SONO Calm Yeosu

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at in South Korea. Delicious breakfast. Lots of amenities. Beautiful room. Kind staff. A must stay place.

The rooms felt somewhat outdated but were clean and comfortable. Parking was ample, the food was decent, and the staff were friendly. However, I found it quite surprising that the lounge beer was completely out of stock. It’s not something that needs to be made on-site—if it’s a pre-packaged product and there’s no inventory, shouldn’t there at least be some compensation, or perhaps it shouldn’t be offered at all? Also, the hallways and lounge were not air-conditioned at all. Despite repeatedly requesting cooling, the hallways were never improved, so I ended up leaving feedback on the card. With the current heatwave coverage in the news, it made me think of workers who might be exposed to these conditions daily. While we only stay briefly, the staff working in that environment every day must experience even greater discomfort.

Great sky lounge and facilities (loved the sauna) Points to enhance: - The cleaning of the room was quite bad compared to the previous 3 stars hotel we stayed the night before - The pricing of the breakfast (90K for a 180K room for 2 people is just insane) - The English level for the concierge

Great service, extremely clean room with great view of the ocean. Concierge and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Good location and easy access to visit other attractions. I highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

Great location on the waterfront! Easy to walk to the island and the cable car, as both are right there. Lots of restaurants are close by, and a GS25 quick stop in the hotel. We have stayed many times at other Sono hotels. This was our most expensive stay and uncertain why so expensive. The family suite was okay but not renovated since the hotel was built (or at least it looks that way) The cleaning isn't very good, and everything in the hotel is overpriced.

Amazing place - where the sea breeze- bringing vibrant coastal charm and lively atmosphere!

Hotel has a nice view and location is really great, you can easily access to the aquarium, cable car and Odong-do etc. Room was clean and well tidy, you can see the see and sunset in the room which is very nice. Their happy hour at the lounge was a bit poor compared to the other 5 star hotels in Korea. I don’t really recommend to stay an executive room for the lounge not really worth it. Their fitness center and sauna was nice though.
