Soldiers Motel

This long established motel is in a handsome stone building in the centre of town. The design of the rooms has a distinct 1970's feel about them. The rooms are large and have been routinely renovated. The furnishings are of good quality. There is plenty of space for luggage as well as bench and table space. The shower is over the bathtub.

Rooms tidy and clean|Beds are comfortable|Staff are friendly and helpful.|Walking distance to most clubs, pubs, restaurants, cafes, Big W, Boutique shops.

Lovely clean friendly motel. Comfortable bed & pillows. Offered Tea , Coffee, Biscuits, Toaster, Jug, & Microwave. Staff very helpful & friendly - nothing seemed to be a bother to them more than happy to assist in whatever capacity they could. Location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to centre of town, Woolworths next street over. Located at the rear of Club Mudgee a 2 minute walk. Also have a really nice swimming pool on the premises.

Great clean motel in a very convenient location across from the pub and next to the club.||The wifi was good|along with the parking.||The reception ladies were very friendly. The pool looked clean but did not use it as it appeared cold.||Daily cleaning was great.

It was very good value for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Motel and surrounding grounds were clean and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. Walking distance to facilities. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again.

Excellent service, Old motel but it’s clean. Reception staff ( Asian lady) is very accomodating very helpful. Left our keys in the room and call the after hours office (around 3am 😊) . Sorry we didn’t get your name. Thank you for your warm hospitality, for listening and making sure we were all safe. She spend half an hour checking on us and making sure we were all okay (after we had to much to drink 😂)||||We will definitely staying in this motel and have a good chat with her again.

Beautiful Rhea and her staff at Soldiers Motel are warm & friendly. Recommend booking directly with the hotel (bad experience with Bookings.com) but Rhea was able to sort it out so graciously. The rooms are well appointed , super clean & comfortable and the pool is fantastic in the summer heat! Would totally recommend staying here and booking direct with the hotel. Easy walk to town center etc. Will be back

Excellent motel very centrally located. I stayed 25&26 March 2025 in ground floor room 14. Room was spacious and beds comfortable. Staff lady was helpful and generous with my arrival access time. I would definitely stay here again when visiting fabulous Mudgee
