From the moment I stepped into the accommodation, I fell in love with the interior design—so much attention to detail! The dorm and shared bathroom were very clean, and the owner and staff were incredibly kind. I felt so comfortable that instead of staying for just two days as planned, I ended up staying an entire week. The accommodation is located right next to the night market, offering great food. It’s a great starting point for exploring the area. Taiping has a lot to offer when it comes to food, a beautiful park for relaxing, and a national park for hiking. A trip to Kuala Sepetang is also worth it. It’s a great place for long-term travelers looking for a slower pace—overall, a peaceful and relaxing stay.

A hostel with character! I look forward to staying there again.Great location. Within walking distance to places of interest, KTM train station, bus station, Taiping shopping centre and eating places.Lin who took care of my check in and check out was efficient and helpful. She provided a link for me to book bus ticket to JB when trains were full. She also recommended me places to go outside of Taiping. She stored my left luggage and released it to me without my having to ask.The only drawback is the opening and closing timing of the hostel. Because there are fast food places and the shopping centre, there are places you can wait in aircon comfort after the hostel closes.

This hostel is amazing in many ways. Vintage interior, clean, comfortable and its got very good location in centre. Comunication with hosť was perfect. 10/10

Higly recommended ! Very clean and pretty, quiet, well organised for intimacy. The owner is very nice and keen to give you the best addresses in town to eat and visit. Environment is excellent with beautiful art and unique objects. Good location. The only problem for me was there is only mixed dorms, but the owner made her best to put me in a dorm with only women afrer i asked her.

Perfect location right in the middle of Taiping town. Plenty of local food places around. Toilets are very clean!!! Good choice to stay for everyone, as long as you are not picky or fussy ☺️ Friendly n accommodating proprietor.

I had a great stay here and extended for a week, rooms were clean and Lin is amazing (thank you Lin) so helpful with where to go or if you need to buy certain things, good knowledge of local area and what’s going on. Location is in centre and close to everything. Toilets and showers were clean, beds were comfy, towel provided. Free yea and coffee to help yourself. Loved all the old things around the hostel, has a nice feel to the place nice communal areas, great to sit down stairs and chat with other travellers, would definitely recommend.

I once wrote a raving review just like all you guys about this place as i stayed here a couple of times but i deleted my review.Straight to the point, if you're a local or a Malaysian, i guess you might get a warm and friendly welcoming hospitality from the owner and staffinitially, only in the beginning but after becoming kind of a regular guest, the experiences you encounter may be a far cry from the initial with them.Please do not bother to be helpful or kind or considerate to assist them in conserving electricity or keeping the doors locked upon their request for guests' safety or switching off the full blast ceiling fans and lights after 7pm when not in use because you'll get a long rude, condescending, sarcastic and irritable lecturing and telling off response message from them to "come as a guest and leave as a guest" ....just one last quote-unquote line out of the extremely long whatsapp note i received in place of a simple appreciative "THANK YOU"🙏...a shocking gesture i certainly did not expect! I suppose they did forget that regardless of race, nationality or status, a faithful and loyal and considerate kind customer has the potential to influence many more and deserves some respect and appreciation ...I have worked years in the service industry and earned a couple of customer service excellence awards and i can tell you that the locals here need to step up and improve in humility in place of ego, pride, defensiveness and judgemental behaviour
