Famous for its momos, this place serves some mouthwatering momos. Located inside the Tibet market, you need to walk a bit to reach this place which doesn’t look super flashy first, but you’ll love the warm vibes around. They have separate counters for veg and non veg momos, which was a big plus. Overall, a nice place and well worth a visit.

If you’re visiting the Tibetan Market in Nainital, you can’t miss Sonam Fast Food. It’s a total shift from the Mall Road restaurants—tucked inside the narrow market lanes, it’s always buzzing. The Food: We tried the Mutton Momos (₹30 for a full plate) and the Dry Veg Chowmein (₹80). Both were delicious and well worth the price. •Pro Tip: Ask for the red sauce on the side—it’s incredibly spicy and packs a serious punch. Seperate areas for serving veg and non-veg. Note for Non-Veg Lovers: They don't serve non-veg on Wednesdays, so plan your visit accordingly. The Experience: This is true street food. There’s almost always a 30-minute wait for the momos to be prepared, and once a batch is ready, it sells out in minutes. There are only a few chairs and no tables, just a small ledge/stand where you can eat while standing.

Located in busy Tibetan market and Famous for the momos. But I'd say they're overhyped. We had Veg and non-vegetarian Momos. Non veg is not chicken but mutton. Chutney literally sucked and was not at all the true Lahsun waali chili chutney. There's was no space to sit and eat, just a standing setup. If you're from Delhi, I'm sure you have had better tasting Momos with garlic chutneys. Skip it if you can.

We have been there in a cold day and eating hot momos was too good experience. It's famous for their veg and mutton momos. We tried veg momos, mutton momos and veg thupka. Veg momos were very nicely prepared, served hot with authentic tasty chutney. Those were yum. Then comes the star ⭐ : Mutton Momos, very very good taste. I have tried it first time and I can eat it daily. Highly recommended to try for non veg eaters. Veg thupka was good too. It's a small joint but they serve quality and authentic food. We had mutton momos and veg dry thupka, and to be honest it was okay, not worth the hype. They dont have any item of chicken .It is infront of the naina devi temple,inside one of the lane.

We went to Sonam Fast Food a few days back when we were in Nainital on someone's recommendation to try their momos. But to be honest, I found the place to be overhyped, momos were okayish almost same as everywhere else. Outer covering was thick, stuffing was okayish. Not something awesome or wow, just regular normal momos. So this is not exactly my type of recommended place.

They have two shops in one street. One is full vegetarian and one shop only has mutton momos in menu….

If you are near maa naina devi temple or tibetan market nainital, you can consider visiting the place. For me it was just okayis and felt a bit overhyped by influencers or other people. You aslo can get same taste for lower price from street side momo seller. but if you want to show off the place on your instagram or youtube then it is definitely worth a visit😜
