"Sunshine and Sails The Sony Center at the Potsdamer Platz has a "ceiling" that's a work of art. Walk inside this building on a sunny day, and you'll be greeted by a center flooded with warm sunshine—and reflections of the steel-and-textile ceiling on nearly every glass surface around you. There are several restaurants, a movie theater, and a Lego store here too. By Pauline Oo"

One of the have to visit places in Berlin. I would definitely recommend it by night the atmosphere and lights are amazing and make all the difference. You can come here to watch movies one sineStar imax or just chill in one the good Café or restaurant here. Very cozy and good for groups as well as couples. Just passing by is also worth it. Don't miss it of you are in Berlin 👌

A good community place and plethora of restaurants make this a happening place, especially during weekends. Presence of film theater Cine Star IMAX is a definite attraction. Atmosphere is calm and placid even though it is teeming with people from all walks of life. A small park nearby also serves as good sitout spot. Connectivity is pretty simple with most of the buses, trams and metro having stops over here. Overall a decent place to get around with friends and family.

The complex is very live. With two beer gardens , cafe and shops it is always busy. This time of year ie is Christmas ready and beautifully decorated. Best part is it is covered so sitting outside and enjoying a beer is possible even in cold days. Lovely place.

We passed by Sony Centre near Potsdamer Platz a couple times during our visit to Berlin (Dec 2016) and enjoyed spending time there. Sony Centre is a multiple floor complex with retail and service shops, business offices along with restaurants, bars and coffee shops. What makes a visit here unique is the architecture of the Sony Centre. The buildings are circular in layout with a large open centre space with a creative and attractively designed roof concept. The roof is an open format with what appear to be textile strips, branching from a centre axis. The textile strips reflect light giving white colour and the appearance of a partially enclosed roof. The design means that a fair amount of defused light makes its way into the open space at Sony Centre yet bright sun rays don't seem to pass down to the ground floor. We also very much enjoyed the rather elaborate Christmas scene that was on display in the Sony Centre. There were numerous trees arranged in a manner that it felt a bit like you were walking through a Xmas forrest. Hidden speakers and lit pathway along the trees added to the atmosphere. It was nice job by the Sony Centre team, something we still remember well about our visit there. In the end, we liked our time spent at Sony Centre. Had a decent meal at Lindenbrau bar and restaurant there and appreciated seeing the building design and Xmas decor. We'd happily pass by the Sony Centre again during future visits to Berlin.

Situated in one of the original “No Man's Land" sites of the Berlin Wall, this modern iconic complex sponsored by Sony has risen from the ashes. A vaulted roof made of glass & steel covers the central open area ringed by a mix of shops, restaurants, hotels, residential and office buildings. You can see a lot of effort has been made to link Berlin’s history with modernity, including retaining parts of the former Hotel Esplanade as an integral part of the architecture - pretty cool and unusual for Berlin. Apart from a lovely modern family-friendly area to chill in if you appreciate architecture, it's worth a visit.

One of the main shopping centers in Berline. There are several restaurants, retail, cinemas, atms integrated into this place. There is also a Sony store here, selling smart phones, home appliance, and other Sony products. We ate lunch where while we were in Berlin.

A beautiful place to visit and grab a cup of coffee. Not many places to shop here. Very calm and beautiful. You can visit the Sony store or the film and tv museum. There is an imax in the building also. A lot of food places in the building or nearby.

I didn't expect to find prices lower than in other shops.
