What a hidden gem!! Was searching for a quick bite after exploring Jardins do Palácio de Cristal & came across Soma only a 5 minute walk away. Came for a quick coffee and stayed for a surprisingly delicious (and gorgeous) meal! The menu is Brazilian and Asian fusion. What a beautiful crossover. Would absolutely recommend.

We weren’t too sure what we felt like eating so we ordered a few different plates, the risoni was handsdown amazing, closely followed by the Brazilian cheese bread. All the meals were delicious, I forgot to take photos of before we ate…. Highly recommend!!!

Probably the best brunch in the region. You should absolutely try their Katsu. It is famous for a reason. The coffee tastes great, unlike the usual over-toasted stuff you would find elsewhere. Fair price for the great quality. Friendly and helpful staff, cozy atmosphere. Will return.

A hidden gem…. Amazing all round- the best brunch spot in Porto. The food and service was unbelievably good. All the dishes were lovely and served with warm sourdough! The coffee is also possibly the best in Porto!

Tucked near Palácio de Cristal in the Cedofeita area, Soma has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Porto. The space is beautifully designed—modern industrial with a clean, creative vibe that makes it perfect for getting work done or just enjoying a quiet coffee. The food? Always on point. I usually go for their chicken sandwich (so good!), but recently tried a chicken dish that was just as flavorful and satisfying. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the coffee and the food, but Soma does. The staff are kind, the music’s at a good volume for working or catching up with a friend, and there’s a natural rhythm to the space that feels both relaxed and inspiring. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and want good coffee, solid food, and a thoughtfully designed space.

Sipping on their coffee is like a warm hug for your taste buds—seriously, it’s that good and beautiful! + Oh, and the ambiance? It’s very demure, very mindful, like your favorite cozy blanket . + Most cafés don't have this vibe, but here, it feels like you’re in a chic retreat where even the chairs are comfy. + And the staff? They’re like coffee fairies—swift, friendly, and they’ll make you feel like a VIP with every sip! Speaking of good vibes, the food is not only beautiful but also delicious, making it hard to choose what to order! + Outside, there’s a lovely patio perfect for kids and pets to enjoy—it's a family-friendly paradise! + Make sure to keep an eye out for the owners; they are always super attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. + All in all, Soma is the perfect spot for a chill day with great coffee, tasty food, and a welcoming atmosphere!

If you're in Porto and looking for the ultimate brunch spot, look no further than Soma. This place is a gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, enhanced by a carefully curated playlist that sets the perfect mood. The vibes here are simply unbeatable. Now, let's talk food—because Soma delivers in every way. The Moqueca is an absolute must-try; it's bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Pair it with their open sandwich, which is equally delightful and loaded with fresh, high-quality ingredients. For drinks, the iced caramel latte is a sweet, refreshing treat that balances perfectly with the savory dishes. If you're in the mood for something a bit stronger, the Invincible wine is an excellent choice—smooth, rich, and pairs wonderfully with the meal. Soma isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting Porto, this is hands down the best spot for brunch. Highly recommend!
