Food was slightly above average. But was near our place of stay, so went there twice. Service was great with the male owner but not really excellent with the older grandma. Overall, a good place to have gamjatang. Did not have any other.

An average meal… Big restaurant with several levels.
Octopus was the best dish with spicy savory sauce.
Bossam had smelly pork taste.
Pork stew was average for me as I didn’t like the taste of the vegetables added.

The pork set meal for 3 was so good. 57k Wan for 3 was cheap. With octopus, sliced pork, hot pot, and a big plate of kimchi. Great for pax of friends to visit.

We went at around 8pm. The place was crowded but we managed to get a seat immediately.
Ordered a medium Pork bone stew/soup and Bulgogi for 2 pax and the amount is just right to share among 4 pax.
The pork bone is soft and tender but the soup is a let down. Bulgogi is a better choice. Somehow I felt that the staff ignored us despite raising our hand and calling a few time to refill the soup in the bulgogi pan. When the staff responded, they wanna pour the soup in the charred pan and we stopped them and asked to change pan instead.

Should have listened to the average reviews. If you’re coming for gamjatang or bossam, don’t. The taste of both were honestly below average, and the gamjatang (for 2) only had one piece of potato. The octopus was good. It’s very popular probably because they’re doing a good job marketing. I noticed the korean customers all ordered other thing and not gamjatang. The upside is the set for 2 was very filling, and you can help yourself to as many ssam vege wraps as possible. But yeah, the flavour just wasn’t there. Wouldn’t come back.

Best Pork Bossam ever!
No wonder people are queuing up for miles to eat it past all day long. Ended up visiting twice in one week.
Clean and healthy eating!

Good place to get your gamja-tang (pork back-bone stew with potatoes), free-flow bar for sides and veggies. Taste authentic. They serve bossam too and is 24/7.
