My husband and I tried the ala carte breakfast menu during the off season this past February. I originally wanted to order the chicken and waffles but they were not available first thing in the morning. We were told that the chicken was still frozen. No big deal. My husband ordered a coffee and I ordered a sweet tea. He really enjoyed the coffee. This was the sweetest tea I had ever had in my life. I'm not sure if it was because we were one of the first people in the restaurant that morning or if it's normally that sweet. My husband ordered the traditional egg breakfast you can get anywhere with eggs, bacon, toast and breakfast potatoes. I decided to have an omelette since I wasn't able to get the chicken and waffles. The omelette was amazing. I chose ham, onions and cheddar cheese. It also came with a choice of grits or breakfast potatoes. I chose grits and I'm glad I did. I don't normally like grits but these were great. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We visited the resort in November and saw the breakfast buffet. It did not look very good in our opinion and seemed overpriced. We enjoy the breakfast buffet at the Heartsong Lodge better. I wish DreamMore offered the breakfast buffet and a menu option like Heartsong Lodge.

My wife and I recently began our 50th year of marriage and decided to take our whole family (3 daughters and their husbands plus 11 grandchildren) to Dollywood for a celebration. While there we had dinner at the Song & Hearth. It was amazing! They surprised us with ballons and cupcakes marking our milestone. (Photo attached) The food was great and the service was awesome. Special thanks to Rick and Rachel who took such good care of us and did so with courtesy, humor, and genuine concern that our time with them was everything we imagined it would be and more. Also, thanks to their supervisor Nanette who checked on us periodically as a help to Rick and Rachel. (We kept them quite busy!) Finally, thank you to restaurant manager David (I am remiss in forgetting his last name) who I am sure made the arrangements for our surprise decorations and treats! We cannot recommend Song & Hearth strongly enough! Go hungry, but by all means go!

We went for the Saturday dinner buffet and left unimpressed with the food. Prime rib was good. Shrimp was nice. Salmon was incredibly dry. One short rib was delicious the next was tough. The broccolini was both undercooked and soggy. The crepes were premade (I think frozen) and then reheated- fine but not anything too special. The desserts looked great but our choices all had a freezer taste to them. Wait staff were welcoming and attentive. The 1 woman working the carving station, sausage, and crepes was sweet and helpful.

This is the main restaurant associated with Dollywood's Dreamore hotel. It's largely buffet based. We are both breakfast and supper here, and both were good. It trends towards enhanced country cooking with some twists. Staff very polite and warm friendly atmosphere. Considering it's a tourist location, prices reasonable.

Food here used to be good but tonight it was not. Short ribs were tough (didn't get to eat even one), the fried chicken was dry, the prime rib wasn't good, my husband said the salmon was dry and tasteless, etc. The carrots were good though. Our waitress was awesome . I told our waitress and a manager that it wasn't good. Not sure what has happened here but it needs to be addressed. $39.99 per person is too much for a bad meal.

Google
This restaurant used to be a family favorite, but unfortunately, the quality has declined. The food feels mass-produced and lacks the freshness and care it once had. Honestly, I had better meals at my college cafeteria years ago. Even the desserts seem pre-packaged, which is disappointing given the price point. At $39.99 per person, I would expect much higher quality and attention to detail.

Google
his was a wonderful breakfast for my sons upcoming birthday this week! First, Dolly's hotel is stunning. It is worth the visit just to see it! The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. We were sat at a table near the buffet and my kids thought it was the coolest thing. The make your own omelette chef was very good at his job and made me the best omelette I have ever had. There is something for everyone! The yogurt parfaits, prime rib hash, and fresh-made omelettes were the star of the show. If you have a season pass to Dollywood, they honor your discount there! I highly recommend!

We arrived late afternoon for resort check-in and weren’t up to leaving again for dinner. 3 adults, 2 teens. It seems Song & Hearth recently switched from buffet to family style? And reviews were all over the place. Rather than do the grab-n-go market, we decided to take a chance as Family Style dining is a fun treat. We placed reservations via Open Table, though it didn’t seem other parties were delayed being seated this Memorial Day weekend. This is a family resort and understandably there were a lot of little littles. The hostess was professional and also accommodated our request for a particular area of the restaurant as it was my brother’s 50th bday. Our server, Karen, was friendly and kept things moving with assistance of dining room support staff. Not rushed, relaxing enough to enjoy the ambiance, and not too slow even though a party of 20 was seated just before us. We had chicken, brisket, and salmon. Broccoli casserole, mac n cheese, & mashed potatoes. The salmon was excellent! Not at all fishy and great flavor. My son, who lives on chicken tenders, loved the wings. Chocolate Mousse & Banana Pudding a great ending. Could grandma make some of the sides “better”? Sure…we all have our preferences. But nothing was horrible. Tea was sweet. Biscuits were hot. Song & Hearth was a great way to immerse into the resorts vibe and begin our time at Dollywood.

Yelp
WOW WOW WOW! Just go! The prime Rib was scrumptious. The other food was tremendous, and the ultimate was the Donut Wall. What an AMAZING place!!! When in Pigeon Forge, DO NOT MISS!

Yelp
I'm a sucker for anything Dolly or Dolly related so I had to give Song & Hearth a try. I'm sad to report that this restaurant was a big disappointment. Food was mediocre at best: My family of 3 chose the family style meal experience. Biscuits were very "box mix", green beans were cold, brisket serving size was 2 very small pieces, broccoli casserole was simply broccoli and cheese, fried chicken and catfish was again, mediocre. Desserts were good, very simple but good. The restaurant and resort are both decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our waitress was kind but service was overall very slow. At $32.95 per person, I honestly expected more from DreamMore Resort.

Yelp
Buffet $22 each and free parking So this is in DreamMore Resort but you don't have to be a guest and free parking hello there sexy breakfast They have a omelet bar and fresh made pancakes and waffles, Coffee is brought to the table along with water other than that there's fresh OJ, Cranberry and Apple juice that's self serve Lots of choices from grits. Biscuits and gravy to sausage links and bacon, there was a granola bar, fresh toast along with butter and honey. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but trust me there's options for just about any diet and they're very attentive one young lady was walking a guest around showing her the gluten free options. You can make a reservation online to be safe but we were lucky and got right in and seated

Al B.

Yelp
We did the Prime Rib buffet they host on Saturday evenings and for $45 thought the menu was well worth it but the food had no flavor, everything was so bland. We tried a little of everything and wasn't impressed by anything. We both barely ate anything. The desserts looked amazing but donuts were still defrosting, not fresh a bit stale. Chocolate cake also dry. The restaurant is very nice, staff very welcoming. Service is getting drinks and that was fine.

Yelp
Makes our top three Smoky Mountain Restaurants.... Possibly, Number One. Yes to reservations. Lots and lots of free parking. Buffets ar NOT our favorite, but we have arranged to do a Work Around here. Elegance in ambience and dining. Cannot think of a more romantic restaurant in this area. Great Date Night with your Wife. Make reservations and surprise her. Caveat: You and family may want to dress nicely.

Justin M.

Yelp
Came here while on Spring break vacation and we were pretty impressed. Despite it not being a buffet anymore which we didn't expect it still turned out good. It is currently served family style and we got the fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and pot roast. The favorite of mine and my Wife's was definitely the fried chicken it was very delicious. My Wife also enjoyed the collard greens and I was a fan of the Mac and cheese. We would stop in again as like I said everything was delicious

Yelp
Run, don't walk and visit this amazing eatery! Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Smokey Mountains it was a blessing to spend my Mother's Day's evening in the company of my beautiful daughter and enjoy such a fine meal. The timing couldn't have been better we chose 5:30 but arrived early. Our meal was buffet style and the staff Her name was Barley which was as special as she was sweet she took our drink order and welcomed us to enjoy as we liked! My daughter chose the prime rib from the carving station which was cooked to perfection She also enjoyed a side of pasta and a salad. For myself, I enjoyed a shrimp cocktail to start and I also chose the prime rib which was delicious! I love to try different regional dishes and there was a Cajun dish the deserved a try accompanied with a serving of wonderful cheese grits. I also enjoyed a good serving of collard greens my personal favorite which were out of this world! We did save room for dessert Mini cheesecake for my daughter and for myself Made to order Banana's Foster Fabulous Hands down the best meal of our trip Will definitely be back Great job everyone !

Yelp
A group of us dined here though our colleagues warned us the service was lackluckster the night before. Being the only option at the DreamMore resort, we decided to eat here without wanting to go out. Service was a mess, we didn't know who our server was. A blackberry margarita (which is really tasty!) was given in a broken glass. Someone took it away, but 10-15 minutes later, we had to ask where the new drink was. Busser tried to take away our appetizers when we still clearly had food left on the plates. Asked for tabasco and was never given it so when I asked the waitress, she said she forgot. Fried green tomatoes and pimento dip with chips were good. Shrimp and grits, grits were way too clumpy and cold. Banana pudding wasn't the classic version with chopped bananas and instead just banana flavored pudding. Breakfast buffet here was excellent though, enjoyed the egg/omelet station and biscuits and gravy.

Yelp
Dear Friends, Dolly resides in my living hero book and I will forever celebrate her. Her career has shown me that no dream is to insignificant and that includes pouring into her home state. If you haven't had a chance to visit Tennessee and the places she's left her footprint, what are you waiting for? While visiting "Dollywood," I had the opportunity to snag a reservation to dine at Dolly's flagship restaurant Song & Hearth. Before checking in for our reservation, we took some time to explore the beautiful resort. It's filled with mementos and memorabilia from an amazing career. I was humbled to see the number of hit songs she's written yet always finding a way to spotlight her home. In a world where people are trying to live the life they think others should see, Dolly has remained true. Song & Hearth is a buffet style restaurant that features: biscuits salad bar carving station/pulled pork station build your own grits station ‍ A variety of entrees kid friendly food station dessert wall I was exhausted and failed to fully film the food but I promise it's worth every penny. I plan to snag reservations for the first day of my trip next time. Group Suggestions: This is a great place to take a large group. They have ample seating and there is literally something for everyone on the menu. They also feature a great breakfast selection much earlier in the day. #Pigeonfirge#DreamMoreresortandspa#song&hearth#reaturantsinpigeonforge#yelp#thingstodointennessee#dollywoodvacation

Yelp
Song and Hearth is Dollywood's Dreammore resort main dining facility. Serving both breakfast and dinner advance reservations are strongly recommended. My family came here for breakfast on our first full day at the resort. We were seated in a spacious Southern style dining room complete with a fireplace. Having ordered the buffet I wanted to get a mini Dollywood cinnamon bread but learned they didn't have them for today. We would have to go to DM pantry. Needless to say when we got that cinnamon bread it was very good and enough to last several servings. Our buffet had an omelette station, all types of Southern meats including ham, applewood sliced bacon, sausage, grits. hash browns, egg scrambles, breads, pastries, hot and cold cereal, along with fresh fruit. Let's not forget the waffles with the butterfly in the center along with different types of pancakes and French toast. There is so much there you definitely won't leave hungry. My personal favorite was the prime rib hash. The prime rib tasted so soft and was delicious! This place is pricey since you are in the Dreammore resort. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. However when one is on vacation spending a bit more is definitely worth it. Open to both guests and visitors to Dolly's Dreammore resort.

Yelp
We actually stayed at Heartsong but the first night we had dinner at the buffet at Dreammore, not normally a buffet person but this is a great buffet! Highly recommend! Prime rib was delightful. The creamed spinach is probably the best I've had! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Roy was our server, he was great! The bartender Jenn who prepared our drinks in the lounge area prior to having dinner, she was also so sweet and drinks were delicious! The manager Jeremy, so nice, talk about southern hospitality, he came by our table to make sure everything was great, and it was! Again, if you're staying at either resort I definitely recommend this restaurant, the people are so nice and really take the time to make sure everything is right. Also you have to get a picture with the Christmas tree outside the restaurant!

Yelp
Went there for breakfast. Typical breakfast buffet. A lot of variety. Nothing special. I would prefer to rate them 3.5 due to variety and the service was good. Just hard to give a 4 star when it was nothing special. It was also $60 for 2 people which is typical for a hotel but a lot to pay when it's nothing special.

Christine S.

Yelp
We had breakfast here 2x during our stay. It was pretty decent- it's a buffet. The omlet station is great- we found all the food to be fresh (minus the donuts, those were stale). It is a bit pricey, but we needed something at 7am and there is nothing else in the area that opens this early. If you're staying in the resort, it's a good option for early risers.

Zoya Z.

Yelp
The majority of the food was delicious! I would pass on the shrimp creole as it was more tomato-y than creamy. Everything off the speciality menu was amazing!! The staff was friendly and personable and even when busy, they made sure that we were taken care of. The lounge area does have limited seating but there is a larger buffet area that has much more space for larger families and more menu options. The wine options are limited but they had a delicious riesling and the bartenders were willing to make any drink off menu!

Mike F.

Yelp
The restaurant converted from buffet style to family style serving at the table in April 2024. We unfortunately were not aware of this until arriving at our reservation. We were very much looking forward to enjoying the buffet as advertised including the bacon wrapped meatloaf and desserts including the donut wall. Unfortunately this was all gone. In addition, the portion sizes were modest and when asked for refills, they were incredibly small and we felt staff were annoyed when we kept asking for more of things we enjoyed (advertised as bottomless). Our trip to Dollywood has been excellent but this definitely stands out as the low point. Hopefully the buffet will return (still available for breakfast).

Patricia Z.

Yelp
Restaurant is beautiful. Well laid out and quiet. We were seated quickly and ordered. Food is "Family Style". Three sides and three meats were ordered for the table. Biscuits were dropped off to us. First off, the much ballyhooed "stone soup" starter inspired by Dolly's never came to the table. Our meats and sides came out almost immediately. Although our reservation was early in the evening, everything we were served looked like the last scrapings of the pot. The whisky baked beans were dry and smashed and even the waitress remarked that they looked like refried beans. The chicken & Dumplings was a bowl of congealed, cold yellowish gravy with very little chicken and one sad, gloppy dumpling. The pot roast was tasty but very, very fatty. The pulled pork, carrots and mashed potatoes were good. We asked to trade the mushy baked beans for the southern green beans and what we were presented with looked so unappetizing. I can only describe them as "camouflage" beans. Some were green, some were grey, some were brown. Altogether they looked overcooked and old. We did not touch them. We asked for fried chicken to replace the fatty pot roast and it was well cooked but not particularly well seasoned. We were surprised that none of the dishes were ever cleared away during the meal and the dessert was served with us just pushing the dirty plates to the center of the table. We expected that with a menu limited to just a few options, the food would be perfected in the kitchen, but sadly, no. If you want a family style meal, eat at Aunt Granny' in the park. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the price was less! Avoid Song and Hearth. You'll do better elsewhere!

Buck S.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, but the food was just average, and you may ask... then why are you giving this place 1 star? It's because of how expensive it is. I would put this place on par with Golden Corral tbh, cafeteria style taste. Just a lot less options and twice the price. Service was great. Place looked amazing. Food was garbage. Sorry. If you wanna wipe your ass with your hard earned cash. This is the place. 1 star.

Pat S.

Yelp
We had the breakfast buffet. More than worth the price! Something for everyone. Service was great.

Eric W.

Yelp
Everything you can imagine was wonderful. They work so hard to make everything perfect.

Gary N.

Yelp
This was the worst dinner for my family and I on our extended stay in Pigeon Forge. This place is so expensive! You can get a much better meal just up the street at Five Oaks, The Old Mill or a plethora of other good options. First, with hardly any customers, we get seated in a back corner right by the kitchen. This is with 90% of the seats in the central rotunda wide open. The sweet tea here tasted horrible, how can someone mess up sweet tea? Same for the chicken and dumplings. They had almost no flavor. Worst I've ever had. We really regret eating here, was all around a waste of money.

Laura P.

Yelp
They got rid of the buffet during the week. It's only on the weekends now. It's still all you Dan eat but you pick items from the menu and they bring it tableside. Not nearly as good. Food was average almost cafeteria grade but the price is still the same. It was over $100 for 2 adults and 1 child. Not worth it at all. So disappointing.

L G.

Yelp
We had breakfast at Song & Hearth this morning (6/17/24). We had the dinner buffet here last year and enjoyed it--we were sad that it is a family style restaurant now, but tried the breakfast buffet this morning. Honestly, everything was good, but everything was also cold by the time we got from the buffet line to the table. That's the only reason we didn't give a 5 star review. The buffet featured a little bit of everything from fruit to an omelet station. The kids enjoyed the funnel cake waffles with whipped cream and sprinkles and the donuts the best. The adults loved the bacon--perfectly cooked so the meaty part was crispy and the fatty part was cooked but still melted in your mouth. When we made our reservation, we couldn't make a reservation for a party of 11, so we made 2 separate reservations (one for 5, the other for 6), knowing we might not be able to sit together. The restaurant wasn't busy, so we were able to sit together. Our server, Lani, was awesome. She got our drinks, kept sure they were full, cleared plates, and was just on top of it. When she overheard us singing happy birthday to one of the kids in the group, she asked whose birthday it was, and brought a frosted muffin with "Happy Birthday" written in frosting and sprinkles on the plate toward the end of the meal. That small gesture made a little girl's day!

Jason D.

Yelp
Our family has visited Song & Hearth several times and every visit has been great. The food is exceptional and even our vegetarian family member loved it! It's always a highlight of our visit to Sevierville. For this review, however, I want to specifically discuss my parents' visit on 1/5/2022. It was my mom's 75th birthday, and when I found out they had made reservations at Song & Hearth, I called to see if there was a way I could surprise them by paying for their dinner. I was connected with Athena Bivens who helped me out. Not only did she come up with a way for me to pay for my parents over the phone once they had been served, but when she found out it was my mom's birthday, she also made a birthday card for me, printed it out so that it looked great, and had it delivered to their table. They also had a table visit from Noreem who congratulated Mom and a special birthday cupcake from their server. My mom has raved about how special her birthday dinner was and how honored the restaurant made her feel. I cannot thank Athena and her crew for going far above expectations to make this special!!!

Eric M.

Yelp
Horrible. Tried for both lunch and dinner. Buffet is awful - literally no vegetables other than salad and collard greens. Kids section was just corn dogs, tater tots and pizza. Many main courses missing or not restocked. Disappointing ugly fare best suited for a golden corral.

Amber S.

Yelp
Visited for Sunday brunch and found this to a hidden gem. All of the generic pancake houses in the area were packed and it was refreshing to be able to book a reservation. We walked in and we're seated right away. The buffet consisted of an omelette station, prime rib and pork loin carving stations, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, grits, fried chicken, biscuits, gravy, Mac and cheese, pastries, pancakes, hash browns, etc. Everything we tried was great and I thought the price was very reasonable.

Mick B.

Yelp
This review is for the breakfast buffet during a weekday. We enjoyed our AUCE breakfast buffet. Coffee tasted fresh brewed, and all of the items on the buffet that we sampled were tasty and fresh. We particularly enjoyed the freshly cut fruit and the vanilla French toast. I appreciate a good biscuit and the ones on the buffet were flaky as well as tasty. Service was very good and we felt we were given the just right amount of attention without the server being intrusive. We recommend this restaurant and would not hesitate to dine here again

Nicole G.

Yelp
This place was adorable! I love Dolly, the southern aesthetic, and some Pioneer Woman vibes. The dining room of this place hits all of those boxes. The server we had were also the sweetest people around. I've been to very few buffets where you get a dedicated server, and I've never had one who was so polite and kind. However, the food was just alright. It's standard southern fare - mac and cheese, chicken and dumplings, etc - that you could get anywhere in the state. With the exception of a Parton family soup recipe, nothing felt particularly special. Additionally, the food was lukewarm or stale. Nothing felt hot and fresh. Although we did go about two hours before they closed, so I think that could explain a lot. Overall, glad that I went but would not come back.

Joshua J.

Yelp
Depressing. That's how I review Song & Hearth in one word. Now don't get me wrong the service was fantastic and the sweet tea was on point but the food itself..... NO. Dry greasy flavorless BBQ. Dry chicken. Just a strikeout especially for the price and we're staying in the resort here too. $110 for 2 kids and 2 adults plus a $25 tip because she was good. I just wish the food was good especially for an 11 yr old birthday girl who LOVES Dolly. You know when you know a ticket is gonna be expensive and you're done eating and you feel cheated? That was where I was this evening. It's covid friendly right now so they serve you the meats at the buffet and the server brings the sides. Salad-warm and someone find a dressing recipe. Mashed potatoes- very thick and sticky could've used a few degrees on warmth. Greens- better than the rest. Corn on the cob was good and so were the baked beans but they needed some warmth too. Stone soup- potato water is a better name. Apple crisp was good. Bread pudding not so much. Apple pie-one bite. I wish it was better.

Timothy S.

Yelp
This place is great we have eaten here twice this week. Both nights the place was really quiet and almost empty. The cornbread was good, the buttermilk buscuits are doughy. They have the best fried chicken I have had in this area and by far the best greens I have ever had. The ribs were good as well. I did not try the pasta bar at all. The desserts were ok but nothing outstanding. Great food for the price in this area.

Sheila L.

Yelp
We were so excited to eat here while staying at the resort. We decided to do dinner & were a little disappointed. The restaurant is doing a great job adhering to the COVID restrictions by turning the the buffet into chef stations. But we were disappointed that the food was not great. The Mac and cheese was crunchy & the salmon was dry and way over cooked. Most of the food was barely warm like it had been sitting for a while. The bright spot of the food was the prime rib! It was the freshest item we had! The dessert was also tasty but the portion was tiny! The price of eating here for dinner & the food quality did not align. Service was also painfully slow and our server had tables in 3 different rooms. Maybe we will try this place again post Covid when things return to normal ---------------------------------------------------- PART 2: Yelp would not let me do a separate breakfast review: Breakfast was wonderful! 5 stars for breakfast! Everything was fresh & hot! Our server was great & very attentive! We started with the omelet & the chef making the omelet was so friendly & we enjoyed talking to him about Sevierville while we waited on our omelet! We shared the biscuits & Gravy and French toast which were great as well! We will return for breakfast! (But prob not for dinner anytime soon).

Allie M.

Yelp
We tried both breakfast and dinner buffet. Restaurant itself has beautiful decor and the staff were all so attentive and friendly. The food was just ok. For breakfast, the highlight was the omelet station and potato hash. The coffee was burnt and my husband said the biscuits and gravy were a little bland. For dinner, the best part was the grits station...do not skip this! Rest of the options were hit or miss, food temperature leaned towards lukewarm, the trout was dried out but the prime rib was excellent. Tried Sawyers for breakfast and Old Mill for dinner on different days and we both agreed that these were our preferred meals over S&H.

Carol S.

Yelp
Excellent food and environment. The brunch on Sunday is amazing and over the top well done.

Danise S.

Yelp
I was going to go again next week. But when I checked the price, I was astonished to find that they raised the price from $26 to $40 in just a few months. I understand they have to raise the price somehow. But more than 50%? That is outrageous. So no, I am not going again.

Scott M.

Yelp
I had celebrated New Year's Eve this past January at Dollywood's DreamMore Song and Hearth Restaurant and it was a mouthful, both in regards to the name and the food. Song and Hearth offered a dinner buffet that evening and it turned out to be a good choice for my date and I as she is a vegetarian and most dinner places here in the Smokies are BBQ joints or steakhouses with very limited vegetarian options. Dinner included the all-you-can-eat buffet, table service for drinks, and live music. Along with dinner we were invited to DreamMore's family friendly New Year's Eve party which was fun and offered some additional snacks, crafts, and entertainment. For improvement, I would say that the check-in process for dinner was a little disorganized and that there were a lot of semi-confused patrons that weren't exactly sure how the procedure should go. A tip for those attending next year, I would say check-in at the restaurant early and then head upstairs and enjoy the festivities at the party for a bit before bum-rushing the buffet all at once. There's plenty of food! Additionally, the guests seemed to be a bit all over the place in regards to what the atmosphere of Song and Hearth should be. Some dressed fairly formal, as it was New Year's Eve, and others showed up with their kids in their pajamas and let them run loose throughout the restaurant. Probably business casual is the proper compromise... And lastly, stop letting Dolly name everything: Dollywood's DreamMore Resort Song and Hearth Restaurant is in danger of becoming a run-on sentence and rivals other venues in her pantheon, like Dollywood's Chasing Rainbows The Dolly Parton Story Museum at Dollywood Amusement Park.

Desiree A.

Yelp
As with everything I've encountered at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort, the buffet was exceptional (and I've been to a lot of buffets!) I honestly didn't have high expectations regarding the food as my co-worker/friend and I happened upon the buffet approximately 30 minutes until they closed. From past buffet experience, coming this close to a restaurant's close time, usually means overheated food with a gelatinous film over the top layer. I was happily surprised to find the food at Song & Hearth appropriately hot with staff still bringing out fresh items. The food tasted homemade and full of Southern charm and goodness...oh, and butter - delicious butter! My favorite food items were the fluffy and rich biscuits as well as the fried chicken. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the fried chicken was truly the best I've ever tasted. However, I would caution you to save room for dessert! As much as I wanted to keep eating the savory dishes, the dessert (which had a buffet of its own really) tasted as good (if not better) than it looked. Sweet, but not overly so and happiness gushed out with each bite...excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face - this review is bringing back good food memories. Set in a cute, down home country cabin-like environment, Song & Hearth also provided a cozy place to enjoy the delectable savory and sweet food items. Our server was friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I'll go out of my way to eat here again if I find my way back to the state of Tennessee.

Yelp
The setting is amazing if you are into this stuff! They serve buffet breakfast only until 11am; Then you can have lunch off of menu and pay per item; The buffet dinner starts at 5 pm There is also a coffee shop Resort also offers a shuttle to the parks, highly recommend that as the traffic backs back for two miles easily!

Yelp
Great place! Thank you Dolly and staff!!!! This place is very clean. Staff were very friendly. My son loved the playground, s'mores and story time. Pool was a great option of all else fail. They made it easy to Jane options for kids and adults. I can't wait tiltill the water park opens.

Yelp
After our day at Dollywood we decided to come have a buffet dinner at dream more resort. Eric says that the salmon was a little dry I thought all of the food was very fresh and tasty since we showed up right at opening time 5:00 p.m.. The desserts were very good there was bread pudding and peach cobbler in huge cast iron skillets still bubbling under the hot lamp. There were fresh donuts on a peg board along with raspberry and chocolate dipping sauces. All the employees were very nice and attentive. I am glad that we made it a point to come to dream more resort to try their hearth and song buffet. The resort is very beautiful and a nice touch was a free glass of Dolly's pink lemonade.

Yelp
Came here for family Thanksgiving feast, 13 people, delicious buffet with everything from cheese and crackers to shrimp and crab claws, to the full thanksgiving meal with all the fixings! Plus a mouth watering desert selection from chocolate fountain to pies and fresh apple cider donuts! Great drink menu and specials for the holiday! Would definitely return with family again in the future! Waitress Tammy was delightful and funny!!!

Yelp
Our best meal of the vacation. Worth every penny we paid. There was no part of our meal that was lacking. The brussel sprouts with bacon were some of the best I've ever had. The fried chicken was brined in something, thought I tasted sweet tea, it was awesome. The steak tips were the very best I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were also the best I've ever had. The cannolis were excellent. The apple cobbler was flawless. All of the desserts were very good. If you have a gold Dollywood pass you get a 20% discount.

Yelp
The buffet is small with limited selection. Now sure if it's always that way, or because of COVID. but he price given the buffet, was reasonable. It's nice to not leave the hotel. The apple galette, add scoop of ice cream, is great. If there is prime roast for dinner, get it. All in all, delicious food without leaving the hotel. FYI, the lounge food is out of this kitchen and is great! Be sure to get the Buffalo wings! Yummy!

Yelp
I heard about this restaurant after I saw it featured in one of my favorite Youtube channels. I've never been to Dollywood before so I wanted to make sure that I get a full experience of her park and her restaurant. We weren't staying at the resort so I wanted to make sure that I made a reservation in advance for our experience. Driving up to the resort was just beautiful! It has such a comfortable Southern feel to it and you can't miss the rocking chairs that are practically at ever corner! When you enter the main lobby, the restaurant is down the stairs and to the left. Once you pass the bar, the hostess stand is right before you enter the restaurant. We made it just in time for our reservation that evening and was sat right away. Our server took a little while to get to our table but afterwards she was on it making sure we were good and our drinks were full. Now for the food...it is an all-you-can buffet with your Southern-type choices. I love Southern foods so I was really excited! The buffet isn't large but their food quality and choices really hit the spot! They had foods such as - salads, corn, rice, salmon, fried chicken, prime rib, beef, pizza, and a nice assortment of desserts and a donut wall! And I have to say that the sweet tea is a must! One of my favorites on the menu that evening was definitely the salmon. I went back for seconds! Even though the buffet isn't large, what you get for the price was definitely worth it! Not to mention, the coffee was really good, too. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. It will give you a sense of comfort and fully take you away from that the touristy feel.

Yelp
This is a buffet- and I didn't know that when I made the reservations. The food was excellent and the wine selection was great. There were a lot of kids and the place was packed-- but it is a family restaurant. I'm not typically a fan of buffets, but this one was well done with really great southern comfort food. I wish the food were served from a menu. The tour of Dolly's memorabilia was a great way to cap the evening!

Yelp
Our family went for the Sunday brunch and we were very disappointed overall. I know with a buffet your food isn't cooked immediately before you eat it but I would still expect it to be hot. Pretty much everything was very cold with the exception of the make to order omelette and fried chicken which i happened to catch being refilled. The biscuits were rock hard and I was shocked I didn't chip a tooth biting into it. The donuts were very dry. Our server was nice and was very apologetic and I felt bad everyone was complaining to him about the food. This wasn't an inexpensive meal and we for sure could have gotten better at many other places in the area.

Yelp
Buffet with something for young and old. Carving station, table side salad, lots of vegetable choices, gluten free desserts. Our server Tammy provided exceptional service! New Christmas tradition. Reservations recommended.

Yelp
We ate at Song & Hearth several times with mixed experiences. The first night we ate there we ordered a bottle of wine when we first sat down and it arrived when we were finished with our desserts. The food was very good, though. The second night we ate there we knew better and didn't order any wine and the food wasn't very good. We ate at the lounge a few times and it was always good, but if you want take-out the food is more expensive and they add an additional fee which isn't stated anywhere. The lounge is also the only place to get alcoholic beverages in the entire resort which means they are always swamped!!! The restaurant is very beautiful. The tables and chairs are all different which adds an eclectic look.

Yelp
This fantastic restaurant on the first floor of the Dollywood DreamMore Resort is a buffet for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is a short window in midmorning to early afternoon. We enjoyed the $15 breakfast buffet (includes a drink) on our anniversary.

Yelp
This is a gem to visit. We came here for dinner one night and it was well worth it. The restaurant is a buffet style with waiter service for drinks. They had a nice selection of country foods that would rival any southern home on Sunday after church. The food was hot and tasted great and the best part you can get as much as you want. Times like this I wish I hadn't had stomach surgery so I could over indulge on this great home cooking. Many of the dishes reminded me of my childhood growing up in a small town in Texas. They had nothing but comfort foods that took me back to those childhood days.

Yelp
Rachel is the sweetest, most accommodating server and she brought 2 chefs (Jean and Cameron)out to make our dinner beyond divine. This restaurant is so magnificent and offers the best food in the area. We were surrounded by kindness and this is what we loved--the stone soup, short ribs, the squash, potatoes, gluten free and dairy free options, the salad and Rachel. I have very higher standards and am a pampered princess!
