Son Tra Resort & Spa

We loved staying at Son Tra Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable. We easily upgraded to a beach front villa from our garden view moments after we arrived— highly recommend the private pool with an ocean view. The breakfast in the restaurant is delicious! It’s easy to take a car into town, and the hotel is happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, etc. The villas are two stories and can accommodate large groups as well.

This resort is beautiful. Set into the side of the mountain, but right on the beach. My room ( a beachfront villa) was about 20 meters from the ocean. A private pool is right outside the master bedroom, and spotlessly clean. |The rooms are not new, lots of timber and older style glass. But it genuinely feels like you're staying in someone's home, or a traditional village rather than a hotel. And the air-conditioning was lovely and cold so extremely comfortable. The bed is firm, but comfortable, and everything was very clean. |The beachfront villas are definitely not suitable for wheelchair folks or those with bad knees or feet: they're two stories with wooden stairs (no lift). And a walk from reception to get there. Also stairs to get to and from the restaurant and the beach. |The beach: amazing. Crystal sands and that blue ocean right there. I could have spent hours watching the little fishing boats bobbing around. |I will say the ocean is loud in the villas: not a criticism, just a heads up, if you're a light sleeper, maybe not a beachfront villa. |The restaurant is perfect, right on the beach next to the pool, and the food is quite varied and delicious. The breakfast juices are a hit. |I've saved the best till last. |The staff. Honestly, from reception to the gardeners, every single person stopped and said hello with a big smile, everyone was so keen to help and give hints for things to see and do, and nothing was too much trouble. Just the loveliest people. |I would definitely stay here again. |It is about 30 minutes out of Da Nang central, but there are some great little coffee places about a five minutes drive away, plus the Lady Buddha statue is close. |Lovely and quiet and safe location. ||Thank you to the amazing staff.

Absolutely the most incredible location. Sitting on a beautiful beach looking toward the city skyline of Danang is a magical experience. We sat and gazed as we enjoyed the beachfront restaurant and pool. Hoping to return in May and experience the resort in the sun. The weather was good for us but not sunny but it honestly didn’t matter. Still swam and dad s gorgeous stay.

We loved this resort, the staff were very professional and welcoming. The staff are a joy, making our stay a highlight. Vivienne in reception organised a birthday lunch for my husband in Danang and on our return the beautiful ladies who tidied our room had it all decorated and turned up with a beautiful birthday cake made by the talented chef. |Vivienne, Jenny, Cindy and all reception staff where always on call via WhatsApp if needed and very knowledgeable and a joy. Our driver was very safe and looked out for us. The staff in the restaurant John, Tai, Henry, the very clever chef and other staff|were also a joy, professional, happy and very welcoming at the end of the day, |Location was good it was like coming home away from all the bustle of Danang.|Having our own villa with pool was definitely worth it with the lovely pool man cleaning it everyday.|We would definitely go back |Paul and Cindy

Everything about this place was great. I loved the feeling of being on a secluded island! The service- was top notch. I was able to WhatsApp the reception and communicate 24/7 with the staff. The beach villas are huge and well equipped. The buildings are a little old and will need some renovation soon. We were able to stay on the beach and use the beach showers and towels after check out and our luggage was stored in the reception area. The only thing that we could fault was the they did not have many activities to do inside the resort. We would have liked to rent some bikes or have some activities to explore the surrounding mountain. I would totally go back and bring a big group of friends in the future!

I had a wonderful stay at Son Tra Resort. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating – they even helped us with a late checkout and adjusted the timings based on our request. The villa was spacious with a private pool, sea-facing view, and private access to the beach, all at a very affordable price. The resort is not far from prime locations, making it very convenient. Great hospitality and delicious food. Highly recommended!

This was my first visit to Vietnam and it was well worth the trip. Absolutely beautiful resort! Cindy was the receptionist and very knowledgeable and eager to make sure that we had everything we could possibly need or want! Amazing sweet professional young lady!! I will be coming back next year!
