Fantastic central location, overlooking Sol Square. Walkable to many top rated restaurants and all the sights. We didn't use the metro at all. Spotlessly clean and very responsive host. Thanks

We stayed at the Apartamentos en Sol Confort 5. Our review is based on that apartment. Excellent Location, Clean and quiet. The apartment is an interior facing apartment so no balcony etc that faces to the outside. Customer service was not the greatest. I would say it was just horrible. We had told them we will check in at 4.30 pm. They did not activate the gate code for us to get in until 5 pm. We basically stood outside the gate in the Puerta De Sol square for 1/2 hour doing nothing. When you travel, you are exhausted and just want to rest, but these folks make our wait 1/2 hour more than what was needed. Once checked in, the Wifi system worked on a voucher system, which they had not provided to us prior to our check in. So, we reached out to them , which by the way is only through email. We did not get our wifi code until later in the night. We were supposed to check out on the Sep 21st. They shut our wifi off on Sep 20th. So we had to ask for the voucher code again. Apartment has a weird system where the AC's auto adjust to 26 degrees in the night and day. So many sensors everywhere in the apartment, I wish the owners would disclose on their website what these sensors are for and what they do.

It's a typical apt in a great location. Right in the middle of city center. Close to everything. The train station is right outside. It's an apt bldg, very small not sure where exactly there office is. We got there at 10 and glad someone came as we were trying to figure out how to get in touch with someone. Had to wait till 3 to check in, wish there was a way to do that earlier, even if we had to pay a little extra. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom was spacious, one big bathroom and it had shower separate so if you're with family, one person isn't hogging up the whole room. They did wanted 200 euro as a deposit and that they would return it when we leave but we explained that we weren't told about that, also we are tourist and would have to exchange currency and would lose money at the end. They were nice about it and let it go. I didn't have a city view. Had a view to some.wall and someones laundry on a wire outside. I'd recommend this place for everyone with family. Had an elevator but very small so about 3 people can fit. If you have luggage, you might need to take few trips.

Location, location, location! The apartments are in the Puerta del Sol so you are literally 10 steps from the Madrid Hop-On/Hop-Off bus stop for Route 1 and within walking distance of many other major attractions. Our apartment was very comfortable with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen and living room. Three separate a/c units ensured we were nice and cool in August. The shower may have the strongest water pressure in Madrid! Check-in was easy and the unit had a hair dryer and iron with plenty of towels. My only negative was they required a 200 Euro deposit in cash which means I had to run to the ATM to get more cash and I'll have 200 Euros returned to me on the last day of my trip. Overall a solid choice to stay.

POSITIVES: Great location, modern feel to the apartment. Quite spacious rooms.||NEGATIVES: No elevator on ground floor and it is a long way up to the elevator. Also elevator stops are not on apartment levels, so after getting out of elevator you have to walk up or down a flight of stairs again to get to your apartment. Weird layout! Strollers luggage, etc. very tiring. Staff weren't very responsive to requests. Garbage was not collected at all, so we had to call to ask them to collect it. They said they would come soon.... two hours later we left it at the door upon leaving. It was only collected six hours after that. Wi-fi signal is very weak and my husband was unable to do urgent work or check email most of the time. Also the guy working there is a creep, stared right at my crotch ( i was wearing jeans) as i was walking down and he was walking up the stairs.

Amazing location, best in Madrid. Amazing apartment. Modern, well maintained, new furniture and recently renovated. We had a fantastic experience staying there four nights, and I wouldn´t think of staying anywhere else in my next stay in Madrid. On top of all this, the price is incredibly accessible. Very highly recommended

If you're in Madrid, you gotta be in Puerta Del Sol and if it is PDS, Apartementos en Sol is bang opposite Sol.||Location wise, you cannot get better than this. All the happening discos like Club Joy Salavati and small / happening disco joints are in this area. The bars, restaurants, local hangouts are all here. There is aVodafone store closeby where you can get awesome 30 day / 20GB ( FB/ Twitter fully free ) plans for 20 Euros valid throughout EU.||The Gran Via, Mercado de San Miguel, Churro places ( San guines) is literally a 5 mins walk from here. The Sol metro station is a spit throw away....Basically Location is fantastic. The Hop On Hop Off stops at the apartment itself. ||The facilities were great and the apartment is very chic and quite tastefully done. All modern facilities Heater /AC , Washing machine, Induction plates, microwave, Grill, Hot water kettle, TV with Cable( only 2/70 are english channels) Utensils( Pots, Pans, Glassware & Cutlery too)...All top notch, all clean and available.||There are no ensuite bathrooms but if you're taking a 2 BED apartment, then you must be close to people with whom you are going, so shouldn't be a deal killer. Be aware that there is only 1 bath/ toilet for the 2 Bedroom apartment. So for 4 adults / 2 kids that we were it was ok.||This place is an absolute no brainer.|||Highly recommend it.

The location of the apartment is excellent, could not have been better. The apartment is well furnished. However, no lift on the ground floor and the lift is on the first floor. You have to carry the luggage to the first floor. Cleanliness could have been better. Rest no complaints as such. But the location of the apartment is a great bonus.
