Sol Pelícanos Ocas

Me and my husband went for one week break in Pelicanos Hotel, like many of others people, because of Benidorm series. Pool bar was closed. Snack bar in the pool area also closed. If you want to eat anything after meals you can get leftovers in the bar area (inside). And if you want to take crispies to pool area, security guard blocked you, in the most rude way, he is more like one pitbull, he can not be nice to the hotel guests at all. He thinks he has the power and you have to deal with. Toilet in the inside area is absolutely disgusting, stinking 24/7. We paid for all inclusive holiday. When we asked for cocktails staff don’t use bottles which are on the shelves, they walked inside and filled your glass with something cheaper and unrecognised drink. Red wine tasted like vinegar. And if you ask for same drinks with bottles that are in the shelves they asked you to pay for it. Front desk staff are nice and helpful in the least. Food average and entertainment good. Rooms are ok. In the morning I keep hearing my neighbours vomit, yes… poor things but also, bad isolation between walls. For all inclusive there were nothing to please you in the room. Not coffee. But bed is comfy. Food is not spectacular. Edible. So, few things were supposed to be easy to sort. We spoken with other people around and they stayed in there in the past but hotel is going down the hill. Sad! I plan to come back to Benidorm but I started to look for other places.

After reading the reviews about this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised. |This is a three star hotel, don’t go with four or five star expectations.||Check in- we booked direct with the hotel so were able to check in online and join the priority check in queue. Did get some funny looks from the other queue.||Lift- only used on arrival and departure as we were on the first floor.||Room - Clean, basic could do with a bit of a refresh. We were overlooking the pool on the first floor, so had a flat roof directly below us. No tea & coffee making facilities, but you could hire a kettle from reception. We were told by another guest they had run out of kettles, so might be best to take a travel one with you. ||Pool- loads of sun loungers , but a lot had towels on and no people. We found that if we went out and about in Benidorm first then came back about 2ish we’d get a couple of beds. Pool itself is lovely.||Food- we were half board . Good selection of food for both breakfast and evening meal.||Location - Hotel is at the end of the strip . We didn’t have any issues with noise. |Would we go back there again, maybe. Although I think if we went back to Benidorm again we’d go for a more central hotel.

Brilliant location. 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the main nightlife strip. Rooms and hotel were clean. Food was a great selection and fresh everyday. There are several pools, the main pool busy and lovely and then a smaller pool on the other side of the building which was chilled and relaxed. Plenty of bars to get a drink. Barely heard any noise from the street. Great stay, value for money and would stay here again.

My First time in Benidorm with a group of lads. We wanted to stay here because of the TV show and nostalgia. Check in was quick, rooms were excellent and very clean, staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast catered for all. Full English breakfast, pastries, continental and great fruits. Pool is very large and lots of space for people to have a lie in and not rush down at daft o clock to put towels down!!! Great location to the strip which is full of bars and restaurants! Will definitely be coming back to this hotel again! Thank you

We have just finished a week at the Sol Pelicanos and loved every second of it. We had a problem with the swipe card for the door but maintenance came and fixed it without a problem. It was my birthday whilst we were there. We had gone to the beach for the day and came back to complimentary drink vouchers and birthday wishes. The staff were lovely and friendly. We are already planning are holiday for next year to come back 😊

We brought our kids on their first ever abroad holiday in June 2025. We had an absolute blast!! All of the rooms are perfect, even when you have a no balcony like we did! We didn’t really know what to expect of the entertainments team as we’ve never experienced anything like it before but our youngest loved every activity she took part in. The team are fantastic and put all of the kids at ease when joining the daily activities. They completely look after all the kids that go to the club and I can honestly say it’s made our trip super special. Anyone thinking of taking kids to Sol pelicanos you definitely should! Best pool and atmosphere in Benidorm (if you’re not here for the strip)

Check in is a absolute nightmare a hour and half we qued then told to come back at 4 for keys to que again. We were pelicanos side and the lifts are awful .. food is dreadful bad stomach on day 2 so we've eaten out every day since and been fine.. room wasn't cleaned once in our week stay as she came to clean at about 4pm most days , we where out everyday from half 8, , so just got clean towels etc .. I've never known the pool floors as slippy as these, there are now caution signs everywhere as loads was slipping and falling its a accident waiting to happen , some staff are just plain rude. Aircon in room is also rubbish.. positives its a excellent location and the pools are nice .. love benidorm but wouldn't return here there's far better avaliable for cheaper price, the fantastic pools are not worth the other things in my opinion 😉

Very basic hotel. There is no aircon in the room. I complained as we couldn't sleep with the heat. They said its not summer yet, so no aircon. Don't bother going all-inclusive. You get watered down alcohol drinks. The same food for lunch and dinner. We got so fed up with the food that we ended up eating out. The bar by the bigger pool has a little food court for the all-inclusive guests. Very poor quality and food choices. The pools were lovely and clean but cold. But then we did go in April. The staff were nice. Entertainment every night. They put a lot of effort into entertaining kids in the evening, before the adult entertainment. We arrived at midnight on our first night,so day one of our holidays was over. On day 7,our last day, we were checking out at 11.45am. We were told we could have breakfast,as long as it's before 7.15am. We arrived at breakfast to be told that we couldn't have anything from the hot side, only the cold side. So toast and cereal. I thought this was wrong, as we paid for 7 days all-inclusive, yet only had 5 days of this. The location is good for shopping. I wouldn't go back to this hotel.
