Solferino

We had an amazing time having lunch at this restaurant. Not only the food was great, but also the staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also really nice and allowed us to feel how Christmas celebrations are beginning here in Milan. Thank you!

We have been coming to Milan for years and Il Solferino is a mainstay. As usual, for dinner we shared the steak Florentine Angus steak for two. It was perfection, as always. The restaurant décor and atmosphere are always fantastic. The highly professional waitstaff and hosts are welcoming and always make for a thoroughly memorable and enjoyable time.

delicious risotto. excellent service from our well dressed waiter in crisp white linen. we appreciated the white and green decor. with a glass of chardonnay and a side of asparagus, it was a perfect lunch on a late summers day.

Had an amazing Artichoke salad and risotto. Also loved all the flowers. The rastaurant is full of fresh flowers. It was Saturday, they change them every Saturday. Lovely staff also. Thank you!

Il Solferino is a lovely little restaurant in Milan. It's definitely for special occasions, as it's refined and classy. The service is beyond outstanding, full of humour and good nature. The outdoor sheltered and heated area is a delight to eat in, even when it's not the full blush of summer. The wine list is extensive with something to suit all budgets from 35 to over a thousand euros, and the house wine selection by the glass was delightful. All three courses were expertly handled and showcased fine Italian food at its best. You pay a little more to go to Il Solferino, but it's worth it for such an incredible evening.
