Somes Sound

We watched the fireworks on July 4. They were nice. We parked on Seawall Road.

We lived, worked many jobs, and raised our children in Bar Harbor. MDI and Acadia National Park is our backyard. One of my many favorite spot is a Sargent Drive in Northeast Harbor. (I like everything about Northeast Harbor, food, library. Quiet trails and hiking, etc.) You will discover a rich, scenic drive with fantastic post card like views. If you're in this area, take a few minutes to find this gem of a drive. It is very pretty in Fall and Winter.

Somes provided one of the most memorable sailing days of my lifetime. Fjords are unique and wondrous. Grant this beautiful gift to the crew, your family, and yourself.
