About as middle of the road as it gets. The location is really nice in terms of walkability. LoHi is a great neighborhood. The area is safe. It’s about as loud of a place as you’ll have - next to a loud street and also the interstate. But the old school window AC units are so loud they act as a noise machine of sorts. The hallways do have a distinctly bad smell- and made me want to open the windows. Check in was seamless and easy. No problems there. Just a semi dated motel 6 feeling place that has rebranded and added a trendy painting or two in a nice location. Probably wouldn’t stay again - but value for money is high considering almost everything in this area is an Airbnb for $250+ per night and this ran $160 / night for us.

Nice studio apartment in a nice area close to downtown with convenient bus stops. Most appliances work well. However, the toaster was completely nonfunctional and the washer/dryer just about ruined a load of laundry by keeping the clothes soaking in dirty water for hours due to always running into some kind of error code halfway through and being unable to drain or dry properly. Would be 4-5 stars if not for the stress and inconvenience of the laundry. If you stay here and intend to use the laundry, test your machine with a very small load first or it could be a 2 star experience.

It was a good place, clean, spacious, great mattress, and nicely done. We also had a parking spot. We found the registration complicated and time consuming- one needs even to download their application to be able to check in. The name of the card needs to be the same as the name of registration. Otherwise, they don't allow the checkin, but it's a nonrefundable reservation, so one can not cancel. We are travelling everywhere in the world and we haven't seen this system. They even ask that ppl verify with ids or passport and have their photo taken for verification Time-consuming, and then we had to call someone (more time spending there) where they only assisted by instructing us to change the profile of the reservation. So, all over again. Apart from that, I didn't like that the apartment was on a street level. Wasn't shown on the photo when we booked it. It was noisy due to traffic on the highway.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is comfortable and fairly spacious. The bed is extremely comfortable, I almost overslept both days I was there. I appreciated that it has a regular coffee pot. The location is good to, just outside of the downtown.

Worst experience ever. I am not one to leave reviews but I mean this places service was totally unacceptable. Parking is a total nightmare, which they charge you $20.00 per night to park in their parking lot where you are not even guaranteed a spot (there are like 8 spots to park in, so what am I even paying for. They also don’t have a way to show that your car is paid. They don’t ask for a license plate, make and model, not sticker or tag to put on your dash yet towing is enforced?? To top it all off, when we finally parked and got off the phone with customer service we went in our room to put our stuff down and left for 15 minutes to grab something to eat and when we got back we were locked out of our room. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service just for her to keep asking me “did you enter the correct code and press the check mark” as if we hadn’t already been in the room once and know how to get it. They were ZERO help and my boyfriend luckily thought to check the lock box which had a key so we could manually unlock the door. They also don’t have any front desk/ “onsite crew” so don’t bother relying on help other than from the phone number they ask you to call and they clearly don’t help at all. They were totally unprofessional, had zero answers to questions like “how does the towing company know this vehicle was paid for”. Just book somewhere else and save yourself the hassle.

Despite some other reviews I really enjoyed our week stay here. Yes there are some downfalls like there being no shade cover to the larger living room window or the smaller bedroom one, but it was very sanitary and comfortable. A home away from home of sorts. I couldn't figure out the dual washer and dryer at times, and I felt very secure and taken care of. I believe that the "graffiti" was done by someone who was staying there as it's not everywhere. It is in a little bit more of a worn down side of town but it has so much walkability and charm still.

Longtime Marriott, first time Sonder. Good price, but gigantic a/c unit noise and shades that only cover 80% of the windows will keep you up. No elevator, limited parking. Clean and updated though. Will pick a different Sonder next time.

This place was ok. Pros: good location. place was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of space in the 2bdrm apartment. No issues checking in/ out. Street noise did not bother us thanks to the provided sound machine. Free parking Cons: Sonder app sucks. Screenshot your codes or you'll be locked out. Customer service via chat took over 30 minutes to respond each time. We were given only 1 washcloth for 2 people for a 4 night stay. When we asked for more we were told to go to the essentials cabinet- which was empty the 3 times we looked. We were eventually brought 2 more washcloths, which we then laundered ourselves. Our first day there, someone graffitied on the inside of the building on doors and windows. Didn't feel the safest after that. Ultimately wouldn't stay again- and issues with the app (which you have to have to get in) would steer me away from sonder altogether.
