Super nice location! If you want to eat vegetables and fresh yummy food, go here. We have been there 3 times now and really enjoy the meals. The kids liked the noodles and the kids burger and we ate local food like rice and beans but also can really recommend the bowl!

Food , service and Attention was very nice! Loved it and would definitely come back each opportunity I get 😎🙏🏻 pinto with the reddish onion sauce and the maracuyá (passion fruit) spicy sauce is the best hot sauce combination I've ever had. Loved it! AAAA+++(

We were here for the cocktails during happy hour. 2 classic cocktails for the price of one. The cocktails were okay! The atmosphere was amazing. It looked very cute at night, and there was a live band at some point.

For me, this is one of the top restaurants in this area. For starters, we had the guacamole with homemade chips, which was exceptionally good. Then the Caribbean chicken, which was delicious! Cocktails and batidos were good too!

I am really happy I discovered this place, so much so I've been for lunch twice in the last 3 days. The menu has a large variety of Caribbean-Asian fusion choices including vegetarian selections, too. All homemade and cooked to order. My first time I totally enjoyed their Thai red curry with shrimp and sides and today I chose their huge and tasty chicken casado plate with lemonade, all for only 5,000 colones. Their portions are ample, the service is warm and welcoming (thank you, Madison) and I was thrilled to discover they offer Happy Hour from 3-5 pm every day-two good cocktails for only 4,000 colones CAN'T BE BEAT! As Ahnold says, "ahl be baaaack!" Follow up, I enjoyed Sol del Caribe SO much I returned for a 3rd visit before I left town to drive up to La Fortuna and TOTALLY ENJOYED their Eggs Benedict for breakfast (only served until 11am, I believe)!

We liked this Place so much, that we came a second time right away… Food, Drinks and Service were excellent! Highly recommend!

Sol del Caribe is a beautiful spot to eat, directly across from Playa Cocles the atmosphere and view are great. The food was delicious, and the serving size of our Caribbean Chicken was enough for us both. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They have a great Asian/Caribbean fusion here. The owner of the place is also wonderful. Federico is kind, knowledgeable, and was able to suggest some amazing combinations. We will definitely go again while we are in town.

Best restaurant out of all restaurants we tried in Monteverde, Arenal, San Jose and Puerto Viejo! We went here twice and tried various dishes and they are all very flavorful and well-made. The staff is also friendly
