As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many venues, but Somerley House is truly something special. The staff are absolutely wonderful—so attentive, professional, and friendly, ensuring everything runs smoothly for couples and their guests. The building itself is breathtaking, with its elegant architecture and timeless charm. The grounds are equally stunning, offering countless beautiful spots for photos—perfect for capturing romantic, natural moments. The lighting here is simply magical, both indoors and outdoors, creating a dream setting for photography. Somerley House is a gem of a venue in Ringwood and an ideal choice for anyone planning a truly unforgettable wedding day. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of being at Somerley house last summer to photograph a wedding there. It is such a stunning location to celebrate your wedding. The Georgian stately home combined with the cosy intimacy of the libraries, the sunlit drawing room and the quintessentially English gardens that surround it are elegance and romance personified. The staff were all extremely welcoming and made the day run really smoothly. If you are looking for an elegant and romantic country house wedding venue I would absolutely recommend Somerley House for your wedding day!

Somerley...what a venue. It is one that truly celebrates the English countryside and shows it in all its glory. The entire site is breathtaking. The house is so wonderfully grand and breathes of history and elegance. The cottages on site provide a homely, intimate environment. Whether we are in the house, outside against the most stunning back drop or in the gorgeous cottages, it always a true pleasure to shoot there. And the team - they are wonderful!

The most beautiful wedding venue. The hall is very ornate. The staff are second to none and will do their utmost to ensure your stay is perfect. I stayed in Park Cottage, sleeps 7. Three x King beds and one single, all superbly furnished with own shower or bath and toilet, apart from the single room. Two sitting rooms, one with large TV viewing, again all have been furnished to a superb standard. Plenty of parking, wonderful grounds. No dogs allowed.

What a gorgeous wedding venue! I was part of a styled shoot there this week and it was an absolute dream to capture.

It was a remarkable time at the famous event organised by HTB Church (Focus 2017). Great for families, Great for Sports, Great for peace and quite.

Only been here for a uk cycle events sportive that was on, a very impressive setting with somerly House in the background set in very large grounds.
