"A Chic Escape from the Crowds This tiny hybrid wine shop–cum–wine bar has impressed many local vino lovers with its intimate ambience, tasty mezes, and friendly service from general managerSuleyman Er and his team. It hasimported and local wines available to consume on-site or take away at discounted prices, and it'sperfect for a late-afternoon escape from the crowds of İstiklal Avenue—just 300 feet away—a pre-dinner drink, or a nightcap."

The best kept secret in town! This little wine bar is just fantastic! We were treated well, they asked us what wine we like and then matched the cheese with it. A really nice little place ‘off the grid’ but still in the city and easy to reach. Do yourself a favour and have a lovely wine! And … great prices too!

Stumbled along this place after trying coffee lab across the street. Stocks primarily Turkish wines that we really enjoyed. Chat GPT helped out with our first picks, did very well. Then the server was able to help pick out additional wines. We actually tried a single glass each then walked to the Galata Tower for a scheduled tour, which was pretty cool. Then we walked back the 15 minutes to try dinner and another glass of wine. Totally recommend this place, prices are more than fair. Both the pesto and regular pasta are good, but had to try their steak as well. Recommend all of them.

Lovely little wine bar, visited midweek afternoon, so understandably quiet. I tried 2 delicious Turkish white wines with grape varieties new to me. The host was very helpful with suggestions. I didn't eat here but saw one of the pasta dishes that looked amazing! Would definitely stop by for lunch next time in town. Oh, and WiFi and clean bathroom a bonus!

Came here for my birthday. I wanted to do a wine tasting to try Turkish wines, but they only had options to buy by glass or bottle. We tried several Turkish wines from different regions and made with indigenous grapes. The prices per glass were reasonable, so we were able to try and have our own kind of tasting. Now, I wish I could find some of those Turkish wines in the US!

If you’re looking for the perfect combination of a mouthwatering steak and exceptional wine, the Solera Winery is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The steak here is nothing short of perfection and it was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was just right, enhancing the natural taste of the meat without overpowering it. What truly elevates the dining experience is the restaurant’s extensive wine list. They offer a wide variety of reds and whites from Turkish wine regions, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helping you select the perfect pairing. Overall, Solera Winery offers an outstanding combination of perfectly prepared steaks and a curated selection of wines that will impress even the most discerning food and wine lovers. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We went here on a whim at the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad we did! It's a cute little spot that's a little dark on the inside but with great vibes. We opted to split two wine flights that were red and white wines. The staff did a great job of explaining each wine and gave us a book in English to read about Turkish wines. They took credit card and two wine flights was only a little over $13 USD!

Yelp
Mostly they have varied and tasty wine from Turkey, we accompanied the wine with a meza plate that was absolutely delicious. Very nice ambiance to have fun and chatting with people.

Yelp
Solera is a wine bar located in Beyoğlu, Istanbul. It's a small, but not a quiet place that offers mostly indoor but also some outdoor seating. They offer wines from around Türkiye as well as some small dishes. My friend introduced me to Solera Winery in fall 2019 and it quickly became my favorite place to go for a drink. It's located in a young and hipster-ish neighborhood so there's always people walking around the neighborhood and usually waiting outside. The inside is small and only has a few tables. I'm not complaining, actually I think this makes the bar feel more close or even romantic, if you're on a date. In terms of drinks, there actually a pretty large menu of wine to pick from. I personally love the fruit wines so I've tried the nar, vişne, and karadut wines from both Trakya and Denizli. They're all lovely! However, my favorite of all is the sicak şarap. It's the perfect winter drink or drink on a cold evening. It's honestly the best sicak şarap that I've tried in Istanbul. For food, they offer small platers and even dinner dishes. I've only tried the charcuterie plate with meats and cheese, and it's pretty good.

Yelp
Me thinks Turkish wine does NOT agree with me since both nights I had it, after just a glass, I'd see dark spots clouding my vision. Just super weird. That's not stopping me, however, from giving kudos to this wine spot. While the by the glass selection is not as expansive as Sensus Şarap next to Galata Tower, the intimate feel of this place is much more to my liking. We enjoyed our crepe dessert, which was surprisingly not at all the potential disaster we were anticipating. The cool part was the travel photography along the walls that I later overheard were taken by the owner himself. My traveler heart fluttered in the presence of a fellow wanderluster. The absolute coolest part of the wine bar was its mascot, the owner's adorably sweet mega fluff of a cat! If you didn't know, cats and dogs are well loved in Istanbul and unafraid of humans. I don't remember her name, but towards the end of the night, she wandered about as she pleased, cozying up to as many patrons' legs and extended hands for some princess attention. Just an all around memorable time despite my apparent allergy to their primary product!

Yelp
A sweet gem in a street in Istanbul. Loads of local Turkisk wine. Both reds and whites. Small place with approx 15 small tables. Easy to get to, but a bit easy to walk by the first time. We told what sorts of wines we like to drink and got a nice redwine. Suites our taste buds perfectly. Had some cheese as well. Nomnom. Actually came back the day after with our friends and had a lovely time. I highly recommend this place is you are a winelover as me. Loads to choose from and the owner (I think it was him) knows his way around wines. Open til 2 am. Go go!:)

Yelp
Decent little spot in Beyoglu - good wine selection (and there's a map on the menu so you can see which region the wines are from). Loved the opportunity to try Turkish wines, both cold and hot/as sangria. Yum! The pizzas were great too. I particularly liked the quattro formaggio and the salmon pizza. The meat one was good as well (I forget the name but it's like cured beef or ham on there). Free wifi, and a nice warm spot to hang out and drink w/ friends on a cold night. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Many thanks to an "eatinerary" from Culinary Backstreets for recommending this gem in Beyoglu. We stopped here before dinner for drinks and had an awesome experience. The server was really pleasant and the atmosphere was nice, cute and relaxing. It's on a quiet street off the main pedestrian/shopping street so the location is good too. We each enjoyed a glass of Turkish wine and shared the cheese place, the price was around the equivalent of $10USD per person. Amazing!! If you're a tourist like we were and you're staying in Sultanahmet don't make the same mistake we did after we got off the tram... Take the Tunel funicular up the hill, don't walk. You'll just end up tired, hot and sweaty. It took maybe 2x-3x the time listed in the google walking directions.

Yelp
İf you want to try surprisingly good Turkish wine, this place made for that. Personal is not just very nice, friendly, funny but also gladly will help you to choose from 200 different types of Turkish wine they have, that one special for you in which you will fall in love from first sip. Besides atmosphere is just amazing, place is small, you might share your table with people you dont know but who will become your dear friends after some wine and warm talks.

Yelp
Definitely a fun, classy wine bar - one of a kind in this area, I'd say. They take their wine seriously. Not the biggest spot, but if you're lucky, you'll get a coveted spot in the nick of time. Otherwise, it's worth the wait if you're going classy and unique.

Yelp
A nice place for glass of wine and a snack. The wine and food is local (Turkish), so don't expect Spanish tapas or Italian dried meats. It's not cheap, but the wine selection is wide and there are good chances that you find something you like. Ask the staff, they will help you find a wine you like. If you just want a bottle of wine to bring home for your dinner, then they will help you as well and let you try a few different options before you choose.

Yelp
Discovery of turkish wine. Very nice, intimate place with great playlist and very good wine and small bites at affordable price.

Yelp
Great winery with a nice atmosphere. You get nice wines and good recommendations from the staff. The wines are reasonably priced und the food looks good and tastes even better. Price for one cheese plate is 20 Tl. We came here twice because we liked it a lot. On a Friday night we stayed until 2 am. You should definitely try the French pancake if you visit solera.

Yelp
Lovely, affordable, unique wines and very interesting tapas. We had cheeses that we didn't love (just not very impressive) but were pleased with their Turkish mezze and meats. The wines were affordable by the bottle as well as by the glass- really liked the chart showing where all the Turkish wines were from. Cute interior design and welcoming staff.

Yelp
Turkish wine selections. Best steak in town.friendly staff and always accommodating. Suleyman the owner often recommends wines if unsure of menu and regions. Mezes are good and paired with wines.
