I bought a linseed, soy and sesame seeds bread loaf and it's delicious! I'm from Germany and you know we love a good bread. And this one is so tasty! It's a bit pricey but I'm happy that I found this bakery. Whenever I am back in Sydney I'll come back.

I've always bought quiche lorraine (every Saturday and Sunday) but have noticed in the past month or so that the pastry casing is not flakey and melt in your mouth as it used to be but is actually a thick layer of flour and the sides are hard.

Had breakfast and takeaway lunch on different days. Got almond croissant, morning bun, and selection of sandwich (ham, cheese, toastie and one other forgot the name) but everything was delicious. The latte was great too (and this comment came from Melbournian)

Great bread, pastries, and coffee. Shop is very small, but they make it work. Make sure you get in before at least 1pm or else pretty much everything will be gone.

After a bad experience down the road I was glad I decided to come here. The staff were so friendly and instantly changed my mood. Croissant was amazing! Thanks to the girls today for making my day.

Have normally had a pretty good experience here, but there does seem to be staff turnover & this morning was terrible. So terrible I walked away without my coffee or food that I’d paid for as unsurprisingly in the morning I had to get to work. I ordered when no one was waiting inside or out & there was 3 people sitting, yet they did everything out of order and I’m standing there 10 mins watching them serve person after person without doing my order. When I raised it there was no acknowledgement of the delays and the attitude was clearly we’ll get too yours soon. Terrible, I’ll take my business across the road where they treat customers as something they value as a busienss.

Yelp
I was charmed from my very first visit to Sonoma. Upon entering the door and asking about the pastries I was asked "Are you from America?" when I replied "Yes, I'm from California" the immediate follow up was "Are you from Sonoma?" I wish I could have replied positively but sadly I do not share provenance with this amazing bakery. Here are the top two reasons why this place is so good. First off, let me say that I am truly addicted to their Morning Buns. It is the perfect cinnamon roll with a delightful hint of orange which just sets it apart from all else out there. Second, I have a high standard for sourdough and Sonoma meets it. When I lived in Singapore and could not find decent sourdough I took to making my own. Now here in Glebe I can relax because the Sonoma Polenta Sourdough is so amazing. Funny story, when walking around in Northern California near Sonoma we met up with a guy who did the artwork for this bakery. Small world right? Or maybe great bread just brings everyone together.
