okay. Does this place technically have everything you need for a comfortable stay and a little more, yes? The bed was comfortable, the AC worked, and there’s a full kitchen and washer and dryer. HOWEVER. there are enough small, not great things that make me question wanting to stay here again. The place just does not feel very well taken care of. Our sink drain didn’t work when we arrived, and maintenance had to come and fix it. Mysterious blue leaks from the AC unit, “decorative” frosted windows that bring in so much light that you cannot sleep in, mold(?) in the shower, a very warm hallway, a fire alarm next door that went off both mornings we were here, no elevator, ripped + lumpy sheets, and a curtain rod about to fall off the wall. Seeing other people’s reviews, and remembering our experience at Sonder Osage a few years ago, we might be trying to find an Airbnb next time.

Make sure your reservation doesn't get cancelled before you arrive because there isn't anywhere to sit except on the concrete slab outside the front door. There is no one to help you once you find out your reservation was canclled. I am staying in a hostel tonight. Do more than just checking your email because I didn't get an email. Do more than just verifying with your booking company because the booking company also didn't think it was cancelled. There was no way to know that my reservation was cancelled until I started the check-in process when I was literally outside. Find somewhere else. Don't stay here. Don't do it. Stop. Just book the hostel instead.

Got to my room around 11:30pm for a business meeting the next morning. I booked this on a recommendation for an inexpensive place to stay from a coworker. She hasn't had the issue I had. Like other reviews, and man I wish I read them before I booked, the room was used and disgusting. Slept in, smelly, dishes sitting in the sink for who knows how long in Denver summer heat. AC broken. No toilet paper. And worst of all, a used bed. There is no one to help and the app is useless. Customer service couldn't help me, or wouldn't. I had to book and new room for the evening and remainder of my stay. Tried to get my money back from them, but it's no use. Having my credit card do it for me.

Great location! Accomodations were well appointed, comfortable space, clean. If you have to work, the WiFi/Internet is spotty at best. Went out 3 times while working, first time was rectified in 30 min by a person who came by and had to reboot router at an unspecified location in the building. Second time the issue resolved itself. Third time after three calls and simultaneous text messages. Still waiting...over an hour. Hope you don't have meetings or anything of importance that needs doing for work purposes or otherwise that requires connectivity while in your room.

This was one of the worst Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. The place was filthy and noisy — I could hear the bar downstairs, cars on the street, and the walls and floors were covered in stains. Even the shower was dirty. The host’s communication was terrible. They never mentioned a required pre–check-in form until I had to ask, and then they tried to put a hold on my card and even attempted to double charge me. I am currently filing disputes with my credit card company Overall, this felt completely sketchy with horrible customer service. I would never stay here again and don’t recommend anyone else does either.

Frustrating check-in and chaotic experience I really wanted to like this stay, but the check-in process was such a hassle. I booked through Marriott (where I have an account), but was then prompted to download the Sonder app for codes and access—despite using the same email, the two accounts weren’t connected in their system. That already felt clunky and confusing. When I arrived, I was able to get into the building, but when I opened the door to my assigned unit, I was shocked to find someone else clearly still staying there. Clothes, luggage, and a strong odor greeted me. I immediately stepped out, closed the door, and contacted support. But since I wasn’t connected to the unit's Wi-Fi (because the login info was inside the room), I had trouble even accessing the app. After about 40 minutes, I was finally given a different unit. Except…the access code didn’t work. I had to contact support again, wait another 20 minutes, and was finally given a working code. All in all, I didn’t get into my room until almost an hour after arrival. For a self-check-in model that’s supposed to be seamless, this was anything but.

We arrived to the Sonder Zuni for a three night stay. We usually stay at the Fairfield, but understood Sonder is a new partnership with Marriott and welcomed a change. Upon arrival to the Sonder, we discovered there is no elevator. Upon arriving into our rooms, we quickly noticed ear plugs in the table and began to realize how loud the poorly constructed building was. There were also decorative windows with no covering to block from morning sun. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and certainly not to the level we are used to with Marriott. We left the Sonder property immediately and moved to the Fairfield.

The only positive thing I can say is that the location is convenient and central. Where do I begin? This was one of the worst stays I’ve had in years. The A/C did not work during my entire stay, and the heater didn’t function either—making the room stuffy, humid, and extremely uncomfortable. The concierge service continuously gave me false information about repairs being scheduled, only to admit much later that nothing had been done. On top of that, I wasn’t able to get trash bags for over 24 hours, despite repeated requests. The entry code to the building stopped working and caused major inconvenience. The room was filthy—there was hair all over the floor, under and around the furniture, and in the bathroom. The furniture and baseboards were damaged, and I even found black mold near the shower area (I have the photos to prove it). The bed was terrible, the pillows were flat and uncomfortable, and it was clear that cleanliness and maintenance are not a priority for this property. Unbearable stay in a dirty, poorly managed unit with broken A/C, mold, and lies from the concierge. If I could give them 0 star rating, I would do that.
