Sok San Beach Resort

The resort is positioned at a highly secluded area and offers direct acccess to the best beach we've ever been to. The resort is built with beautiful dark wood, which gives it rustic natural glamour. It's difficult to reach this part of the island but a tuktuk drive or motorcycle rent for $10/day solves this problem. There aren't many great food options around but 2-3 restaurants nearby offer good fresh local dishes. Perfect for families and people who want calm relaxing movies-like stay.

The hotel rooms were rather small, with uneven wooden floors and poor soundproofing. The outdoor facilities were indeed quite old, with little to no usable public amenities besides lounge chairs. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was acceptable. The staff were friendly, but the overall environment needs better maintenance; this is something the owners should consider. The beach was indeed fantastic, with clean water where you could see the sand beneath your feet. A local village is located not far from the hotel, offering good food. There wasn't much entertainment at night, and the location was quite far from the pier to Sihanoukville. If you're looking for more entertainment, this isn't the place to go; however, if you prefer a quiet and relaxing stay, it's worth considering.

If you want to feel like you’re on an episode of survivor, this is the place for you. The rooms are not what we expected from the pictures. AC and fan were outdated and did not give good ventilation in the room. The worst part was smelling the bathroom due to the toilet being in the shower. The only good thing about this place was the location on the beach. It was NOT worth the 100 something a night we paid for. This place can use a lot of TLC.

Four stars are completely unjustified. Dangerous walkways with exposed nails, staff ignores guests, breakfast is awful, rooms smell of urine and excrement, and internet “included” but never worked. Only the beach is nice. Do not recommend.👎👎👎

That is a scam for breakfast. The view is beautiful but they charge you 10$ for a “breakfast set” that is composed only of an egg and a glass of water whereas the menu indicates that the set comprises fruits, bread, juices, etc. Better go to the small village a few minutes away

It was definitely one of the prettiest beaches I’ve been to! First of all, it’s not that easy to get to the island, the weather/ocean may change your plans easily. The rooms were quite old and poorly maintained. The restaurant prices were high enough, especially when they charge you in $$$😅

This place is really old and run down. There’s a reason why it’s cheaper. The bed is really uncomfortable. Many of the beach lounge chairs are broken and not enough umbrellas. The food is good but expensive compared to other options in the village. I got bit by fleas at this property. Maybe because of all the dogs and cats around. Oh also the dogs barking at night made me nervous to step outside. The communication is also not good about the ferry. There’s no activities at this resort. It seems like they’ve made no effort in at least two years.

We had a pleasant experience at Soksan Beach Resort. While the room we stayed in was a bit dated, it was still comfortable. Overall, it’s a good place to relax, though do note that it’s quite far from Long Set Beach and Koh Touch, so some travel is needed if you plan to visit those areas.
