"A discreet, embassy-like retreat offering self-serve coffee, soft round waffles, jam, and occasional porridge or buffet lunches in a warm, Scandinavian-inflected setting frequented by visiting Norwegians and pastors; the small café doubles as a cultural hub where guests readily share stories about the organization’s 150-year history and imported foodstuffs line the shelves." - Natan Dvir
Go there for the Sunday afternoon CONTRA DANCES. But, there is a problem for me. I'm hard of hearing, & I have a issue with the calling, its very hard for me to understand the instructions called by the caller, sound seems to get very understandable, confusing me as to what move to make? I've watched other dancers & they seem to have the same malady. Especially for new dancers. But, I'll still go anyway!

We had a blast at the Scandinavian dance. It is held on the 4th Saturday of the month. I love the music and the highly social people who come here to dance and will not let anyone sit out. There was great instruction before the dance. We knew nothing but were still able to fully participate. We will be back.

This is the Local Lodge of Sons of Norway .
It is a wonderful resource for people of Norwegian or Scandinavian heritage to learn about the history and culture of the people. From history, art, writings, recreation, food, politics, and crafts, outdoor activities and festivals.
Such an amazing resource to track you lineage, to leaning the local baking traditions.
So much to learn and enjoy here.
A true treasure for all Norse descendants.

Yelp
The sons of norway Lodge is full of comfort. To me you can see and feel all the love and warmth of the people and culture that these walls have seen. The most splendid events happen here with the greatest people. If you are a member you know how awesome this place is! If you aren't I recommend looking into it. This place is filled with grace. The location isn't perfect but hey, the architecture and history of this place is amazing. Will forever cherish this place.
