By far the best hotel in Helsinki! This was my second visit. The first one was in the fall of 1987 and once again it delivered. From Thomas and Anti at the front desk to Sarry's smile at the OR Restaurant with a morning stop for breakfast in the stylish dining room, everything was perfect. The views from the rooms and the panoramic lounge are simply breathtaking. Book your room now, think later 💥 Thank you again for making my stay truly special 37 years later. I can't wait to come back 🤩

This is hands down the quietest hotel I ever stayed in. I was on the ninth floor and it was a total haven of peace and comfort. Ideal for working and business trips, really really cosy. Staff were very nice too, but its the silence that you really notice- I never travel anywhere without my ear plugs and even though my room was directly opposite the elevator, I didn't hear a thing.

Not sure if the person giving a 1 star review was drunk, this is one of the best city hotels I have stayed at in this range. Beautifully and softly renovated hotel from the 1920/30s, keeping its historic charm, perfect location for exploring the city, friendly and authentic staff, delicious breakfast and spotlessly clean. The rooftop bar as well as the other bars and lounges are design gems. Not sure what else you could possibly want from a city hotel (maybe a pool but the ocean and the saltwater pools are just 10 min walk away). Highly recommend. And for the comment regarding no bottled water in the rooms: Welcome to Finland, the tap water is clean and “its all you can drink”.

I've stayed here many times over the years but first time back since 2018. There have been lots of changes (I walked past reception!) with the hotel getting lots of modernisation. It still has the charm though - the old lift; the bar at the top. ||Breakfast as before is lovely and the overall ambience is stylish and understated. Ideal for me. ||Location is right in centre of town.||Will always book here.

Really elegant rooms and public spaces. Our suite was delightful, with a decent-sized bathroom and walk in shower, no bath. Comfortable bed, good linen, nice pillows, advanced controls of lighting, which is helpful. Really excellent buffet breakfast. There's a rooftop bar open to all, not just guests, with great views and good cocktails (we only had one, royal mojito, so I generalise). Very good front desk, with helpful staff who not only found us the really nice suite but also recommended a very picturesque Finnish restaurant for the evening. Would happily return.

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Torni was disappointing. If you’re looking for peace and quiet at night, this is definitely not the place to stay. The noise from the nearby clubs lasted until 4 a.m., making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. When we raised the issue with the staff, they merely explained that they were already in discussions with the bar across the street. However, this doesn’t help guests like us, who are only staying for the weekend. The hotel made no effort to offer a solution or provide a different room. This place might be suitable for partygoers who don’t go to bed until 4 or 4:30 in the morning, but we cannot recommend it.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Torni from back in 2008, always a fabulous stay, this time we took the King Suite and stayed for 10 days 27 Dec - 5 Jan, the room was spacious, comfortable bed, bathroom all good except the bidet shower did not work, excellent location to the city centre, amazing views from the sky bar, American bar for cocktails, art deco - all in all an amazing building

Amazing location! Loved the simplicity of the rooms! It has everything you need without too much effort, the location is amazing, across the street from Stockman and close to so many restaurants. The staff was great and the breakfast plentiful as well. For the price you pay I really cannot fault this hotel!
