Hello, after staying from 08.02.24 to 10.02.24 in Solaria Apartments, Davos, Switzerland, we received an email three hours after departure informing us that they are deducting the amount of 400 CHF for damage to property, namely a chair that is stuck in the back part. They also attach photographic material. The email also describes the order in which we tore the damask, namely by moving it across the floors and due to the narrowness of the doors because we were two families accommodated on different floors. After a conversation with the manager and an explanation from our side that there was no need to move any chairs on the floors because there are two additional ones on the existing terraces to the apartment, this is not necessary. said that it doesn't matter and for him it's our fault. When we wanted to see the chair, it was brought by their employee. Asking him from which room the chair was brought, he told us a room with a different 2003 than ours, but that didn't matter to him either .Here it was Switzerland and such were the conditions. Nowhere on the site are the terms and conditions of use announced. We did not receive an inventory of the property to receive and an inventory to issue. We insisted on calling a representative of the local police, who after hearing did not take any police and explained that the case is not within their competence. This left a bitter aftertaste from the otherwise excellent experience of our stay! We have been guests several times in Solaria, now our friends came with us, who were disappointed by the behavior of the owner of the property. We were left with the insult of the accusation that we had committed damage to property without proving it! What we see is that after the repairs were made, there is a protective band up to half the wall. The chair was three years old, it probably got rubbed over time, but we did not expect such an attitude. We want to warn
all future and current customers of the complex should inspect all furniture from all sides in detail, including floors, walls, lighting and electrical appliances, so that they do not suffer our fate. We ask for legal help from all interested parties to clear the good name and reputation of local tourism! We remain with good feelings for all Swiss people who work tirelessly to make their guests and customers feel satisfied with their stay in your wonderful country!
With the best feelings, the Mihalevi family!
