Solaire Resort

During my stay at Solaire Resort, I was generally pleased with the overall experience. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed and complete amenities. I particularly enjoyed the gym and pool areas, which were well maintained and relaxing. The service was efficient, and most of the staff were courteous and accommodating; however, I did encounter one staff member at the casino who appeared inattentive. The highlight of my stay was the buffet dinner at Fresh Restaurant, where we dined on New Year’s Eve. Although the price was higher than the usual rate (approximately ₱3,500–₱4,000), the expanded food selection more than justified the cost. The offerings included Filipino foods with unlimited lechon and bulalo, Chinese, Japanese, Western, Indian, fresh seafoods, tropical fruits, salad, unlimiyed wine and softdrinks, there's also turkey, and lobster. The unlimited lobster, in particular, was excellent and could be requested either baked or grilled, definitely a must-try. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I am confident that I will return in the future.

It has been our to go hotel that feels like home away from home. We’ve stayed here on my birthday and we had the best time ever. Imagine having to reserve the Bay Tower but end up being upgraded by the staff who processed our check in. Best birthday surprise ever . The best, most comfortable experience like always. I had to add a bed last minute and they did it quickly that my friends and I were able to rest immediately after our very tiring event at the Ballroom. We also had our make up and hair done in the room, and the lady who tidied up the room was very nice and gave us extra tissues that we needed during our event preparations. For sure, we'll book again.

We enjoyed our experience at Solaire. It's very luxurious and we ate at Fresh Buffet. Go there, it's a 5 star restaurant and visit Ms. Patricia, she will take care of you there. She provided excellent service. She is truly a valued asset. She made our experience phenomenal! Thank you!

All of the staff members we met during our stay were very helpful. The receptionist who assisted us during check-in—who also happened to be a fellow Batangueña—was very accommodating and ensured that everything was taken care of from the moment we entered our room until the check-out process. Unfortunately my experience with solaire entertainment city was not as good as I had hoped. I mainly went there to celebrate my first new years with my wife, but was unable to join the new years party due to it being invite only which was never explicitly stated until I called the service desk. I felt like I was not getting enough information about anything I was receiving. Besides my complaints, Solaire is a beautiful hotel. My room, despite not having an optimal view, is a very beautiful room and well maintained. Also, solaire offers many luxury shops and restaurants which are great. Overall, the stay was fine, but my experience was underwhelming. I preferred my experience at solaire north more.

We were excited to stay here and had high expectations for a 5-star hotel experience. While there were some positive aspects, several issues unfortunately made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. 1. Check-in process could be improved. We arrived early and were told we would receive a text once our room was ready. Unfortunately, we never received any message, and when I followed up at the front desk later, there was already a long queue of guests checking in — indicating that rooms were available but we were not informed. 2. Handling of medical equipment. Security initially stopped our baggage because of my husband’s CPAP machine and informed us it couldn’t be brought to the room. This was surprising, as it’s a medical device he needs to sleep. It would be helpful if staff were more familiar with such equipment and handled these situations more sensitively. 3. Room amenities and TV issues. The TV in our room wasn’t working properly (No sound), and it took the technicians more than an hour to try to fix it. We were also told we had to choose between having YouTube or regular TV channels, and even after choosing YouTube, they were unable to get it to work — something quite unexpected for a five-star property. 4. Smoke in public areas. The lobby and even the breakfast buffet area had a noticeable smell of smoke. While we understand this is a casino hotel, it would greatly enhance the guest experience if dining areas were kept smoke-free. 5. Breakfast was decent but has room for improvement. The selection of fruits was great and I appreciated the gluten-free options. The cold cuts and cheese were ok. The latte most probably came from a machine, needs to be improved. The dim sum choices were limited and there were no Japanese options, which would have been a nice addition. Overall, there were good points and the staff tried to assist where possible, but the service and attention to detail fell short of what we’ve experienced in other 5-star hotels. We hope management will take this feedback constructively, as there is a lot of potential here to make the guest experience truly exceptional.

First time checking in at this hotel and I must say, I was impressed. Nothing beats an exemplary service and a spacious luxurious room! From housekeeping, to front ofc, Fresh(resto), pool and location. All on the spot, so great!!! The rate, although pricey is so worth it! The experience built so much core memories for me and my family!!! Eventhough it is a casino resort and you would think the smell on the casino floor would be annoying, it isn't!!! Never had asthma attack and was able to play for a bit on the floor. This hotel definitely now ranks number one for me! 2nd to my favorite Manila Peninsula! I will be definitely booking again!!! Love, love , love to the staff for the assistance and exemplary service!!! Kudos to Ms. Jia Yutuc for making sure my stay's memorable and pleasant!!!

If high end shopping is what you're looking for, they will meet most of your needs, however they lack a Versace and tbh most of the inventory in the stores are pretty weak (I kept getting advised to check their Greenbelt locations for certain items I was looking for). But the overall casino is clean and well maintained. I'm not much of a gambler but it's always nice to visit.

Best places to eat for a vacation. Best Philippine gourmet food. The people are friendly and $7 in pesos

The only thing I could marvel about this place is the rooms are spectacular outside of that service sucks and they treat you like a number. I did not enjoy my stay here. It has Vegas without the Vegas service. Everyone is very cold and the security is too busy wearing the you're not taking pictures of their hallways, etc.. They literally ask you to look at your phone and delete the picture in front of them, if they knew what they were doing, they would ask you to go to deleted file and delete that too, but they clearly don't know what they're doing

Beautiful hotel and casino in Manila! Opulent and shiny, Solaris has Las Vegas vibes as you step in. There is lots of security, and you have to go through a metal detector to enter. I like blackjack but I couldn't find a standard BJ table so I went to zombie BJ which has different odds. One security guard told me that there's no regular BJ but a dealer told me there is (only in the VIP section). The lowest gambling minimums from what I saw during my brief stroll were around 1k PHP. The Shoppes are very high end. There's also a food court with a few options. All in all a good place to go, if you are in the mood to gamble or be surrounded by luxury.

Absolutely stunning! The food, the shops, and the people were all amazing would definitely come back here when I come back to the Philippines!

Do not waste time playing their e-games online, as you will not automatically earn points and rewards. You have to try to contact them so that they can manually credit your rewards, so it's a lot of hassle. I still have some missing rewards that have not been credited since May 2024

I was so excited to visit Solaire Resort & Casino! I heard about it from family and also all the Filipino celebrities on instagram haha. Solaire is located in Pasay very close to Mall of Asia and also Okada. My family stopped by here to pasyal on our vacation. We didn't stay too long since we were headed to Okada Casino for dinner but we got to enjoy the shopping and gambled a little hehe. Immediately after stepping out of the car at the entrance I noticed that the air smelled really good! That's shocking especially for the smoggy air in Metro Manila! I think they pump fragrance or perfume into the air like Disneyland does on Main Street haha. They have all the fancy stores here like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Versace etc. I hadn't been to the Philippines in 13 years so I was surprised they have those stores here now! Very cool! The slot machines were blahhh. Didn't win anything unfortunately :/ Aside from the gambling, it's still a pretty nice place.

Great location with great restaurants. The Food Court is good too but... My Mom asked a staff to call for a waiter while playing. I followed up with 3 more staff for a waiter. It's been more than 40 mins and we are still waiting.

I've been to Casino Resorts across the globe and rank The Solaire in my top 3. Not only was the suite next fucking level, but the service and staff are as well. Need something, call service and you'll have it in less than 10 minutes. I spent five nights there and didn't want to leave. If you are headed to that area, check them out. You will not be disappointed.

Great hotel lobby is terrible, full of cigarrette second hand smoke from gamblers. Not a healthy place to hang out.

It's my first time in the Philippines and I was having a pleasant time, but my friends took me to a casino (a place where I work in America). At first I was bored and uninterested, but then I sat at this bar and was welcomed by the amazing staff. Among them was a bartender named Edward. He was very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond for me as a guest. Hope he makes it far in his career!!

A fantastic view from my Bayview Suite, a wide array of gastronomic choices, & the most hospitable, accommodating, & courteous staff made our stay in Solaire Casino one of the best vacations I had w/ my wife. Couldn't check in in Taiwan when I was wandering around but it's smoggy but nice place going to spend more than a day next tine - anyway this place is pretty cool compared to the Casinos in CA it's reminiscent of a medium sized casino in Vegas - but it's not very crowded and not as Smokey (good filtration) the staff has been wonderful from the moment I walked in and just as nice when I walked around - would definitely want to visit again!

I'm not a gambler but found myself here with some family. At first look from the outside it looks like any other casino. When you go inside that's where it makes all the difference. This place is huge! The machines are clean, the air is clean even with smokers. This place is brighter than your normal casinos. I've been to Vegas and walked the strip, I've been into many of their popular casinos like the MGM and Ceasar's I have to tell you this place is cleaner, smells nicer and has more lighting than the ones in Las Vegas. I've also been to casinos in California and again this place is all around better as far as cleanliness and smell is concerned. The waitstaff is always around to offer you drinks and clean up Andy mess left by customers. Staff is always smiling. The food court inside is nice. They all kinds of Asian cuisine and an American station. The food is delicious and the price is affordable.

More than Casino Filipino or Resorts World (and moooore than COD), I really like Solaire. The entrance is really something to behold, with all the flowers, the falls and the chandeliers. Everything is... well, not to sound like some sort of magpie, really shiny. Everywhere you look it's bright and colorful, and you really can't help but look at all the machines. It's very reminiscent of the world class casinos in Las Vegas. One thing I didn't like though is that all the machines were computerized , or used buttons. For me, it kind of retracts from the experience? It's really fun when you pull the lever at the slot machine and then you can here the quarters falling... And sometimes the games are kind of confusing , like you don't even need to know the rules to win, because everything is automated. (I sound like an old person, haha.) Also, they have got to work on their exhaust. Just passing by the main area leaves you smelling like smoke for hours! It's also absolutely disgusting to see people disposing of their cigarette butts or ashes on the floor when there's an ashtray a few steps away. And it's kind of strange that for the room service, you only get 4 SMALL bottles of water, when you can get how many you want downstairs. While I'm glad that they've moved on to biodegradable cups in the food court, I'd like to see them do something about the excess plastic used in the water bottle station. Like seriously, how many plastic bottles does Solaire consume in a day? Probably more than 5,000! Think about your environmental impact, man.

World class!!! Solaire is a very beautiful casino hotel that can match the best casino hotels in the world. The contemporary decor and service with a smile attitude of its staff made this vacation memorable for us. Check in is fast and friendly. The queen studio is huge with wonderful amenities. Wifi is fast. Toiletries are l'occitane. Everything in the room especially the sitting area and bay view makes it hard for a guest to go elsewhere. Truly a wonderful vacation.

This is my hangout. This is where I go to exchange my USD for PHP. This is where I go for my coffee at Coffee Bean and chill. We've also checked in a few times here. The rooms are beyond great. They are spacious, clean, and elegant. We were in the VIP but then again, it still exceeded my expectations. The pool is cool! We just couldn't bear to go swimming in the heat of the sun but it's lovely to hangout and watch other people swim. I also have a few of my favorite dishes from the food court. And by the way I've won here a few times. Got my P1,500 go up to P18K at one time. It's my go to place especially because I stay in the nearby condominiums.

Top-tier casino and hotel in Manila. Known for its high end amenities, this is also dubbed as a resort in the city. A short drive away from the Airport and Mall of Asia.

Early morning of Feb 19 2016, me and my wife were playing slot machines when suddenly a thousand peso bill got stucked on a slot. We waited for a slot person to open the hopper up and give us back the money.....but instead it was a nightmare. They accused us of cashing it out. Their video monitor personnel who I guess were drunk or dont know what they are doing , could not figure out our actions. The slot machine computers were not helpful either. We told them that we inserted the 1 thousand pesos bill. I told them that I am not buying a merchandise or getting a service from solaire. I am in there for fun and entertainment. Solaire did not return our money. Solaire in effect robbed us of the money. We lived 20 years in the true intertainment capital of the world..las vegas USA...and have never treated this way. I also worked as loss prevention specialist in another country...so I know surveillance. My wife has worked 19 years in a casino in vegas. We know gambling..and casinos very well. It was so frustrating how solaire disrespect people.

Every time I go to Solaire, it ends up being a bizzare experience. I'm not a big fan of big casinos, primarily because I don't have the money to spend on big casinos. I saw someone lose over fifty grand in one game the first time I was here, and I almost fainted. The one who lost a money didn't even blin - he just kept playing! In the immortal words of ABBA: Must be funny in a rich man's world! What I like though is above and beyond the casino, there's lots to enjoy in Solaire. If you're not the gambling type and more the where's-the-food kind of guy (like I am) you'll find plenty of options here. Every corner seems to have its own little delicatessen or hole-in-the-wall. My favorite is their Dragon Bar - not only do they serve excellent alcohol (plus hot drinks, and desserts!), there's also a gigantic Chinese dragon glaring down on you while you drink.

This resort is ridiculously beautiful, it puts a lot of the five star resorts in Vegas to shame. It is definitely a splurge, but you definitely get what you pay for here. There is tons to do on location and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are stocked with anything you could want and more and are extremely luxurious.

I've had traumatizing experiences with casinos (losing money in Pagcor by the airport) and I still feel iffy about places like these. But in retrospect, it was very well maintained and upscale -far from the dingy ones I had been to in the past. The staff are accomodating to everyone, kahit nakapambahay (because apparently, those are the richest folks -the ones in their boxers, wifebeaters and tsinelas). I watched a friend lose-in-lose money on an obscure slot machine I couldn't fathom how to work. The food court is interesting although still pricey (Php 130 for a Pale Pilsen!) but there are good food choices. I would definitely try their Korean and maybe even American to see if they do any justice to the pizza. The Cafe had good choices. The coffee and the pastries were decently price (over Php 100) and were quite good too!

I rarely give out 5 stars to any places but this by far is highly deserving. This hotel beats any back in the US and the customer service and facilities are top notch. If you're lucky enough go during off peak season- you'll save a lot of $$. The food here is phenomenal. You'll find just about everything you've ever wanted to eat all in one place! Not to mention that the casino is quite lively and clean. The pool is beautiful and some rooms have a gorgeous view looking out towards Manila Bay. Most definitely coming back here!!

So we ordered our dinner from Namsan which is around 3.5 stars; then we bought mango leche flan for dessert from the Patisserie. I have to say that the leche flan is just 1 star for me. It's like gelatin, which is an insult to leche flan, seriously. They should call it mango jello; that's how bland it was.

We stayed her for one night the day after our wedding. The suite that we got was beautiful, very spacious, and has an amazing view of Manila Bay. It has a counter top for eating and has utensils you can use. I love how they have Ferregamo toiletries. We would stay here again when we come back to Manila. Worth every penny. :)

I've only been to Solaire Resort & Casino twice, and can I just say, it's so nice here! For both times, we just watched shows in the Solaire Theater; the first time was during the Chicago Musical (which was AMAZING by the way!) and a concert more recently (Alt-J which is also AMAZING.) Both times was a delight. The elevators were a bit tricky though, the levels are confusing (Lol, trust me, we weren't the only ones okay?) but after that, everything went pretty smoothly. The theater itself was so nice and intimate, perfect setting for a musical but slightly weird for a concert. When Alt-J started playing, everyone on the first floor just went to the front, which is how concerts normally are. I guess it depends on the band? Hmm. I've never been to the casino side of Solaire though, probably should on my next visit. Heard it's super fun!

Solaire resort and casino is a great establishment because of all the restaurants inside it. I am not fond of the design since I think it is a bit too much and they have very low ceilings. I feel like it can get too crowded and the way they designed the traffic that people will cruise along is a little bit weird. People bump into each other a lot. Ironically, the best thing about this place isn't the casino, but the restaurants inside it. They have STRIP steakhouse (famous for its expensive but really good steak) and of course, the lucky noodles restaurant. The Lucky Noodles restaurant serves really good Asian food, not too oily and I'm pretty sure they don't put (at least on a lot) of MSG, so the flavors are naturally delightful. I recommend that you order their Crispy Shrimp and their Dried Egg Noodles series. The only time I will come back here is that if I am dining at any of the restaurants.

Solaire is and will always be one of my favorite casinos in Metro Manila. Even with big competition from Resorts World or the newly built City of Dreams, Solaire offers a different vibe, which, believe it or not, is actually family-friendly. I love that their slot machines are not as noisy as the Las Vegas-style ones you'll find in City of Dreams. Unlike the other two bigwigs of gambling in the area, Solaire has a Food Court where kids under 18 can hang out until 10pm. And here's the kicker, the food there is really good! The pizzas are huge and tasty, I love their chili cheesedog, too! Since they have a patisserie, American food, a chicken rotisserie, Filipino food, Korean, Pan-Asia and more, you can really mix and match your choices. My favorite oddball combo is the Kimchi fried rice with their Buffalo wings. An order of Kimchi fried rice is so big it can feed 3 to 4 people. Since this is a food court, the selection is pretty affordable (you can have a filling lunch or dinner for under P250) and the seating is really comfortable so you can stay there with younger kids for a few hours and they don't mind waiting while the adults are playing. Speaking of slots, I seem to always be in luck when playing at Solaire. The machines payout big.

Solaire is probably one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, however, has one of the worst customer services I've experienced: 1. My family booked a single room with a double bed. Once we checked in they were overbooked and was not able to give us a room with a double bed. Instead we were given a room with a single bed for a family of 5, and was told they would let us know if a room became available. Needless to say we were never notified. 2. We wanted to swim, so we checked out their pool. Only to find out you are only allowed 3 guests per room to use the pool. For every additional guest you have to pay 1000 pesos ($20 ~). 3. The pool had SO MANY rules every 5 min I swear a life guard was coming up to us telling us we couldn't do this we couldn't do that... Apparently there is a dress code you have to follow in order to swim and certain types of clothing materials that weren't allowed. 4. The service at the pool was okay. For my cousins and I being only one of the few people there ordering drinks it took them about 20-30 min to bring us our drinks. In my opinion pouring 3 tequila shots and making 3 cocktails shouldn't take that long if there are literally hardly to zero guests present let alone ordering drinks from the bar. 5. Lastly I was told I could not sit outside and read my book by the taxi waiting area... Several workers had passed me, eyeing me so I had a feeling something was up. I asked the employee if there was any other area I could sit outside and read. (I did not want to read inside because it was too cold and the smell of smoke makes me dizzy) He asked if I was staying at the hotel and I said, "I was. My family just checked out and I am waiting for them to finish gambling." When he didn't answer my question I asked again and he just ignored it and laughed, so I just walked away. If people can smoke in a designated area, pollute the economy, and damage their health surely a girl can quietly enjoy the nice weather and read her book. I did not see what the problem was. Traveling to the Philippines for the first time with my cousins I was hoping for a better hotel experience considering they always raved about their amazing experiences in the past. My family are card holders apparently who frequently visit and stay at the hotel, so I'm sure the next time I visit we'll unfortunately be staying at Solaire again. I can just hope their employees will provide better customer service the next time around.

Unbelievably good. Possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The casino is 5 stars as well top notch gaming with lots of variety. I stayed in the sky tower for 5 days and I didn't want to leave at the end. The staff are in a class of their own. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms themselves are beautifully appointed with all the modern cons and are spotlessly clean. I will definitely be staying here again. Do yourself a favour and go for a visit!!

This is the third time having our staycation this year in this hotel. There are several reasons why we keep on coming back. The rooms are clean, smells fresh, staff are friendly and offers a variety of cuisine. We stayed last Feb, May and now July. The first time we stayed here, we got the room on 11th floor facing Manila Bay. It was a great view. The second stay was on the 10th floor in the same tower, Bay Tower. Now we're staying in fifth floor, still in Bay Tower. If you're staying in this tower, I strongly suggest that you get the one facing the bay, because if you get the other side all you'll see is the roof of a building and a parking building. Manila Bay is known for its beautiful sunset so be sure to be in the right place to see it. You can also see the bay if you go to the pool area. I'm really not a fan swimming but it sure is a good place to relax, take photos and dine. We're looking forward for another stay in this hotel again soon.

I'm not really big on casinos considering that I don't really know how play cards or just simply gamble, but in the past two years, I've paid visits to Solaire so many times than I have even been to several casinos in my entire life...and it's worth it. It's nice, classy, big and CLEAN. Resorts World Manila used to be all that, but since Solaire got into the picture, it just changed everything for me. To be honest, I even like Solaire more than City of Dreams (considering that it's the newest one, and the best, as they say). Apart from the casino being nice and fancy, they also have restaurants that are sure to blow you away. I've had the opportunity to dine in most of them, and wow, do they serve food that is way over the top. I've visted Yakumi (Japenese), Strip (Steakhouse) and Fresh (international buffet). I could say that they were all so worth it. They also have Chinese and Italian restaurants there that I have yet to try! I personally love going to Solaire because even if the entire casino accommodates smokers, I'm sure to leave the venue not smelling like an ashtray. It's actually bearable to walk around there. It's nice and bright and has a really nice ambiance.

Solaire Resort and Casino is hands down one of my favorite hotels in the city. In comparison to Resorts World Manila, it far outshines the aforementioned. It's classier, bigger, brighter. The restaurants on their own are next level -- I've tried several of them and they are nothing less than superb and an absolute delight to savor. I like walking through Solaire simply because I don't feel like I'm in crowded, constricted Manila. The hotel rooms are great too. All in all, I can't complain and I'm always to make the trip out here for the experience that it brings.

This Casino is clean and doesn't smell Smokey at all. They are very slow in the bar though. It takes forever to get your drink and your bill. Even when there are no customers. The look of this casino is nice.

The first time I went to Solaire was when my father wanted to check out the casino. I found the place to be really great although I didn't get to look around much. I was blessed with free tickets to a musical held in their theatre so I asked a friend to come with me. During my walk to the theatre, I was able to see the interior of the hotel and it was very classy and modern. When I finally got there, I then watched the play. The theatre was very nice and the seats were very comfortable. I also liked the snack bar where we stayed during the intermission. They had a good selection of refreshments and snacks. After the show finished, my friend and I decided to explore the place. Our final stop was the casino and I realized that I have never really seen much till that night. The place really looked like some of the casinos I saw in Vegas. It had high ceilings and big open spaces. It felt like we weren't in a Manila casino. The place really looked great! Can't wait to go back and see more!
