A peaceful cafe with very gentle people working. Enjoyed a slow time alone at the counter seat and lunch meal made with local produces. Cozy place to chill and read your book in a cloudy day. Food presentation is creative, because the ingredients are fresh, taste is great! The outdoor area is spacious and I know they are dog friendly (owner has cute dogs!)

What a lovely find in Ohara. Always loved the Somushi TeaHouse in Oike that closed down many years ago, happy to rediscover this gem in northern Kyoto.

Went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a hidden gem, surrounded by nature. Lots of trees, river running, freshly picked blueberry and Shiso leaf from the garden, and locally grown veggies. Can’t beat that for the reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Interesting cake selection here. We had one made with sticky rice and it was great with tea and coffee. We didn't have any other food, but the decor here is beautiful, bohemian and earthy with peaceful music.

What a peaceful and awesome place that was, wow! If you're in Ohara, don't skip that place. I recommend their main dish, Jujube latte, honey ginseng tea and Jujube cake for the dessert. 10/10 👏

We had a pleasant experience. We ordered bimbimbap (1600yen) and chicken porridge (1100yen). Both were nice but i prefer bimbimbap. The porridge was very special and i have not seen it everywhere else. They also have seasonal porridge, so please try it when you have time. This place gets very crowded in the noon so please come earlier.

Delicious bibimbap, jujube tea, and hotteok with ice cream. Such a relaxing lunch next to the water sitting outside under the shade. It's a charming and adorable restaurant with delicious food.

They serve Vegan food and dessert as well. Their presentation is beautiful and tastes absolutely great!
