Simply, the most magnificent hotel room I have ever stayed at in my life. My girlfriend and I spent one night in the ambassador suites, and it was simply exquisite. The king bed was incredibly comfy, the view of the Nile river was outstanding, the artwork in the room was lovely, and the room service was delightful. The Jacuzzi in the bathroom and the radio in the shower were simply unbelievable. The carpet in the room is also very flush, everything was clean, and we really felt like royalty while we were staying here. I must take a moment to talk about how kind the staff was to us, everybody was very attentive, from the room service staff, to the front desk, staff, as well as Nadine who did an amazing job, helping to plan a very special night for my girlfriend and I. The food offered at the restaurants was also quite varied, offering delicacies from all over the world. The pool and outside area was simply beautiful, so big, and beautiful to look at both during the night and during the day. I would definitely stay here again. Just a truly marvelous experience.

Simply the best I've stayed in. I love it the staff are on another level. Very clean and the room boys are superb, boy we had some swans lol. Breakfast are buffet style keep your eye out for the ignorance of some people picking up and putting back, coffee brought to your table as is juice, you have to ask for a tea spoon? The shower in the room was rather annoying doing the hot cold routine no matter what time of day, sockets loose in our room. That was the only down side of the holiday. Nobles bar what can I say!! Makes our holiday going in there to see the staff, people come from other hotels to drink in here! It's very expensive compared to other hotel bars but I guess you get what you pay for. We will return soon. Had it not been for a few things needing attention I'd of willingly given 5 stars.

Honestly super happy with our experience here. Think we paid about $150 USD a night for the premium single room. The one with the nice upgraded jacuzzi bathtub and red carpets and side Nile River views. Totally worth it, though. You pay for what you get. The rooms are super comfy. Perfect after a long day of touring. Trust me, you want this comfort when you’re tired after a long day of walking around temples. The beds are super comfy and spacious. The bathrooms are super clean. The bathtub for the premium room has the jacuzzi spa settings which were super nice. So many settings for the ultimate lax experience. And nice hot water (which I heard can be an issue in a lot of stays in Luxor). The staff are also super nice. Breakfast is great. Breakfast buffets are not huge in Egypt, so it was nice to have one after a while. They have all sorts of foods. Large variety. Also our room had the side Nile River view, and it was super nice!!! The balcony is EVERYTHING! 🙌🏽 They also have a nice lobby area. I’m huge on cleanliness. Everything felt very clean and luxurious. They have a Japanese restaurant and an Italian restaurant and a cafe as well inside the hotel which we visited because after a long day of touring, you have no energy to go out and eat. Also room service for these if you want. The only thing I would say is that they should have the info about their spa at the front desk. When I asked, they told me to go downstairs to the actual spa to find out which I felt should have just been in an easily acceptable pamphlet at the front desk or something. For those looking for the spa prices, I’m posting pics of them for ya. In addition, not necessary but would have been nice to have a heated pool. Really wanted to get in the pool but it was a bit windy and chilly to do so in February’s weather in Egypt. Will be back to Sonesta next time I’m in Luxor. Thank you, Sonesta!

We stayed in the Sonesta hotel whilst visiting Luxor and very much enjoyed our stay. The building was fantastic with many resteraunts, shops, bars, pools available and was very centrally located. On top of the fab building, the amazing staff were extremely attentive. A young man called Usama in particular was extremely helpful and offered a very high level of service! Amazing view over the Nile, Luxor temple within walking distance, clean and comfortable. Would be back!

Very Nice hotel on the nile. Very Nice ambiance for Christmas. Amazing breakfast buffet. Variety of shops. Rooms have high tech showers Jacuzzi. Pool is very nice. Only issue the hotel is narrow so many rooms have partial nile view combined with unfortunately other building and terraces view which may not be as nice

The hotel was truly luxurious in central location close to temples and downtown. We arrived early at 9 a.m. and were graciously offered an early check-in. To our delight, we were also upgraded for free to a suite featuring a spacious bathroom, a jacuzzi, and a breathtaking direct view of the Nile River. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, espacially guest relationship staff. We highly recommend this hotel!

This is a very good hotel, nice and quiet with almost no noise from outside the hotel, so a great nights sleep. The room was exactly what you would expect, good bed, with a small outside balcony with a limited view of the river Nile. On suite with shower over a bath, toilet and washbasin. A good choice of cooked, cold or continental breakfast. Very happy to recommend 👍
