I think this is the only hostel in Taiping, so I was very pleasantly surprised when it was deservedly well-rated. It was clean and quiet. There was also a small personal fan provided with the capsule which came in handy during the night.

Miss Ling and Trisha are amazing hosts who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. It’s the best international and local meeting point in Taiping. They have plenty of brochures and are super helpful if you want to explore the area. The hostel is modern, clean and everything is super handy. I stayed nearly 3 weeks while waiting for my motorbike repair, and they took great care of me. The location is also amazing, walking distance to parks, supermarkets, food courts, city sights. Definitely the highlight of my Taiping experience.

I had a great stay here! The room was clean and had air conditioning, which is all I need for a comfortable stay. The showers and toilets were also well maintained. Downstairs, there’s free coffee and water that you can have whenever you want, and a mini fridge to keep your drinks cool. Lin, the host, is one of the kindest people I have met during my 4 months of travelling. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel very welcome with her warmth and hospitality and was always happy to offer recommendations on places to visit and eat. She also helped with other things around Taiping, such as transport. She knows the area extremely well and always had an answer for everything. Lin really left a lasting impression on me, and I will not forget her kindness. There was an issue with the AC in my room, but it was quickly fixed. To make up for it, they generously offered the room at half price for the following night. They were so apologetic about it, which showed how much they genuinely care about their guests having the best experience possible. Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

From the moment I stepped into the accommodation, I fell in love with the interior design—so much attention to detail! The dorm and shared bathroom were very clean, and the owner and staff were incredibly kind. I felt so comfortable that instead of staying for just two days as planned, I ended up staying an entire week. The accommodation is located right next to the night market, offering great food. It’s a great starting point for exploring the area. Taiping has a lot to offer when it comes to food, a beautiful park for relaxing, and a national park for hiking. A trip to Kuala Sepetang is also worth it. It’s a great place for long-term travelers looking for a slower pace—overall, a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Lovely host. Definitely recommend staying here- walking distance to the lake and Taiping mall. All the famous dishes are around this area. Very beautiful home. Clean and comfortable room. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Taiping!

A hostel with character! I look forward to staying there again.Great location. Within walking distance to places of interest, KTM train station, bus station, Taiping shopping centre and eating places.Lin who took care of my check in and check out was efficient and helpful. She provided a link for me to book bus ticket to JB when trains were full. She also recommended me places to go outside of Taiping. She stored my left luggage and released it to me without my having to ask.The only drawback is the opening and closing timing of the hostel. Because there are fast food places and the shopping centre, there are places you can wait in aircon comfort after the hostel closes.

Agree with all of the reviews here! One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. It used to be a home and it sure felt like home, especially when you have traveled for a long time. I really found peace here, Taiping is so lovely and people are so friendly! Everything is within walking distance. Lin is a great host and so helpful, wifi is fast, bed is comfy and spacious, everything is nice and clean. Storage room and locker under the bed and also mini fan for each bed. A lot of cozy places around the hostel to relax or socialise. Have free hot and cold water dispenser, tea and coffee service. Exceptional value for money. See you next time!

I had a great stay here and extended for a week, rooms were clean and Lin is amazing (thank you Lin) so helpful with where to go or if you need to buy certain things, good knowledge of local area and what’s going on. Location is in centre and close to everything. Toilets and showers were clean, beds were comfy, towel provided. Free yea and coffee to help yourself. Loved all the old things around the hostel, has a nice feel to the place nice communal areas, great to sit down stairs and chat with other travellers, would definitely recommend.
