SOL Taphouse Gwangan

This is the pizza spot in Korea and Busan. This is authentic NY style. This takes me back to my NY life for sure. The pizza was crunchy and cheesy with a crisp golden crust. The buffalo wings were fantastic too.

Perfection with a view. Coming from NYC, I have to say—it’s fire. The pizza here is the real deal. Crispy crust, great sauce, legit flavor—this could hold its own back home in New York. Pair it with a cold craft beer and that insane beach view of Gwangalli Bridge? Instant favorite. Chill vibes, friendly staff, and an unbeatable sunset setting. Don’t miss it.

Amazing! Seriously good pizza!! I felt like I was transported into a modern New York pizza joint. Great ambiance with chill music and beautiful views. It’s upstairs on the fourth floor but worth the trek. The pizza was delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. Liked how you could do it by the slice, half or whole pie so you can try a lot of different slices. It is a little bit on the pricier side, with having a one drink and one item per person minimum (unsure if they enforce it) but I’d say it’s definitely worth it for the experience! :)

Best pizza I've had in Korea. White pizza was really good and the classic cheese was also good. Want to try the spicy garlic, we had a party of seven and pies come in at 6 slices so I was unlucky. Great selection of beers.

Great pizza, good views, and a surprisingly great beer selection. It was very cool that they had a vegan (cheese less) pizza option.

Disappointing Quality Drop Ordered a takeout: half box of Pizza Margherita, half box of Spicy Italian, and 12 buffalo wings. I live less than five minutes away, but by the time I got home, the pizza was already cold. The taste was very disappointing, the pizza crust felt like eating paper, with no flavor or texture worth mentioning. The wings were equally bland, though to be fair, this was my first time trying them so I didn’t have high expectations. I’ve ordered pizza from SOL several times before and was always satisfied, so this drop in quality is surprising and really disappointing. For the price you pay, it’s definitely not worth it anymore.

Wow!! My wife suggested coming here for our trip to Busan. Lovely atmosphere, delicious pizza... Tried a few different slices, just what you want when you fancy an honestly good pizza slice! Beer is top notch as well, we tried the Seoul Choco porter and it was not only very tasty, but very reasonably priced. Plus points for service, friendly and very kind. If you're in Busan and love good pizza, you owe yourself a visit here. 🍕❤️
