenient place to stay but whether it is really luxury depends on your definition of luxury. Our ground floor junior suite was of adequate size and was very comfortable, including a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was not great as the shower recess seemed to leak all over the floor. The wifi was good. The staff were generally friendly and helpful but some were not really able to speak or understand English.
