From the moment I arrived at Solo Sokos Hotel Torni, I knew I was in for something special. The staff—particularly Thomas, Arna, and the entire team—were nothing short of extraordinary. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made me feel truly welcomed and valued. Every interaction was gracious, thoughtful, and left a lasting impression.||What took my breath away was the stunning personalised welcome: a handwritten note, a beautifully presented cake, and delicate macarons waiting for me at the top-floor lounge. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the experience feel deeply personal and luxurious.||Although the room was on slightly smaller side, it was thoughtfully designed, beautifully appointed, and made for a cosy and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. And what a view! From that top floor, Helsinki unfolded in all its glory—Uspenski Cathedral glowing in the distance, the majestic White Cathedral, and the charming rooftops stretching toward the horizon. It was the perfect place to savour the moment and take in the city’s elegance and beauty.||The combination of world-class hospitality, attention to detail, and unforgettable views made my stay at Hotel Torni one of the highlights of my time in Finland. I can't thank Thomas, Arrna, and the team enough for going above and beyond. I left with a full heart. We will certainly return. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city walking distance to the main station and trams to take you elsewhere. Close to everything you need as well as tons of nice restaurants and cafes. Rooms are sleek and elegant as expected and the beds are super comfy. Breakfast was outstanding. The barley porridge with the homemade blueberry and cardamom jam is divine.

I’ve taken a star off because the room doesn’t have proper blackout shades!! This is of course a must right now (June) when sunset is at 11 pm and sunrise is at 4 am. I was shocked. Apart from that oversight, the location is excellent, the staff is helpful, the gym is decent, the breakfast buffet is good, and the rooms are fine for the price.

This is a excellent modernised Art Deco hotel, with an interesting history in Central Helsinki, a 5 minute walk from the train station and close to all central shopping district. ||Reception staff helpful and attentive. Finnish, English and Swedish seem to be spoken by most staff. Helpful recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing provided by reception and manager. Welcoming and friendly. ||In house restaurant provided and excellent breakfast with good variety of choices with helpful and willing staff. The dinner menu is expansive and delicious. Numerous choices but bellini week menu was a standout surprise. ||King Suite was excellent, and every possible amenity was provided and catered for. The welcoming cocktails and chocolates in the room was a thoughtful touch and very much represented the whole welcoming feel of this hotel. Variety of pillow choices and styles etc. ||If you want to stay in central Helsinki, then i would recommend this hotel for its excellent service and great location.

Good location close to the shopping area, Central station, walking distance to the port. Famous hotel with it's own history and unique climate. Atelier Bar with wonderful views of the city on the roof. Not cheap but worth of money . Excellent desk service . Rooms rather small Breakfast not good as before .

Classic Helsinki property of historical interest. Seems newly refurbished with excellent room standards. Clean, modern rooms, very comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Unusually friendly and helpful staff which really left a good impression.|Rooftop bar nice on a warm day.|I will come back here next time.

I am surprised at the level of service and the available amenities at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located in the City Center close to hundreds of restaurants, bars, and sightseeing locations. The bar at the top offer some of the best views of the city. That is only one of several bars to choose from. Definitely an unexpected surprise.

The rooms are really small and the bed is not so comfy and it looks like. You cannot control the temperature of the bedroom, it does not work. The room clean service is a real basic room clean service. They do not even remove the garbage. There is no SPA, it’s fake. It is announced as 5-star hotel with spa but there is only a spa that works 4 hours a day from Thursday to Sunday. So there is no sauna! There is no sauna in a 5-star Finnish hotel! The breakfast is always the same. There are no fruits or the fruits are always presented in a way that it is difficult to eat (such as a pineapple with peel). The reception is not really 24h. The main entrance remains locked from some period so you may be locked out there if you decide to come back later. There aren’t theree restaurants. There is only one. The other two a two bars that do not serve food and are pretty the same. IT’S NOT A 5-star hotel. DEFINITELY.
