Solnamara Beachfront Apartments

We stayed recently in a three bedroom apartment, apartment was ok but showing signs of a long-term holiday rental with small items in need of attention but nothing that would ruin a holiday. Check in staff were ok, overall cleanliness was adequate. However we were not informed at booking of the new apartment construction next door, 7am to 5pm weekdays a drill rig, concrete pump, excavator and other items non stop... luckily we were out during a large part of the day Friday but unfortunately still had the noise during the morning. I understand the construction is not under solnamara's control, but the communication to their guests is. Light rail is also causing some road closure in the area at the moment, it will be a good transportoptionwhen finished. Burleigh is a great location if you're looking to relax, nice surf clubs ( discount at one when staying with solnamara ), supermarkets and cafe's. Would be better staying here when there's no construction.

The one we stayed in is definitely not 4 star. The living and kitchen are nice minus the stained lounges, but the laundry is still rocking is 70s tiles and the bathroom updates probably done in the 90s are looking tired. Unfortunately we have sugar ants come into the kitchen too. The one aircon. doesn't cool the second bedroom well. The good things: the staff are lovely and the apartment was clean.

We spent 3 nights here as part of a recent Australian touring holiday. We absolutely loved our huge beach front apartment, we'd happily exchange it for our house in the UK :) We arrived after 6pm so check in was via the safe outside the main entrance. We were left clear instructions on email so this was really straight forward. The basement car park and parking space was really handy. The apartment was huge, clean and modern. The view of the ocean (and sounds!) were amazing and something that we will cherish in our memories. We used Burleigh Heads as a base for visits to Currumbin Wildlife park and for a general nosy along the Gold Coast. We found it a great base to reach these places with ease.

We weren’t told that next door they are building another high rise. Everyday we were woken at 6:30am to drilling. It continued until 4:30pm each day. After spending $2200 for the week. Without being told. Won’t be back.

Solnamara is are only choice for accomodation at Burleigh now. Christine is such a wonderful hostess and the rooms and views fabulous. Love the position as well. Just a bit noisey at present due to construction next door

We booked for three days at Solnamara Beachfront Apartments and were incredibly impressed by the outstanding service. Nothing was too much trouble—the staff went above and beyond, which is rare to see these days! Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday on the Gold Coast.

If you’re heading to the Gold Coast, look no further. Do yourself a favour and book with the delightful Christine. This place has the most spectacular views to wake up to with great spacious apartments. We had 4 adults & one very active 13 month old toddler, who loved watching all the activity below. The bedrooms were almost sound proof and well designed. The apartment has everything you need for a great time away. There’s a supermarket & the North Burleigh award winning surf club restaurant and cafe bar within easy walking distance. Although we ordered Woolies on line ready for our arrival and lovely Christine took care of the delivery and even placed our fridge items away! Both Christine & Brian continued to go above and beyond and made our time there a wonderful experience, thank you 🙏🏻 and I would definitely recommend this place for a great stay!

I have stayed at Solnamara on a number of occasions now with family(sons & their families) The hosts are very friendly & accommodating. The rooms are always clean & the views of parks & ocean are fantastic. The room costs are very affordable as well. We never want to leave when it's time to go. We love this part of Burleigh Heads & Solnamara tops off the experience. I hope to stay there many more times in future.

My wife found this apartment complex online back in California while looking for somewhere to stay for our vacation in Australia recently.It turned out to have terrific views out front to the ocean and back to the Gold Coast hinterland.Our 2 bedroom apartment on the 9th floor was immaculately presented,particularly the kitchen and bathrooms.The rest of the furnishings were a bit dated and worse for wear and the balcony was way too small to be enjoyable.The complex had very good key tab security all the way from the underground car park right up to our front door.We could walk across the road and there was the beautiful beach.The biggest problem for us was the God awful noise every night except Sunday night coming up to our apartment from the very busy Gold Coast highway a couple of hundred yards away.The windows are obviously not double glazed as one would expect in America at a location so close to a major artery.On a positive note there are plenty of things to do and see nearby such as breakfast cafes and bicycle rentals.The onsite managers Paul and his wife Sandra were very helpful considering they had only been in the job 2 weeks.
