Songbird Parlour

Songbird Parlour is a great dining option if you’re in Sonoma Valley. We went as a large group of 8 and it was great being able to make the reservation online. We did the chef’s tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our favorites were the braised pork belly and trout. Would gladly return and highly recommend!

Fried chicken Sunday… crispy, juicy, yummy! Lamb shank wonderful also. The service was ABOVE AND BEYOND. On a very cold night, they offered me a blanket as we were sitting near the ADA door and several clients with walkers used that entrance and took a while to get through the door. The hostess later apologized for seating us there… We’re in our 70s and we will all be in that position someday- the point is they tried to make it better for us.

Songbird Parlour is quintessential Wine Country. The space is beautiful and artful, the service superb, and the menu both thoughtful and impeccably executed. Living and dining in Napa, it’s easy to become a little jaded—but Songbird is the kind of place that reminds you why this region is famous for its cuisine. Everything feels intentional and beautifully done. We had one of the best meals we’ve had in quite a while: a seasonal salad with olives, a beet salad, the duck, ricotta gnudi, and we finished with chocolate gâteau and French press coffee. Every dish was memorable. Five stars.

We had an amazing dinner last night at Songbird Parlour. We opted for the Chef's tasting menu and we were extremely pleased by our decision. The food was artfully prepared. The staff was extremely attentive and kind. Overall a wonderful night.

Came here during restaurant week. Very nice offerings for a 3 course meal for $60. The duck main was delish and huge. A welcome change given many restaurants give smaller portions for the smaller price. I opted for the à la carte menu and got the Thai curry scallops. A bit spicy but delish. The service from the time we walked in was over the top. The noise was a little much making it a bit challenging to talk. Overall thumbs up.

My new favorite restaurant- if only we didn't live 1.5 hours away I would be there as often as I could! Everything was excellent- locally sourced, creative, and flavorful food. I had a lamb shank with creamy cheesy grits - I never eat grits, but would happily eat these every day. The lamb was so tender and delicious. Desserts were off the charts good. The wine is really well curated from local vineyards. The atmosphere was very cool and creative. The staff were excellent. Highly recommend.

We came for a Wine and Dine dinner with Idle Cellars and loved the entire experience. The food was great. Everything tasted fresh and summery. The peach vinaigrette and preserved lemon salsa verde were execellent touches that really distinguished the salad and steak from other places. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful but still gives off a very comfortable vibe. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing new restaurant! We came in for a birthday, table of five, and were blown away by the service and food quality. All the dishes were awesome but favorites included the beef tartare (made with filet mignon!), the filet mignon and the duck! To top off the meal we were surprised with celebratory ice cream and the most delicious warm chocolate chip cookies. Kenny and his team have created a little haven in Glen Ellen!

I have dined at Songbird 4 or 5 times now and have NEVER had a less than amazing dinner. I've had most of the menu and everything is something I'd order again. I LOVE that they have a few "staples" but change ingredients for those as the seasons and availability change. Halibut Crudo Pork Belly Beet Salad Beef Tartare Gnudi Pork Chop Chicken Desserts.....ALL FANTASTIC!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (it's my new favorite restaurant)

Jam in Glenn Allen Had multiple dished and delicious Sweet and sour sauce on the fried chicken a bit overwhelming. Very good service Ambience is nice and elegant I will just change the light from white to yellow better for ceiling and wall contrast! Very good surprise and definitly I will recommend! 5/5

Celebrating a magical birthday evening at Songbird Parlour in Jack London Village From the moment we stepped through the doors, we felt transported into the rich history of Sonoma Valley, with its charming Victorian-inspired decor and velvet sofas that beckoned for cozy conversations. The ambiance perfectly balanced elegance the farm-fresh warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere that felt both timeless and intimate. From sparkling rosé to decadent desserts, every moment was a toast to the bounty of Sonoma County. A huge thank you to Kenneth for the warm hospitality, welcoming charm, and for his attention to every detail--and to Tyler for his excellent customer service. Cheers to good food, great company, and memories that serenade the soul!

The service was wonderful, friendly and seem less. The design and layout of the restaurant was rustic chic with a hip and comfortable vibe. The food was DELICIOUS!! They brought home made Olive Bread in rosemary and olive oil to tide us over, it's like crack! We ordered an extra one to go for the road. We ordered the Thai green curry clams which were delicious, the Kampachi crudo, the orange braised pork belly, the Hand Rolled ricotta and lemon gnudi, and the Filet Mignon Pomme purée... all the flavors were bold and delicious! Our stand out favorite was the Filet, Ricotta and Thai green curry clams. This place is a hidden gem and a standout in Sonoma dining. Treat yourself! We will be back here every time we visit... get there fast before it becomes impossible to get in.

Great serve, beautiful location and the food is amazing. We love the Fried Chicken on Sunday's. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal at Songbird Parlor.

Entering the establishment, there was a great ambience. Very romantic, dimly lit and intimate setting. The hostess was helping a customer when we arrived quickly after was extremely welcoming and showed us to our table. Our server was helpful and knew the menu very well, he explained to us the menu and helped us make selections based on our preferences. We asked for a cocktail menu but our waiter informed us that they currently do not have cocktails, they recently opened up in November so they were working on getting the license. But they have a great selection of local wine and a few beers on tap. Starting with the appetizers, we had the beef tartar and the pork belly. Both were delicious. If I had to choose one I would go with the beef tartar, although my fiancé would go with the pork belly, both excellent choices. For our entrées, my lady ordered the pork chop, which came with a delicious sweet sauce and grits. After I took a bite, I could taste bacon maple along with the grits, which made it a great balance. I ordered the filet mignon also an excellent choice cook that cooked at a medium rare, which came out at the exact temperature. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and smooth in the sauce was excellent. The filet mignon had a great seared crust. At the end of our meal I was surprised with a birthday candle and a scoop of ice cream which was delicious! All in all the great experience and would recommend to all friends and family. We will definitely be coming back for special occasions.

Our table shared a variety of food. And we enjoyed most. Highlights include: crudo, green curry was top notch, salmon was very unique and a welcome change from standard salmon preparation, and short rib had good flavor. Some low lights: pork belly had beautiful presentation but was barely look warm and soft and fatty. I've tried a lot of pork belly as it's become a common item on menus over last 10 years but it's tough to do well. The duck was tough and over cooked but the flavor was nice. Dessert was good but nothing exceptional. Ambiance was nice. Food service was good.

Ambiance? Let's just say the experience begins with a picturesque stroll across a footbridge over a stream so tranquil, it almost convinced me I'd wandered into a luxury retreat. Then, the long entrance hallway adorned with historic black-and-white photos (cue Jack London nostalgia) reminds you that you're about to step into something timeless. The owner greeted us warmly and led us to our seats, where we had front-row tickets to the kitchen wizards performing their culinary spells. The dining room itself? A 30-foot wood ceiling that does an excellent job of keeping noise at bay. It's the rare restaurant where people with hearing challenges can actually chat without leaning in like they're about to propose. Our server Tyler, a young man with charm and enthusiasm to spare, walked us through the menu with the kind of attention to detail that makes you forget there's even a menu at all. One of our friends brought a lovely 2018 Three Sticks Pinot (corkage $40), though I didn't partake because my Dry January had me counting down like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. Ten days to go, not that I'm keeping track. The menu itself reads like a love letter to local farms. Highlights from our table included smoked and pickled beets with Grazin' Girl gorgonzola and crispy onion, fried potatoes and leeks with Seven Moon Farms tomato aioli, and Pacific halibut crudo with Flatbed Farm makrut lime granita. Then came the duck leg confit paired with a beluga lentil cassoulet that honestly deserves a round of applause. If you're not salivating by now, stick to frozen pizza and Netflix you're not ready for this level of dining. All in all, the experience was worth every step across that charming footbridge. Whether you're a foodie or just someone who appreciates a meal where every detail is thoughtfully curated, this place delivers.

The Best Meal of our Trip to Sonoma. We dined here during a recent trip to Kenwood. It was dark when we arrived at the complex where the restaurant is located and took us a few minutes of wandering to actually find the entrance. The restaurant is lovely with small tea candles on each table. We started with the sunray salad and belfiore burrata. Both were excellent. Our entrees were the filet mignon and the braised lamb shank. Both were perfect. I cannot remember the dessert that I had, but I know it involved a decadent chocolate. We had wine by the glass and coffee to end. Our server was initially very attentive, but then as the evening went on and the restaurant got busier, he kind of disappeared. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Cost per person with tax and tip was about $120, but worth it.

Wow! I want my review of this stellar establishment to do it justice and all I can muster up is wow! It has been a minute since I've been dazzled and wowed by a restaurant. From the service all the way to the dessert, this place was top notch. You can tell that it is a well crafted, well thought out place and that a lot of pride goes into what they do. My favs of the night were the pork belly with figs and the halibut crudo. I don't want to go back, I want to move in. Do yourself a favor and get yourself over to Songbird Parlour. One day you might not be able to get a table without an advanced reservation. It's that good.

We had our micro wedding of 40 people at Songbird and we can't stay enough positive things about it. From the time we saw the venue, we KNEW it would be the perfect place for our wedding. So gorgeous inside, amazing decor, and an outdoor space which allows for a true wedding ceremony. its truly one of a kind. From start to finish, the entire team was exceptional during the planning process. Brandy, in particular, went above and beyond -- she was incredibly helpful, communicative, and detail-oriented, which made everything feel seamless and as if they had all of the details handled. And the food... next level. We received so many compliments from our guests -- many even said it was the best wedding food they've ever had (we agree!). Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service the night of the wedding was also outstanding. The staff was warm, attentive, and constantly checking in with guests to make sure drinks were full and everyone was comfortable. It really made the whole evening feel effortless and special, and allowed for us to relax as a couple and focus on our guests. We're so grateful we chose this venue -- it exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a place that's not only gorgeous but also backed by an incredible team, look no further!

Ambiance and service all top notch! Had the chefs menu - where you're served two apps and two mains (if I remember correctly) completely blind. The chef did a great job with the first two - the amuse bouche was amazing and the salad was divine. Also loved the potato wedges and the sauce around it. The mains (salmon and then a seared beef) were so so, definitely tasty just not mind blowing. Wines and non alcoholic mocktail were all great pairings with the meal. Desserts were great (cookies and the chocolate cake). Overall, glad we came and recommend it if you're in the area and looking for an eclectic experience.

Finally made it here (for a *very significant milestone birthday). We could not be more thrilled with our entire experience from greeting to "see you and your impeccable cuisine not soon enough"... Greeted and sat by the owner Lauren, and tended to by the most exceptional server we have had in memory. Nobody was imbibing (thanks BottleRock- Lol)... but I have been fond of Lauren's personal brand kombucha for awhile now and had a glass (sharing with my family of course to promote booze free tasty alternatives). Our starters were the iron skillet focaccia (had to save some for what I knew would be my saucy gnudi entree); the roasted/pickled beet salad exceeded the enticing description; and the Pacific halibut crudo, avocado, kumquat, blood orange granita was the gentlemen's favorite; the salmon was the most incredible piece of fish we've had in front of us on record; the duck confit drew in my husband who only "...planned on having a salad"- yeah right, Honey -LOL! The only regret was not getting here sooner (sorry cliche)- but this perfectly punctuated the visit with my son to celebrate me that will be a lasting core memory. The ambiance was most refreshing (who doesn't love such high ceilings?)! cookies: excellent; Gâteau chocolat coffee ganache cocoa streusel caramel: mind blown (I usually opt for fruity creations) this masterpiece : home run for all of us. And the sweet scoops ice cream with olive oil and honey (and a candle for my HBD wish- a much appreciated gesture since it was my only candle wish opportunity)... cheers to another twirl around the sun!

Finally had a chance to dine at Songbird Parlour and although it was just any Wednesday night, within 10 minutes it felt like a special occasion. The decor and service had us at hello, and then the food!! Chef Eric Moulton's attention to detail and layering of flavors made every bite worthwhile. In particular, the filet mignon was perfectly cooked inside and out with a crispyish crust? Didn't even know that was possible. On top of that my daughter floated between the cozy couch nook in the corner and our table, have never felt so at home at a "fancy" restaurant. That said is all reasonably priced and worth every dollar. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking to share the magic of the Jack London Village with someone who's earned it.

Really awesome experience. Love the decor and layout and general hip vibe of the place. Chef Eric is fantastic and executing perfectly on some classic dishes like duck confit. I think the best duck I've ever had. Everything is fresh, local, and delicious. And for the quality of food here, the prices are very reasonable. A++++

Delicious addition to Sonoma Valleys incredible fine dining scene . The uniqueness of this particular restaurant is that everything is farm to table. All hyper local ingredients and local wines . Female owned and you can tell by the warm atmosphere in this cool historic building. Great portions and the prices are in line with all the other expensive restaurants around. We went here for our xmas dinner when my son and gf were visiting and we spent $400 for 4, with 3 glasses of wine and 1 bottle . 3 apps and 4 entrees, 2 deserts and a large french presse . The price was what we were expecting , the food and service were better than other places in sonoma valley by far , so i would absolutely recommend, for tourists and locals alike.

We are locals and just recently heard about this place, and when we went to the website and looked over the menu, we knew we had to go try it out right away. I called to ask some questions but it was before they opened so no one answered, but I ended up getting a call back when they did open which is rare, and appreciated. Wonderful atmosphere, great service, and excellent food. Filet was wonderful, pork belly was great, and the desserts were very impressive. Make sure to get the cookies! Excited to come back and try more from their menu, it all sounds good.

We are part time Glen Ellen residents and we always make it a point to visit our fave restaurants when we are in the area. Songbird is always on the list! It is one of the lovely standouts that Sonoma is getting known for. The food is fresh, presented well and delicious! Not to mention, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The ambiance is beautiful, yet accessible and comfortable. BUT!!! You must also try the Sundays only fried chicken dinner with the homemade focaccia bread. It is such a perfect Asian fusion of crispy, pepper and sweet. Yummm! Can't wait to go back for more!

I have to say this was one of the best meals I have ever had!! The ambiance was perfection! The staff was amazing! We had just been stuck in airports and travelling all day to get to California and wanted GOOD food. I was hesitant if we would be allowed to eat here as we were travelling with 2 tired kids aged 3 and 5 (ticking timebombs).. Everything was perfect! The 5 year old LOVED the salmon and the 3 year went to town on the pork chop! It was everything we needed and everyone was so kind to us! Being that the airlines left us with only one night in Glen Ellen, we made the most of it and so glad we got to experience this restaurant!! We will be back!! The cookies were also stellar and a perfect dessert for the family :)

We had the Hot Honey Fried Chicken dinner for $32. This was extremely disappointing. The bread was not focaccia. Further, it had jam on it??? The chicken crust had no heat & was a tiny portion. The salad was several pieces of lettuce. Very nice light tasty dressing but that was pretty much it. This experience did not inspire a return.

Amazing service. The beef tartar was out of this world! The ambiance is amazing. We had Tyler as our server, he was very knowledgeable about the menu and steered us in the right directions.

What a beautiful event space! I went to their "Epic Fried Chicken night" and it was fantastic!! I am salivating still thinking about. Staff were so friendly! Big round marble tables to accommodate a big group - we had 7 in our party and everyone was comfortable. You choose between 3 different types of fried chicken for $20 and includes a side. Side choices were: Charred corn, cilantro, cotija cheese, pickled chili, crema, corn pudding Stone fruit panzanella, basil bud vinegar, basil pesto, local greens Semi-dried Early Girl tomatoes, squash blossom saffron sauce, lovage oil Fried padron peppers, lime, homemade paprika and flowering mint. I had the Vietnamese style - (Fish sauce, honey, tender herbs, toasted rice powder), absolutely to die for!!! They also had Lemon Pepper with( Japanese sansho, lemon zest , long pepper, scallion powder) Hot Honey (Housemade vadouvan, crispy shallots, aromatics and spices, brown butter, chili and local honey). I also ordered their Charred scallion focaccia with fermented chili butter. Everything was delicious! Go to their website and RSVP for their next event!

Really delicious food. Fish was cooked perfectly, and an excellent wine list. Definitely try the gnudi! They were very busy when we arrived and as a new restaurant, I think they're still getting their service worked out, but we'll definitely be back.

For many years, we had been great fans of Olive and Vine. It was our "go to" restaurant and so we were so disappointed when it closed. We were excited to read about Songbird Parlour and anxious to try it. It did NOT disappoint! Everything was A+...ambiance, service, wine list and , of course, the menu. Loved the fact that the "Farm to Fork" concept drives the menu offerings. We had a great experience and will be back soon!

Amazing food, amazing ambience and amazing service. This is the new best restaurant in Glen Ellen. Run, don't walk, to eat here.

My husband and I dined at Songbird Parlor for the farmer-to-table dinner series last week. The dinner included a three part wine tasting during the appetizer courses, featuring Sonoma's own Cassidy Ranch wines. (The wines were all delicious and I favored the refreshing Rose with light strawberry notes. This family-owned winery and flower grower is in its 3rd year of production.). We highly recommend trying out this new gem! (We just hope it does not get so popular that we can't get a reservation.). But fair is fair, so hence this review. Everything from the fried farm potatoes and leeks, the blistered (with garlic) Shishido peppers, the head-on Thai prawn, ricotta and arugula gnudi, duck confit on bed of beluga/lentil cassoulet with pear mostarda, and finally, a bourbon butter chocolate cookie--all perfectly prepared and seasoned/dressed. Plus all lovingly presented. Chef made the rounds to explain some dishes and service was spot on. The only dish that was just OK was the starting salad whereby the vinaigrette was too aggressive for my taste. (I eat a lot of salad.) I don't usually leave reviews, but I thought the performance from two newish businesses deserved a shout out.

Songbird Parlour is an absolutely stunning place to host an event! We toured in the fall and fell in love with the indoor & outdoor areas and the incredible staff.
