A disappointing experience. During my stay in room 225, several elements stopped working: lights, lamps, and outlets malfunctioned as if there were an issue with the electrical system. I had to call maintenance to fix them. In addition, the room had an unpleasant smell from the first day that never went away. One of the most uncomfortable aspects was finding the towels covered in hair from previous guests—completely unacceptable by any standard of cleanliness. In addition to that, I forgot two jackets in the closet—I’m 100% sure I left them there. When I called to recover them, I spent over 40 minutes on the phone with hotel staff, during which the front desk receptionist communicated with the housekeeping staff and the housekeeping supervisor. I was told that no clothing items were found in room 225, which was incredibly frustrating. Although the staff was polite, the overall experience was very negative. This hotel urgently needs to improve its standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and internal control. I would definitely not return.

This hotel is great. We highly enjoyed our stay here. This hotel is very clean and well taken care of with a friendly and helpful staff. Our room has a full kitchen with everything we needed to make our own meals and save some money. The room was spacious, comfortable, and inviting. We will definitely come back to stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It is an excellent place to stay.

Cozy pet hotel, where your furry friends enjoy a clean, comfortable stay! Each room is meticulously maintained, featuring fresh bedding and towels to ensure a relaxing environment. Plus, we provide all the kitchen utensils you might need for those special meals. What delightful experience!

Older property in need of refresh. Odors in hallways, elevators. Cleanliness could be improved in common areas but our room was clean. Great water pressure in shower. Staff is helpful. I would not likely stay there again however. I didn’t feel entirely safe coming and going due to location and nearby homeless situation. The A/C unit in room was extremely loud.

First room was CRAWLING with crickets and roaches, shelves and cabinets dusty and uncleaned, switched rooms to a higher floor, guy seemed annoyed that we complained about the insect infestation, second room had no body wash and no bedding/blankets for the sleeper sofa, we asked 2 times over our 3 day stay for blankets, we were told both times that they hadn't done the laundry and none were available. Homeless addicts also frequent the dark and unsecured parking lot here, we found them shooting up by our vehicle twice, made us feel very unsafe. This is absolutely the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't complain enough. Calling the health department, consumer affairs in NV, and the corporate offices to file complaints. This was completely unacceptable and DISGUSTING! Run, don't walk, from this dump!

I spent nearly three weeks here during CES, and my coworkers and I renamed it "So-So-nesta," "No-No-nesta," and my personal gem, "Sonesta Simply Sucks." The room hit me with a stench like a 70-year-old hooker right at the door. Housekeeping showed up weekly, if at all, with a lazy effort—I had to fetch my own towels and even borrow their vacuum because they wouldn’t clean. Two days in, my gaming console disappeared in broad daylight, and I’d bet on a staff member being the thief. At night, crackheads loitered out back, smoking and starting fires. Cockroaches—big and small—roamed freely; leave food out, and you’re throwing a party. The bathroom sink drained so slowly it turned into a cesspit, and a coworker dealt with puke backing up from another room. The carpet was so grimy my partner and I grabbed slippers from Target to keep our feet from turning black. An in-room camera caught the maid yakking on the phone most of her shift—zero effort on details. On the bright side, the stove and full fridge were useful, and the front desk staff were nice. Still, $250 a night on weekends is a joke. You’d probably fare better on the strip, even with the crowds.

Las Vegas is a popular vacation destination where people spend a lot of money to enjoy a memorable trip. However, the hospitality industry here seems to lack the knowledge and standards to provide top-notch customer care and accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel for people with disabilities. Even if you have to spend a little more, it's worth finding a better hotel. The rooms are not clean, and there was no hot water in the shower. I believe every hotel should ensure that rooms are properly checked for working amenities and cleanliness before guests arrive. Travelers shouldn't have to deal with room issues and wait for them to be fixed. They're here to relax, not to troubleshoot the problems in their room. Having to wait for repairs or even move rooms with all your luggage wastes time and money that could have been spent on enjoying the vacation. My entire half day was wasted waiting for a technician to fix the shower. After he claimed the hot water was working, we left for sightseeing, but the same problem occurred the next day. When I called the reception at 7 a.m., they said the technician was busy, after following up couple of times the technician finally arrived at 9 a.m. and said the problem couldn't be fixed, so they offered to move me to a new room. I didn’t want to move because I had already unpacked and didn’t feel well, but I had no choice as I couldn’t take a cold shower. Moving to a new room wasted another half day, and I couldn’t go sightseeing until after 4 p.m. These kinds of issues take away from the time and money travelers want to invest in their vacation. Hotels should thoroughly check rooms and amenities before assigning them to guests. Also, it’s important to be polite and respectful when communicating with guests. They're paying for accommodation, so they deserve respect and a positive experience.

Google
Great staff, great location. We used and appreciated the kitchen. The bed and bedding were comfortable. Shampoo/Conditioner in the bath was nice. The AC unit had to be turned down to 62 to kick on. Wish they would have left the ice maker on as well. We had to buy a bag of ice the first day, but it wasn't the end of the world. The room was still great for the price point.

Yelp
A little pricier but if you can afford the price, I highly recommend Simply Suites. They have all the amenities that you could piss want and need and the rooms and staff are fantastic. My service ‍ and I only stayed for two nights because we found our permanent home pretty fast. Thank you wonderful staff members for such a memorable stay Dakota and I really appreciate you all

Yelp
The room was very dirty. The floors were dusty, the carpets had dirt build up, the pillows smelled, the clean towels smelled like they were washed without soap and there was something splattered up high in the bathroom wall. The rolling chair at the table had 2 broken wheels. They would not replace it. The 1 frying pan they had was old and left my eggs tasting bad. The 2 small burners didnt work at the same time. The heat turned off and on alternating between the 2 burners. There was broken wall decor. They didn't clean the glue on the bathroom mirror. Unfortunately it wasn't until the 2nd evening we found a dirt pair of men's underwear and a dirty t shirt on the floor behind the bedroom door BELONGING TO A PREVIOUS GUEST! What's worse is that I picked it up thinking it was my son's clothes, until I realized it was a different brand of underwear I buy! So disgusting. It happened that housecleaning was next door cleaning another room. They took the dirty underwear for us. I did notice they did not have a vacuum while cleaning that room. When we asked to have our room cleaned, we were told we had to stay 7 days to have housekeeping clean our room. Some of the other families in our group checked out right away. They found hair in their bedsheets and dirty toilets. I have pictures I will be submitting.

Yelp
Service is a HUGE miss here! I had some family that was staying here as they had more needs for a larger room with cooking options and didn't want to stay with the rest of us on the strip. I figured it was a great location as it is just off the strip and dry close to where I was staying at (Venetian). I came in on Saturday evening to help them from the airport to their hotel. When we arrived two ladies were at the desk not looking up or worried about people. We waited a few minutes and then said hello. One lady said hi and went back to looking at the computer. A few seconds go by and she just says "checking in...need to see your credit card. No welcome to the hotel or anything. Just give me payment and be gone. We had to offer the if so that she knew it all matched. While checking in she gives the family the papers to fill out and is still extremely cold and unwelcoming. We get the keys and say thank you and have a good day and neither ladies respond. As we start to walk off, the lady closest to the entrance responds with yup, you too. Sunday morning, I walk in to pick up my cousin early to do some shopping and the desk has two ladies sitting and looking busy but not really doing anything. After a few moments of being in the lobby I ask for some items as my cousin need things in the room and immediately I am told policy states blah blah blah. That's fine that they have procedures but at least start off with a good morning or even acknowledge the fact that I was in the lobby standing there for a few minutes prior. I blow it off and go to grab a cup of coffee and am told it's for guests. I don't want to argue or create a scene so I just walk to the room. When we come down I see the same two ladies with no customers talking. I go into the market to grab and drink and I had to let them know that I got something because neither cared to acknowledge us yet again. That's strike two. You have two separate shifts with ZERO service skills. They don't welcome or greet anyone walking by the desk, they are short with conversation when they do engage, and no one tries to go the extra mile. I understand it's a busy week for all businesses in Vegas this week. However, a small amount of service can go a long way. A simple hi or have a great day is all it takes to make someone happy (sometimes..lol). Here, none of the workers seems to really care except the blonde lady working the desk on Sunday evening. She was great!!! I won't do names to be fair to the hotel but the blonde lady was really friendly and helpful. Clone her and have her work all shifts. lol. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The items in the hotel are showing signs of aging and extreme use. The towels are rough, the curtains are ripped in the shower, some dusting in higher areas needs work, and the mattress covers have a ton of hair on them. They have a large gym that gives you ample space to workout in. Definitely a nice addition. They have a good sized market for snacks and things so that you don't need to order DoorDash or something for small items. Overall, the hotel could be a solid 3.5 maybe low 4. The service on two different days doesn't warrant a higher score this trip. What's crazier is the Venetian had better service with a crowed check-in/out. The Residence Inn down the way at least smiled and said hi.

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel for our trip to Vegas and unfortunately it was a horrible experience. As soon as you walked into the lobby, it was dirty. It smelled disgusting there was popcorn all over the floor from a complementary popcorn station that was never cleaned. The staff were not well coordinated you didn't know who was who checking in from all of the people that were in the front. Once we checked in, we got two cards. We left a $50 deposit and $10 parking for our car that was a hidden fee. We never got told that we were going to go ahead and pay for the parking. We will take to 10 minutes to open the door. Once we walked into the room, it smelled very weird.. We obviously left for the evening and when we came back. we noticed that the table that's in the room was dirty. The cabinets were also dirty and some of the rooms have a mini kitchenette with plates, bowls, and utensils which looked like they were not washed the dishwasher in there smelled as well. as all that was not enough when we woke up, we noticed that all of our things were being roamed by cockroaches as well as them being all over the kitchen area. I had to throw away some of my make up because they were all over my make up brushes. The checkout lady Ruby gave us the general managers name and suggested us to call so we are able to get our refund. This was a horrible experience.

Yelp
SHITHOLE! Where do I begin ... Every place starts with 3 stars. Value -- -0 -- The facility sucks and is pretty run down with the carpets fraying and all of the accoutrements needing a nice flea market to be recycled to those who love the '80's. However, it is cheap. That was the good news. Customer Service -- -2 -- Usually the scale is + or - 1 but their customer service is so abysmal that a -2 is warranted. I checked in for a long term stay to work and am paying weekly. I also receive housekeeping weekly which means .... Oh, your trash is full, fuck you, dump it yourself! Or, you need towels, fuck you, bring the wet dirty ones all the way to the front desk yourself. Amenities -- -1 -- The reason I chose this place over the Rio, which is cheaper, was because of the laundry room. They do have one but it's garbage. $6 a load, fuck you, buy your own detergent, and only 3 machines for the entire facility. Bottom Line -- I stayed at the Rio last year and didn't think there could be a worse hotel AND I was wrong. Keep in mind I have a heavily discounted rate and am now looking to check out and go somewhere else. Just stay far away.

Yelp
Checked into a room that was absolutely filthy with dishes, used towels and tags on the bed. LOOK at their reviews and pics, disgusting they should be shut down and OSHA needs to be called.

Yelp
RUDE and NOT RELIABLE! So we made reservation over the phone the lady said they had availability all was going great, she took our card information sent us email confirmation for our reservation and we made reservation the same day, so we couldnt cancel already which is nothing wrong. All set and seemed good. We came into the lobby it was night time around 9pm, the reception woman was really RUDE and said they had no room for us, she sounded like its no big deal. I was shocked and even showed her the confirmation for my reservation. All she said "I know and I am telling you right now that we have no room available ". VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Yelp
I have no clue how this hotel has 3.5 stars. Really fooled me. The smell in this place is so weird, decor super outdated, and the rooms have so much damage. The AC was insanely loud and something kept going off in the restroom that was really loud as well. Would definitely be better off at a Motel 6.

Yelp
Visited Vegas for a wedding and it just so happened that When We Were Young Music Festival is on the same weekend so all hotels are pretty pricey, even this one. Paid almost $900 total for 2 nights for a queen suite. Parking is free which is great and I don't think there's a resort fee. I'm sure during off peak season this place should be cheaper... or at least I hope. The room is spacey... it has a separate living room with a twin sofa bed, I think, and a running kitchen with the appliances and utensils you need. The fridge even has an ice machine which is always a plus for me. The bedroom itself is okay with plenty outlets on both sides of the bed. The bathroom is spacey as well with the shower having great water pressure! This could've been an okay room for being 10 mins off the strip but man cleanliness in hotels is really priority for me. Honestly I wasn't expecting much but if I'm gonna pay almost a grand for a weekend I would expect to at least feel like I'm sitting on a clean couch or walking on a clean carpet. The room had a smell to it and the couch had weird stains on it. But man COCKROACHES. I've seen 3 in the room in one night already, the baby small ones, cus if it's the big flying ones y'all know I'm out the door running. The bed at least felt clean enough to lay on and I don't think there's any bed bugs oof but we have one more night the weekend is still young lol If you're looking to save money on a Vegas hotel and only need a spot to shower and sleep and are okay with mildew smelling rooms and cockroach friends (idk why you would be) and if it's not more than $500 for the whole trip, I guess this spot is aight.

Yelp
One night stay. Two stars because the room had a kitchen and check in was easy. Two things: 1. Whoever worked the Saturday night shift on 2/10 around 1am had the rudest and strangest attitude. We asked this man a question and he started laughing and scoffing at us and saying the answer like we asked a stupid question. It was such a deranged and creepy interaction that ended with him saying "Ya you have a good night" sarcastically. Like what??? It was UNSETTLINGS to say the least. 2. I brought leftovers from dinner into the room, and by the time I got out of the shower 10 minutes later, there were ROACHES climbing into the bag and box. They were emerging from the kitchen area. Absolutely repulsive. Will not be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Worst place to stay, period. My room has full of cigarette smell. Window is facing outside with risk of breakins. I will not return ever.

Yelp
So I recently stayed here on a Saturday night for a Birthday Trip to The City of Sin. I way overpaid, but it was a Saturday night, so it's to be expected. Check in was efficient and the clerk was friendly enough, but I think you guys can take the plexiglass down now, especially as horrible as it looked. The public areas are in desperate need of some TLC, they're looking mighty rough. My room was ok, it was reasonably clean, and did not smell of smoke. No bug issues either. There were some areas that needed attention like the AC Unit which had a busted vents, and the shower area. It's a short walk to the strip, as it's located on the corner of Flamingo and Paradise. Overall not bad, but definitely not worth the price I paid. A full kitchen is kind of nice to have though! Would I stay here again, possibly but not at that price point.

Yelp
I have no idea how this facility rates as highly as it does on Yelp. I came here for a 3 night weekend stay, as it was the only property listed in my company's travel booking system that was close to the convention center, though at $155/night, it was hardly inexpensive. Upon arrival I was told that, since I got there 2 hours before their usual check-in time, they'd need to charge me an extra $30 fee (which is something I've never once seen at any other hotel property). Without my prompting, he then agreed with waive that extra fee. I got checked in and they explained they'd need to charge a deposit (another oddity), and that there is no housekeeping service at this hotel, but I could exchange towels and linens on my own..I'd bring my used towels or linens to the front desk and they'd issue a replacement. What?? I then proceeded to my room. The entire hotel looked dirty overall and it reeked, kind of like when they use cleaners with overpowering smells to clean grocery stores and other facilities when they're trying to cover rotting food or other odors. The elevator was also older and rickety. I entered the room and it was not in good condition or updated in any way, and nothing looked terribly clean. 3 cockroaches scattered. 1 went under the fridge just inside the door, another ran into a corner and a 3rd tried to exit the room (I see cockroaches in photos that others have posted of this property on Yelp as well). I smashed that one with my foot, closed the door without even entering the room, I immediately went back to the desk and explained in the kindest way possible (even saying "sorry" and explaining I didn't mean to be difficult) that I would not be staying here and politely asked for a full refund. They apologized and accommodated and a woman working at the front desk asked for my room number so she could go and check it. The worst part was that I'd been charged $154.42 per night to stay here, before taxes and fees. This in a city like Vegas that's full of hotels priced even cheaper than that, even right on the strip, especially in November. After leaving this facility, while still in the parking lot, I used my phone to book a stay at the Westgate up the street. It was a Hilton until about a decade ago and is a palace compared to this Sonesta..And the Westgate only charged me $5 and change more per night to stay there than I was being charged for this Sonesta, even when booking my stay there on the same day I'd be arriving. It should also be noted that I arrived at that Westgate property before their posted check-in time and I was given a room immediately, with no mention of an extra fee or charge to do so. IMO this Sonesta facility should be avoided.

Yelp
This place is literal garbage. I definitely regret staying here. I was charged a fee of $28 for early check in. The elevator nearest to our room was out of order and still is currently. Not to mention the next day the elevator furthest from my room broke down as well and it needed repairs. While I was making my way to my room, I could smell marijuana and cigarette smells coming from the rooms in the hallway and that is just terrible. There are animals and kids staying here and people have no common courtesy. The room is completely run down, and looks like it's been half ass cleaned. My room included a bath tub that doesn't drain water properly so during the showers the water would rise to my calves, literally. The sink doesn't drain the water properly either and it was so annoying doing the dishes. The sink grinder also doesn't work, why am I not surprised? The dish brush they provide literally looks like someone used it to clean a god damn toilet bowl. I took initiative and bought my own sponge to clean my dishes. The bathroom provided a lot of towels but no hair dryer. The bed is super stiff and I would wake up with either a sore back every morning and sometimes a stiff neck. I could say the same thing about the couch, it is also stiff and contains some stains on it. The wi-fi is horrendous. It lags, I get disconnected from my zoom meetings and I couldn't get any work done. The stove takes a long time to heat up and requires you turn on a timer every time you plan on using it. The gym sucks, period. Don't expect a full rack of dumbbells. The cable machine is broken, all 4 stations are down. The only thing that works in the gym is the cardio machines. A few good things I can say about my stay: Parking is free and there are plenty of parking spots, they will provide you a parking permit upon arriving. There are no resort fees. It is off the strip and nearby restaurants and Target for your essentials. Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils provided. The refrigerator works well and makes ice and the microwave works just as well too. Will I be coming back? LOL, don't count on it bro. Would I recommend this to friends and family? Maybe if I hated them then sure, otherwise stay away! Spend your hard earned money somewhere else nicer with a way better kitchenette.

Garfield E.

Yelp
I would give this dump a zero. The General manager and some of the staff are morons and very rude. Do not stay at this garbage ass hotel. I traveled a lot for business and stayed here for the Superbowl and If I could have left I would have stayed elsewhere. This is one of the worst experiences I ever had in life and the idiots at the front desk and the managerial team made it worse.

K M.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else! Checked in Saturday. After changing rooms twice, this is the best this property could come up with. Gentlemen at the front desk seemed to realize the need for property care and was the only positive of the one night stay. Females at the front desk Sunday morning leave alot to be desired. Sonesta brand in general should be avoided. Prior negative stay at property in the SF Bay area in which property gave up on maintenance and customer service.

Yelp
We were really excited to stay here, sadly this room was not cleaned properly. We food an old sock and some trash, the restroom it's self was also dirty, it looked like the inside of the toilet hadn't been cleaned from its last use.. they also stated they had a coffee pot in the room but in the morning when we tried making coffee there was no pot.. overall the location is great and the hotel room it's self is great since it has a full size fridge and stove, but since I do have a four month baby and a toddler, the room itself was too dirty for for my liking, so I wouldn't stay again.

Azia M.

Yelp
The Black lady who works the front desk is very rude. And she literally gave me a hard time the whole stay. Left my key in room she made security escort me back just for him to not have a key and ask why she didn't give me a new key ? I said I'm not sure she wanted my id he was like no u can just give her your name. But yeah had to wait for him to go get the right key so I could get on my room. Stay here back when it was candlewood suites and loved it now I'm just like wow. And I'm black myself. She's miserable and it's shows. And then I paid my full 3 nights and I came late and they canceled all my days. Talking about this been they policy and it's literally NO WHERE IN THE POLICY It's definitely a no for me. I have one more day And wanna leave cause I don't like the energy
google avatar

Yelp
If you're considering this hotel make sure this is your absolute last resort! This place is seriously gross. Checking in my room made me want to take a shower. The pictures look nice, but don't be fooled, it's just a mirage. Trust me. I also had to febreze my room because I couldn't handle the awful smell. If you just need a cheap place to sleep and shower then okay. But if the hotel is an important part of your vacation/work-travel experience, I HIGHLY advice looking elsewhere because you will be disappointed, upset that you wasted money, and they don't do cancellations.

Yelp
This it a great place for extended stay and needing a full frig. Free washer and dryers Located on every floor. The staffing was always friendly, the hotel is a bit older and so the wearing on the rooms is starting to show. I went into one of our friends rooms which had a suite and their room look like it was a more up-to-date than ours. We had an old fridge and in the bathroom needed some repairs. Location is off strip, near the airport, plenty of restaurants near by and price is extremely reasonable with out a resort fee.

Yelp
Here for business, this will be my home for the next 3 months. Fully loaded. Full-size fridge, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, dual stovetop, toaster, coffee pot, and cabinets. This is equipped with all of my essential needs during my stay. Quiet!!!! Cable tv. It's home away from home.
google avatar

Lena P.

Yelp
No resort fee and full kitchen. Liked that you can park in the place and it's close to the strip. Would recommend in the future to stay here as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Clean. Inexpensive. Great to avoid the crowds. I was in Vegas on work and wanted a clean non-resort hotel to avoid the crowds; this for the bill. Great little kitchen to make tea/coffee and full-sized fridge. There is a pool, it's walking distance from lots of eateries but off the strip (which is what I wanted).

Sarah S.

Yelp
This place is garbage. Filthy, smells TERRIBLE, and they're clearly not cleaning at all. There was hair in my bed when I got there. A group of roughly 50 of us are staying here because my company booked this place and we are trying to get moved because it's so unsanitary. I'm calling the health department on Monday. There's a homeless camp outside the hotel and one of the rooms didn't have cold running water and had to fix it himself, when he noticed mold under the kitchen sink. The staff is rude and unhelpful. Most of the doors are malfunctioning and the key cards only work part of the time, and it's not a key issue. One of the exterior doors is busted and doesn't lock. I can't even describe the smell. There are bugs in the halls and the elevators are sketchy and sometimes they don't work at all. Worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. The AC electrical box is covered with a SINK turned upside down. This place is an abomination and the staff should be completely fired and replaced.
google avatar

Brandi K.

Yelp
I stayed here and I was very impressed. No issues whatsoever. They are clean, courteous and helpful. The kitchenette was better than most suites. Everything you needed was right there, including the little store that they have if you want a late night snack. I wasn't looking to be impressed, but I was! Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
We stayed here for 2 nights and right away the front desk staff was extremely helpful. I was lucky to get Janelle who was very cheerful and made the experience right from the start to be positive. She helped to guide me to the door closest to the elevator which would take me to my room and she even went a step further by meeting me at the door with the luggage cart that I had asked for. We got a one bedroom suite and it was spacious and perfect for someone who would be staying here for a while. Complete with full kitchen with all the basic cooking utensils and large counter for meal prep, eating and doing work on as a desk. The bed was very comfortable and everything else in the room worked perfectly. Because of the covid 19 situation, most of the amenities such as pool, weight room, store etc. were not available, but the laundry room was and it is free for guests! The grounds are very neat and well maintained and the location is situated right on Paradise Road, with Mcarren International Airport really close by. Within walking distance is a Bahama Breeze, Pieology, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Panera, Lawry's Prime Rib, Foco De Cao, and Morton's Steak House. Really, the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the amenities not being available and no daily housekeeping due to the covid 19. Otherwise, this place would be a great off-strip,non-gaming place to stay.

Yelp
A boyfriend and I came here and OUR KEY DIDN'T UNLOCK ANYTHING, we're pissed about that. He goes downstairs and try to get the key then it's a different person at the desk, just too much.

Yelp
I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel, rooms & the amenities in the rooms. There was a full kitchen with a full fridge & burners! The layout was nice if you'd have 4 + people staying with you. I would definitely come back to this place!

Yelp
We only stayed for a night. We were driving through on our way to Phoenix for the holiday weekend. Check in was super quick! I love that this location is dog friendly too! There's plenty of places to grab food nearby if you roll in late at night. Safe neighborhood but I will say I would not recommend ladies go out walking around this neighborhood late at night. Our bed was really comfortable and the room was clean and cozy. We had a nice quiet stay and will def stay here again when we're in Vegas.Just a quick uber ride from the strip too. Great staff great room all around awesome hotel!

Yelp
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Customer satisfaction is NOT a priority at this hotel. None of the issues we faced should EVER even happen, and I tried to give as much grace as I could. Grievance after grievance, I tried to let the small issues go as "one time inconveniences" until our list of issues reached an astounding 11 CONCERNS. The concerns are as listed: CONCERN #1. dry toothpaste and spit on sink and mirror from previous visitors and left bathroom mostly uncleaned. CONCERN #2. dishes in the dishwasher were not cleaned with detergent (verified by manager as only a hot water rinse) and dishes were dirty upon arrival. CONCERN #3. upon turning on the dishwasher to wash the dishes for us to use, the sink started overflowing (!!) and flooding over to which I ran to the front desk to call an emergency plumber. CONCERN #4. the shower had not been snaked for hair in so long, I would shower with water flooding up (tub stopper REMOVED as well) over my feet. CONCERN #5. dirty surfaces (we had to buy our own cleaning supplies to wipe the surfaces despite being "cleaned" by cleaning services yet all our wipes turned up dark brown after wiping down. Manager also verified that if we wanted our room cleaned, the rooms were only cleaned once a week and had to be notified 24 hours in advance :( CONCERN #6. gnats/little flies were everywhere! And we had no fruit in the room nor any food in the fridge so we don't know where they were coming from. Additionally, we started to keep our basic trash outside the room because it was drawing so many in. We asked management to spray the room TWICE due to how many there were and management even came up to confirm there were gnats around the room and found proof of them. CONCERN #7. 2/3 washing machines were taped up, broken, and un-usable, and both dryers took 4+ cycles to dry a half machine full worth of clothing. One dryer didn't even dry our clothes at all even after 5+ cycles. CONCERN #8. hotel smelled terrible and was masked by a vanilla floral fragrance that management confirmed they were spraying the carpets with to mask the smell and I saw them do it. CONCERN #9: hotel bed sheets had food residue/makeup residue on them upon arrival. CONCERN #10: management tried to tell our co-worker what he could and could not do with his verified service dog and the hotel was even a "pet-friendly" hotel. CONCERN #11: the most disgusting concern. Cockroaches were found in multiple of our co-workers rooms. This is the ultimate sign of an unkept and unclean facility. I have never been more disgusted with a hotel stay in my life. I tried so hard to not blame the hotel management but after they tried to blame us for any grievance after only 48 hours of staying in the room (which is not enough time to cause something like hair clogging or food clogging in drains) I felt completely unheard and invalidated. I am also in shock that management refused any sort of refund because "we solved the issue immediately". These issues should not happen in the first place, and too many occurred for them to be "a matter of inconvenient timing". No customer should ever have to work this hard to deserve a well-maintained and clean room for $130 a night + tax. I am so upset and I really recommend staying somewhere else. Literally anywhere.

Yelp
Was in town for five days to attend a huge expo at the Las Vegas convention center. I was traveling alone, and also one of the option to be able to cook so finding a place for the kitchen was important. I got the studio, and when I arrived, the place was incredibly clean and well taken care of. I thoroughly enjoyed having a full size kitchen that I was able to cook all my meals with. The small details like having salt and pepper, ice being made directly in the freezer, a laundry, basket, laundry detergent, etc. were nice touches and though I packed those things next time I come and stay here I'll know I don't need to pack them which will be nice! Can I appreciated that in the stairwell they had two levels of key-card security - the building in the stairwell and the other one from the stairwell to the hallway. I was traveling alone so it added an extra layer of security. Everyone was incredibly helpful and cheerful even when I observed some of the other people checking in for grumpy, haha. I would definitely stay here again when traveling and needing a kitchen.

Yelp
This is a simple, affordable hotel and a 20 min walk to the Las Vegas strip. My husband and I had a studio suite which was perfect for our visit as we were there for a quick weekend and did not spend much time in the room. The room was clean and appliances/furniture were acceptable. The kitchen had a coffee maker but there was only decaf coffee, went to the front desk to get caffeinated coffee and was told they didn't have any, so we went to Starbucks the first day, by the 2nd day, caffeinated coffee appeared. The hotel has a pool and hot tub that is open from 9a-9p. First full day of our visit we went to the pool at 9:30a and waited 30 mins for someone to open the pool. Once open, we noticed the pool and hot tub was not clean so we just sat poolside in the chairs and enjoyed the weather. While out there, one employee brought my husband and I some towels. My towel looked to have something red on it (possibly nail polish but not sure). Even the employee saw the red stuff so she took the towel back and gave me another towel yet she placed the "red" towel in the clean towels bin. The next day, the pool and tub were clean. The gym was clean and open 24hrs. Juntah was a nice front desk clerk that works the night shift she was very courteous and hospitable. This location appeared to have a lot of local long-term guests which might be a turn off for some people however everyone was cool. Overall, we had a decent stay however we would likely find an economy hotel on the strip if we had to do it again.

Yelp
Staff was very nice. Allowed early check in upon availability. VERY clean inside and outside. Diamond in the rough. Close to MGM. Literally the beat affordable stay close to the strip. Price is equal to flamingo yet the Flamingo is TRASHY, dirty. Blah. This place is very clean and that's what I'm all about.

Yelp
At first I thought I was staying in a nice hotel, it was close to the hospital I am working at while on a travel assignment. I was supposed to be there for 3 months at a discounted rate because of the length of time and they have a corporate deal with travel companies for people such as myself. Today I get a call from the front desk saying that they were no longer going to rent to me and as of the 18th of August they wanted me gone. I asked several times to the GM what was the reasoning behind wanting me to leave and he said that he did not have to give me a reason. I still have 6 weeks left on my contract and now I have to find another place to stay. I guess it's all for the good because the place always smells of weed, there washer and dryers are free but you can never use them because they are ALWAYS occupied, there are numerous homeless people walking around, drug users are constantly shooting up or smoking meth within walking step of the front door. I have seen roaches and spiders on a daily bases. House keeping comes around once a week, for the most part they are pretty good at cleaning your room, but they have never refilled the soap in the shower, I had to buy my own face cloths just so I could wash my face. I feel that they are discriminatory to black people, number one reason being that they can't even offer me an explanation to why They are putting me out. Shame on you sonesta! I am a first responder traveling to your city to help during covid spikes and this is how I am treated? I will definitely let furnish finders know how you treat your guest (Black guest) . You can keep your 2 star hotel with all of your druggies and alcoholics, I will find a better place to spend my hard earned dollars. I will also let my fellow colleagues that travel as well to stay far away from Sonesta Simply Suites. Thank you

Yelp
There were so many people smoking at all the entrances. Many have clear mental health issues. I spoke to a couple of guys so of the VETS being housed here at least 2 were homeless. There is also another housing program here and I see them getting into a van during the week. I do not want to live in a shelter or housing program when I am paying for a hotel. When you enter through the front hotel door you might find up to 7 or 8 people smoking within a few feet of the door...it is where the hotel placed the benches. This is supposed to be a smoke-free hotel. Standing in the lobby to use the single computer while you stand (it is on a high counter with no chair) while being exposed to cigarette smoke is an issue for me. One hotel wing clearly has had several smokers and I frequently smell marijuana from multiple rooms on different floors. There is also a lot of yelling from some of the rooms; people having arguments or loud verbal fights. Yes, they keep the building clean which is impressive. Yes my room is nice and it has a kitchen. And yes, the staff has been nice. But I asked that they not clean my room as I watched the cleaning staff go from room to room with the same clothing (no apron) and no gloves or clothing protection. It is the world of COVID and they carry germs from the bedding from room to room. Yet today I entered my room and the hotel failed to honor the request that there will be NO ROOM SERVICE. I have been washing my own towels. Very important is that there is no way to lock valuables in your room. I called the front desk to file a complaint when I arrived back at the hotel (Friday evening). I was informed that "management will be here Monday." Then I tried to complete a complaint form on the company's website, but the site kept taking me back to the reservations page!!!! What?! So then I called their 1-888..... number to speak to customer service! WHAT customer service??!!? It sounds like it is a service outside of the U.S.. The first person was speaking Spanish and I explained that I do not speak (much) Spanish and he kept asking me to repeat myself. I asked to speak to someone else. He transferred me to a 2nd person who had a heavy accent and kept asking me to repeat myself. I finally gave up. So I will just post my honest review.

Yelp
Well done ! Close to the strip just walking distance, free parking, clean rooms and a friendly staff. The pool area is nice and quiet besides the overhead planes but all in all a nice hotel for the money with many conveniences you wouldn't expect.

Yelp
While the rooms are fairly spacious, the stark white sheetrock walls make the place feel more like a Motel 6. This property is in desperate need of updating. This is one of the few hotels I've stayed at with no available hand lotion or moisturizer. The exercise room was okay, but minimal equipment.

Yelp
Towels had suspicious brown spots on them; shower in my room didn't work well, water comes from both the tap and the shower head, chair has you-know-what white stain on the between legs area(go figure) dripping all the way down although it's dried and u can't see it unless u use a flashlight. Under the table as gum, you-know-what white stain, Nose booger, very chaotic frontdesk situation when I was checking out, filled with questionable people, people who are on drugs for sure because they can barely talk. The night shift guy( I think he's black) was very helpful and nice, the white ladies during the morning shift sounded very off putting and rude over the phone with me. The black front desk girl wants to help, but at times can be overwhelmed and disorganized. Will I stay here again? Yes I would. But if u r picky then this isn't the place for you.

Yelp
I had to come to Las Vegas to assist my mother in finding an assisted living facility. This was not a pleasure trip, but every time I passed the front desk, it was a pleasure. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. They were fun and informational. The rooms were clean, quiet, and everything worked as it was supposed to. A full functioning kitchen, with fridge, stove top and microwave. Ice, whenever you want. It was convenient to The Strip (though we didn't go there). Restaurants were located nearby and other amenities surrounded us. We eyed the pool, but it was too hot outside. It felt safe, neighborly and the price was right. A great deal for anyone wanting to stay "on or near The Strip". Thank you for a enjoyable stay.

Yelp
This looks like an old property but it is very well maintained! A lot of parking and very nice front desk! I had to print a ticket for the cirque du soleil show so in order to save time, I called them and told them my room number and they printed it for me! By the time I got there, my ticket was ready and my husband and I made it on time for the show! I also like the part that its not in the actual strip, so much more peaceful and its only a good 10 minute drive to the strip! I love their rooms! I will definitely stay with them again!

Yelp
Great place to stay when in Vegas. Pretty close to the strip about 5minutes away from Planet Hollywood. I have stayed here twice and both times were pretty good! The room includes a normal size fridge and kitchen. They also do free laundry for you once a week.

Yelp
This is one of the best I've bee stayed in! My fiancé and I booked this suite last minute through our IHG membership because we needed a pet-friendly place and also because we wanted to be close to the strip but not actually on it, and this was perfect!! The strip was only a mile away and lots to see on the way anyway. The outside actually looks okay. I think they should change up the look of it outside and through the hallways because it doesn't look great at all, it looks like it's a hospital or something which made us a bit scared at first. But, once we went to the front desk, everything was really nice, modern and clean. All the employees were friendly and helpful. There is a computer with a printer, and also things like DVDs, rice cookers, other kitchen supplies all available for rent...complimentary! And they also have some snacks and food 24/7 for sale as well. Our room was amazing!!! The living room furniture was so nice and comfortable and we loved the look of the place too. There was a big office desk by the kitchen where you can eat on it but also write notes. They gave complimentary popcorn and coffee as well. There were pots, pans, plates, eating utensils, glass, all available for use. The stove was electronic. The fridge had an ice maker and also a water jug. The bedroom had a wonderful, big and comfy bed. The sheets and pillows were very inviting. Nice lamps connected to the walls on each side. Small table on one side of the bed and another desk on the other side of it. Nice size flat screen tv and drawer. Closet with option of dry cleaning as well. Also, laundry can be done for free, where facilities are located on each floor! So convenient! The bathroom was also very nice! Nice, clean, good size shower. Lots of towels, and lots of shelves for everything. The style of the room was really nice, organized and modern. The living room also had a bigger flat screen tv and did player. There was a retractable chair and the sofa was a futon, and both were extremely comfortable! The pool was really nice and the jacuzzi was a great size! We tried it out before they closed at night and it was so relaxing! The pool has a lot of lights so it wasn't even that cold, it felt a bit heated which was so nice! And the jacuzzi was extremely relaxing with the jet bubbles. Definitely must try when Yu stay here. It looked kind of ghetto because it's kind of out in the open...its gated but right where the parking lot is in back of the building, so anyone can see you. Other than that, it was nice :) There is a gym too but unfortunately since we only stayed a night and went to the strip, we didn't get to try it :( We loved that this place was pet-friendly and a lot of benefits staying here. Distance from strip is perfect. Front desk is there 24/7 and rentals are 24/7, and so is the gym. Pool closes at 11. Great place overall!! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Can't go wrong with IHG Properties. We love staying at their properties. Candlewood Suites is a nice place to stay. Friendly service. Clean rooms. Nice kitchen. Close to the strip. Pet friendly, though could do better with some more grassy areas for our fur babies. Would of been better to have first floor room with the dogs but it worked out. Its in a rather crappy part of town. Lots of homeless people around so be careful with your belongings. Compared to the hotel next to them, this one was far better.

Yelp
my family and i stayed here for 3 months so i feel like i know the hotel and staff like the back of my hand. I found the staff to be very helpful and always nice to chat to (bar one lady who seemed like a know it all). The pool was in need of a clean and the surrounding area has a few homeless people around but i always felt safe. The room was a nice place to call home while we were here. having lots of space for our belongings and the free things like washers/dryers, coffee, cookies on Wednesday, lollipops, dog treats, dvds and a cupboard full of cooking equipment, books and board games was great. Thank you for the stay. I %100 recommend long term guests to stay here

Yelp
Checked in today. Nice clean room. Kitchen with full utensils, dishwasher, cooktop, refrigerator. They have a large table to sit many people to eat. The restroom is nice clean with a large deep sink, also the restroom has a bathroom fan!!! Yes I would recommend staying here. Many restaurants in walking distance. Con- no shuttle to strip, no breakfast.
google avatar

Yelp
The front desk staff are very informative, professional and kind. The rooms are clean and well laid out. I enjoyed having a full refrigerator in the room, as well as a stove top and oven. It's close to the airport and easy to get shuttles to the strip. Would recommend.

Yelp
The worst hotel I have ever stayed at . My children and I have never been so scared and the customer service team did not even care . We got Into the elevator the elevator on site started shaking and lights started flickering on and off , toilet leak in the bathroom . Had a reservation for 2 nights ended up checking out within 1 hr of checking in and because my autistic child used the bathroom in the hotel room I was denied my full refund . Not once did a manager talk to me about what happened in the elevator and it seemed like the front office staff knew it was a problem as the front desk clerks mentioned something about it to each other after I complained yet nothing was done . I am a nurse and have traveled and stayed in different countries and states and have never experienced this level of poor service .
