Solly Hôtel Paris

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were spacious and the renovated, clean bathrooms with marble finishes were a nice added touch. Great services from the front desk team like many other reviews have stated. Especially Edwige was super friendly and helpful, as was Paul! We would definitely come back should we be back in Paris!

We had an amazing experience here. The concierge was incredible and so flexible with us, especially after we had a passport mishap and needed to push the trip back a bit. It was perfect for what we needed, in a great location. The rooms are definitely on the smaller side, but they’re super clean and exactly what we were looking for.

My spouse and I recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights on a trip to Paris. We reserved a small room as we typically do not spend much time there. The room worked fine for us, although one side of the bed was blocked with a wall, which meant I had to crawl in from the foot of the bed. It was not a problem, but it would not work for someone with limited mobility. The room was well supplied, very clean and comfortable. The location is near many commonly visited sites and there is a Metro station a half block away (although it does not have a lift or escalator). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old, so don't expect lots of modern conveniences (the lift is very small). We were not inconvenienced at all by this, and thought it added to the charm of the hotel. We will stay here again when we next visit Paris. One caveat-if someone in your party has mobility issues, check with the staff when you book a room to make sure you reserve one that will meet your needs. Thanks to everyone at Solly who made our stay extra special.

Rooms can be very small - but the location and service are great! Pro tip: If you care about extra space, ask for a room that does not have a view or is disability access. Forego the view for rooms that are actually quite spacious for Paris standards. I've stayed here a few times (for short stays only) and it has worked well. I don't know if I would book longer stays, however, as the pillows are pretty hard.

Highly recommended, this is the best hotel we've stayed at in our three trips to Paris. Fantastic location in the bustling Le Marais neighborhood, with no shortage of cafes and restaurants nearby. The Réaumur-Sébastopol and Strasbourg-Saint Denis metro stations are within easy walking distance. The daily breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cozy and clean and the beds very comfortable. We are already planning to stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

We stayed at the Solly Hotel for the first leg of our honeymoon. The rooms are tight (as are all Paris hotel rooms) but well appointed and comfortable. What really makes this hotel stand out is the staff and the location. The staff were wonderful in answering all of our questions and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. It’s right next to a metro station, which made it easy to get to all the spots we wanted to see. Highly highly recommend!

The hotel was in a good location. It was close to a metro station. The breakfast buffet was very nice. We stayed in the comfort park view with a small balcony. The room was very small. The small closet could just fit 2 coats, so our clothes had to stay in our suitcases. The bathroom was very tiny but looked like it was recently redone. There was no fridge in the room and if you wanted water they had a pitcher in the room that you could go downstairs to the kitchen to fill up. There is one very tiny elevator, so be prepared to take the stairs if it is being used by anyone else. All in all it wasn't a terrible stay but for almost 500 USD a night there are better choices in Paris.

Concierge desk was extremely efficient and welcoming. They helped with reservations, airport pickup, etc. Hotel was very clean and modern. The hotel used to be someone’s house, so very Parisian! They also have a handicap accessible room on the ground floor that was very large. Would highly recommend!
