With a few tweaks, This place has the potential to be great. Staff may be one of their biggest downfalls. First, no one speaks when you walk in the door. I wasn't sure if I could just sit anywhere, or if I had to order first then choose a table. I went to the bar/counter and just sat down because it felt safe. Throughout my meal I noticed other people walking thru the front door experiencing the same thing; no one speaking, looking confused, & being unsure of where to go and what to do.
Food was good. What I wanted they were out of, so I went with a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwhich with a side of corned beef hash. The sanwhich had a very comforting corner store feel. Corner stores & delis typically make the best bacon egg cheese sanwhiches. The hash was fresh and had the crunchy pieces that I like to give it texture and that homey feeling.
Customer service wasn't bad, until your thirsty and your server isn't paying any attention to see you're out of juice. Lol. They have free parking on the side and behind the building. I asked about the parking and was told that I had to put my license plate # in an i-pad, which I never saw. I didn't know, so My server did it for me.
That's when I realized the slight issue... They treat everyone as if they had been there several times before. It's a slight cockiness, like we don't have to earn your loyalty and trust, you should already be a fan." OnceI recieved the check, like that was the end of my service. I just left the money on the bar. Didn't get a thank you, have a nice day, good bye, a smile or anything from my server or any other employees, so as I was walking out, I thought about it, tuned around and went back to retrieve some of the excess tip money. Felt like just another number and totally Unappreciated...
Return: Maybe if I'm walking around or at an event in the area, but intentionally? Probably not
