Solar de la Quebrada

We arrived in Humahuaca with no bookings and found this place after checking many other hostels and bed and breakfasts. We couldn't have found a better place. Handy to everything (granted, Humahuaca is very small), spotlessly clean and with nice touches in the rooms and the sitting areas. There is also a patio/solarium which seemed inviting, Wi Fi (slow in the bedrooms but OK in the bar), and hot water 24 hours. We liked the regional breakfast with homemade jams. The staff is very knowledgeable of the area and eager to recommend attractions, far better than the very unhelpful tourist information. In all, a great experience.

There are a few basics I expect from any hotel - a comfortable bed and a hot shower are the most important. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, with a portable heater to combat the cool evening air. Sadly in the morning the shower was cold, which let the hotel down. An electric shower in each room would surely be an easy fix for this. The breakfast was basic but okay. Location-wise, couldn't be better with close proximity to bars and restaurant. Tip - don't miss the Mirador Hornocal nearby - stunning.

Good location, near the Monument and a few blocks from the church and main square, make this a good choice for visiting Humahuaca. We stayed in a triple room (#7) downstairs, with no real view, but there is a nice shared patio to use that has a beautiful view.||The breakfast was simple but good: fruit salad, orange juice, cheese, medialunas and toast with coffee (which was rather good) and tea.||The receptionist was helpful and friendly. Parking was on the street in front of the hotel. There are nice "northern" touches like the use of the cardón cactus in the decorations and the furniture using the fabrics from the area. Our room had a mural on one wall. ||The WiFi is not strong and we could not access it from our (downstairs) room.||the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. All in all, a nice place to stay when visiting Humahuaca.

The room was ok, but there were a few things hat really pulled down the rating. First the breakfast was horrible,hard bread and a minuscule amount of cheese. The second problem was the shower which was super slow to drain making you feel dirty after your shower. Third was super slow wifi and not at all in the room. Conviently located and it was quiet. Sadly disappointed for the cost of the room.

We stayed here for one night after arriving in town with no reservation. Staff were generally friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, shower was hot. Breakfast was ok, wifi was average. But overall a very nice stay.

Basic motel. ||Small, friendly reception, parking in streets in area.||Lacked warm water, shaky shower.||Low price so not much to complain seen the value for money.||TV is working fine. ||Not much noice reduction so if the other visitors aren't so quiet as you like, then...||We kept the heating in bathroom kept running as can be cold in winter.||We stopped the heating in the sleeping room during night.||Very basic breakfast.

We stayed in still hotel for one night on route to Bolivia. The room was basic and had a view of washing hanging from the neighbour but no big deal. A very basic breakfast was provided but all edible.

I've been there with a group of friends. We had a really good time in this small hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and there is a friendly atmosphere. A really good choice, even for couples!
