This is such a brillllliant hostel. It's so clean, welcoming and friendly! It's quiet and there are so many spots to relax in the building. Lin welcomed me and she was so warm and made me feel at home. I can only recommend this hostel to everyone! Really one of my favourite hostels from my travels ✨ Thank you!

The guesthouse is an old chinese house which is nicely decorated and very clean. They have a hot/cold water dispenser and coffee/tea is available the whole day. The staff provides good advice about what to do in the area and also regarding restaurants. A perfect base to visit the lakes, Zoo and other sights.

I had a truly pleasant stay. This place was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally nice and friendly, always ready to help with a lot smile. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and great service.

cleanliness is very important to me, and this place definitely met my expectations — I was impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the double bedroom didn’t have a window. Personally, I’m not used to staying in rooms without windows, and at first, I felt a bit uncomfortable, but I eventually got used to it. The wooden floor tends to make noise with every step, which can be a little distracting. There was also a loud motorbike noise at midnight that woke me up

I’m honestly amazed by the attention to detail — this place really takes you back to the old days with its wooden floors, antique displays, and cozy vibe, yet it’s modernly refurbished. Everything’s super clean — from the toilets to the bedrooms — and I especially love the books at the café where backpackers can leave their notes. Chill oldie music in the background, plus some really interesting journals to flip through. And the location? Perfect. It’s literally right beside Taiping Lake — can’t get any better than that. Miss Ling and Trisha are amazing hosts who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. It’s the best international and local meeting point in Taiping. They have plenty of brochures and are super helpful if you want to explore the area. The hostel is modern, clean and everything is super handy. I stayed nearly 3 weeks while waiting for my motorbike repair, and they took great care of me. The location is also amazing, walking distance to parks, supermarkets, food courts, city sights. Definitely the highlight of my Taiping experience.

I think this is the only hostel in Taiping, so I was very pleasantly surprised when it was deservedly well-rated. It was clean and quiet. There was also a small personal fan provided with the capsule which came in handy during the night.

I had a great stay here! The room was clean and had air conditioning, which is all I need for a comfortable stay. The showers and toilets were also well maintained. Downstairs, there’s free coffee and water that you can have whenever you want, and a mini fridge to keep your drinks cool. Lin, the host, is one of the kindest people I have met during my 4 months of travelling. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel very welcome with her warmth and hospitality and was always happy to offer recommendations on places to visit and eat. She also helped with other things around Taiping, such as transport. She knows the area extremely well and always had an answer for everything. Lin really left a lasting impression on me, and I will not forget her kindness. There was an issue with the AC in my room, but it was quickly fixed. To make up for it, they generously offered the room at half price for the following night. They were so apologetic about it, which showed how much they genuinely care about their guests having the best experience possible. Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
