Charming traditional Thai eatery offering a variety of delicious dishes. If possible, try to arrive right when they open, or you might find yourself waiting for your meal as it tends to get busy.

One of the most authentic & delicious meals we had in Bangkok! Super local and dishes we had never seen before. Small, unassuming place, menu is in Thai only but you can choose what you want from the display. We got everything that was recommended to us by a local friend - green Thai curry with freshwater fish balls, pork and mango salad & this amazing rice noodle dish with coconut cream, pineapple and dried shrimp. Mind blown! The sweet server also recommended we get pork noodle with crispy pork fat. Yum! And nice homemade iced tea. All this for under 300฿ 🤯 Go here if you’re looking for a local Thai meal. Highly recommend.

I went there yesterday at 12:40 and แกงเขียวหวานเนื้อ Thai beef green curry was already sold out... Anyway, we ordered 5 dishes (For two). The main dish that you need to try is ขนมจีนซาวน้ำ Kanom jeen sao nahm which is vermicelli with pineapple, coconut milk, raw garlic, chili, and shrimp powder. Their noodles is also great, soft and thin, just right. My favorite is กะเพราเนื้อ Beef stirred fried with Thai holy basils. Another one that you need to try is ข้าวฟางเปียก Kao fang pieak which is similar to a rice pudding but with millet, coconut milk and pandan. Soooo goooood ;)

Typical Thai dishes with authentic taste. The place is small and a bit crowded. Staffs are quite busy, so you might need to spare a little sometime waiting for queuing, ordering and billing.

Decent Thai food, authentic and just really delicious. It can get really crowded at times, but the flow is really good too.

Only 40 baht for the Sukhothat noodle. Portion is moderate. There are peanuts in the soup base and it taste very good. She replaced from meat to Duck eggs for me by my request. Location is hidden in the back alley. Owner lady said open 4 am to 4pm?

Kanom Jeen Sao Nam has many taste, salty from dried shrimp and fish sauce, both sweet and sour from pineapple, lemon, pungent smell from ginger, and richness from coconut milk. Normal service, free iced tea. Table is clean but the one in front of the place has many flies.
