Son Tra Resort & Spa

I stayed in this resort for four night and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the property with my family. It was my first visit out side India with my family. The staff were exceptionally good and very kind and supportive. I had a memorable birthday celebration in the resort. The staff at the resort prepared cake for me and they also sung birthday song and beautifully decorated my room on that night. Location of this resort is amazing and very quiet. I would love to go back again if I happened to visit Vietnam in future.

Just spent 2 weeks here, absolutely wonderful. They have been so helpful and friendly, the service is excellent and facilities beautiful. Villas on the beach with private pools and daily room service. Easy access to the Denang area with lots to do. Felt so welcome and relaxed there, can't wait to return. It was my birthday during the first week and I was surprised at breakfast with a beautiful cake and decorated bed! A lovely experience at a very lively hotel.

We loved our time here! The location, staff and food were amazing. We have just one suggestion to make - they should really work on the privacy aspect of the guests, because anybody and everybody walking through the property can see the "private" pool area of all the villas, especially the villas adjacent to the restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Nice resort located in a quiet part of da nang. The staff are exceptional. They remember everyone’s names I noticed. The food was really good I couldn’t fault it at all. The spa is a must especially the therapist miss Kim. She gives great massages. I went back daily! The villas are huge and clean. The only two things that I found difficult was 1) they have a bathtub but not enough hot water to fill it which wasn’t a big deal but staying during the wet season means you can’t swim in the beach so a bath is a better alternative. 2) I stayed in the villa closest to the reception/restaurant. I felt a bit uncomfortable as I couldn’t have a lot of privacy due to staff being around the outside of my villa a lot due to the location. It was also hard to sleep in the morning as the villa is right next to the restaurant and staff working area. Otherwise it is a great resort when you want to get away from the city

Good location, the beach is really beautiful, room is too big and clean, comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Will be recommended to my friend. This resort need to be recommend to all visitors. I sure will comeback in next time

A resort on the Son Tra Peninsula. Due to flight delays and traffic jams, check-in was late at night. There was no staff there and we waited more than 30 minutes to enter our villa. The villas and facilities were very clean. It would be better if the breakfast area had an indoor space. As it is far from the center of Da Nang, it is difficult to use as a base for sightseeing, but it is quiet and suitable for relaxing at the resort. If you have a delivery app, you can also have food delivered from restaurants in the city.

If you’re looking for a place for tranquility. This is the place to visit and stay. I had the opportunity to have breakfast here with my friend who had booked the accommodation. They are so friendly and helpful

Our stay in this hotel was absolute chaos which leads to an early check out. The reviews here can’t really be seen as valid in my point of view. To begin with the villa, it’s spacious with a private pool. However, all the doors to balcony and terrace can’t be completely closed. It leaves a gap that you basically can hear the waves crashing to the stones 24/7. So the 4 days that we have been spending there we couldn’t get a nice quiet sleep at all. And the “handyman” needed to come over fixing the doors 3 times in the first day of our stay. Then the bathroom, it has a big bathtub but it doesn’t look like it has been nicely cleaned. Also, the villa doesn’t contain enough hot water to fill up that bathtub for a bath. So basically a bathtub with shower function. Secondly, the breakfast buffet. It has various options however most of them aren’t in good quality. The staff would come to you offering cappuccino as if it’s included in the breakfast but then runs after you to sign a bill. Questionable service in my pov. For all extra things you asked for during the stay, they will give you a bill to sign. We asked the reception to borrow some silverware to eat our delivery in the villa. They will give you a bill. Honestly, I never been to a hotel that charge extra for borrowing a plate or fork. Especially from a 4- star hotel, I’m expecting more than that. Thirdly, poor training of staffs. Communication with the staffs is impossible. Most of them don’t speak English. So if you asked them something, they will push that one staffs that speak a little bit of English. What you hear the most here is “I’m sorry” The last thing, poor management. We originally booked for 7- night which came with a deal that there was a set lunch/ dinner included. Since we eventually early checked out this hotel. We have a bill to pay which was a set lunch we had the day of arrival. However, the management team is so lack of flexibility. Claiming that we can’t use that “voucher” from them to pay the lunch we had. Since we early checked out with no refund, so basically that “set lunch” should be included. At the end we were just speechless. It also took forever for the check out since there was only one staffs that spoke poor English and he was not able to reach his manager to solve the early check out.
