"With its concrete exterior, minimal signage and modern, minimalist speakeasy design, this bar brings a distinctive personality to an area otherwise known for its corporate vibe. Taking its name from the Sanskrit word for “to distil and extract”, the philosophy of the place is evident in a menu of reimagined classic cocktails that explore the purity of their flavours. The speakeasy draws inspiration from the Indian subcontinent and beyond; one highlight is the Raisin, a delightfully sweet drink that mixes butter raisin Hapusa gin, amontillado, jasmine and Champagne. In the early evening, the atmosphere is set to smooth jazz, which gradually shifts into Golden Age hip hop as the night goes on." - Karen Fong
