We rented out the full property for a company retreat. The property offered lots of options for causal gathering spaces and after hours activities. Danielle was great to work with and was super flexible with helping us meet our needs. The amenities were great, everything we needed in the kitchen, bath, and comfortable beds. We appreciated the privacy and flexibility the site offered, along with a great atmosphere for building team comradery. Site was also located close to shopping and restaurants , along with several popular destinations.

This place is the real deal. Solana Spanish Villas gave us an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. If you’re hosting a big group in Tucson, don’t even think twice. This is where you want to stay. The space was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully set up. Every detail made it feel comfortable and welcoming. The layout made it easy for everyone to spend time together while still having room to spread out. It felt like home in all the best ways, with a relaxing vibe and a touch of Arizona charm. The hosts were on point. Check-in was easy, communication was clear, and everything we needed was already provided. No stress, no confusion, just a smooth and enjoyable stay. I would absolutely recommend Solana Spanish Villas to anyone bringing a group to Tucson. Family trip, wedding weekend, getaway with friends, whatever the reason, this place delivers. I already want to book it again.

Absolutely the best venue for 40+ people over four nights for a wedding. Everyone had their own villa, room, kitchen, etc. We gathered at the pool, played pickleball, there was a one-on-one basketball tournament, ax-throwing - you name it we had a blast. Culminated in a wedding and reception all in one spot. If you are looking for a venue to accommodate several, don't overlook this property.

Incredible venue! 10x prettier than I imagined. We did a wedding here and had 32 friends and family stay on the property. The amenities were perfect and the hosts very helpful. I highly highly recommend staying here!

We’re having our destination wedding in October and booked the Villas so we can spend the weekend with our guests.||Their summer pricing was phenomenal, so I decided to stay for several days while meeting with other vendors this week. It was the best decision ever! I was able to get a “feel” for the property and how we can best utilize the space. They allowed me to tour all of the spaces that weren’t occupied and even gave me a sneak peak of what’s to come! I only wish I had found this perfect desert gem months sooner so we could have our ceremony and reception here!!||I can’t wait to see how they transform the new addition! I’ll post another review after our wedding in October, but from what I’ve seen and how great the owners have been through our process, I’d highly recommend that anyone planning a special event doesn’t sleep on this one!!||The Tanque Verde valley is so peaceful and serene! I spent every evening on the private patio of Casita 7 admiring the perfectly lit trees and listening to the wildlife around me! I can’t even explain how excited I am for my guests to come and enjoy their time here!||The beds are extremely comfortable and the casita was nice and cool when I wanted to get in from the heat! The pool was the perfect temperature and the addition of the cabanas was definitely a bonus!

This is such a special slice of history tucked into a beautiful property with fantastic amenities. Each villa/casita is thoughtfully stocked and beautifully decorated, blending the perfect balance of contemporary and rustic styles in one cohesive and cozy space. We enjoyed the various seating areas around our villa, sipping coffee in the mornings and listening to the bird calls, and took a refreshing dip in the pool to cool off in the afternoon. Danielle and John are the gold star standard for hospitality, and were quick to provide local recommendations, history of the property, and prompt response to a brief issue we experienced with our water. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This place is a total gem, and we're looking forward to staying again in the fall!

This was my second stay at the lovely Solana Spanish Villas. These charming villas have been carefully and beautifully remodeled retaining their southwest "dude/guest ranch" character. The owners couldn't be more friendly and responsive. Thank you John and Danielle for sharing the history and your vision for the Villas, you obviously take pride in this Tanque Verde gem.

If I could give John and Danielle 10 stars, I would. We held my mother's celebration of life here and it was unforgettable and perfect. We have a very close knit family and were able to enjoy the amazing grounds together, the pool, pickleball, darts and much more while reminiscing about my sweet mom. We felt very safe staying in the casitas and were able to effectively entertain the amount of people that came for food after my mom's funeral service. The back turf area was magical at night at with all the lighting on the trees, the hammocks and corn hole. Danielle doted on me as though I was a bride and every single detail, even last minute she executed and made the event and our stay absolutely perfect. She was an angel during a difficult time and we will be back to stay here whenever we are in Tucson and expect to throw our next family reunion here. It truly is a compound of adventure, fun and comfort for families and business events to enjoy! We love this place and the hosts!

Where do I begin? This gem is almost too good to share (I want to keep it to myself...hahaha). The proper thing to do is to share this amazing property with the world! The owners are helpful and available for whatever you may need. The grounds are phenomenal and beautifully kept. There is so much to do, from Pickleball to swimming or the life-size chess board (right near the hammocks). It's gated, it's private, and they even have an EV charging station. I could write a novel about all the wonderful things, and I cannot wait to go back. And for those of us who hate bringing dirty clothes home in our suitcases, they have two (2) laundry rooms! Everything is so thoughtfully done.
