On the Grid : Sopa

"Just a stones-throw away from our offices, on the Carrer Roc Boronat, you’ll find Sopa. What we love about this place is how bright and airy it is thanks to its enormous windows and decoration. But the best thing has to be the amazing vegan and vegetarian meals it has on its varied menu that will cater to just about any taste (even non-vegetarians). Oh, and if you like Yoga they do that too!" - Little Buddha

Sopa Barcelona – 3 Stars I recently visited Sopa Barcelona, and while the experience had some highs, it also had a few areas that could be improved. Food: The menu features a variety of soups and healthy options, which are fresh and flavorful. The signature soups were quite tasty, but some could have used a bit more seasoning or depth in flavor. Atmosphere: The space is modern and cozy, with a nice vibe perfect for a quick meal. However, it felt a little cramped during peak hours, which detracted from the overall experience. Service: Staff were friendly and attentive, though there were a few moments of waiting for refills and the check, which took away from the overall flow. Price: Prices are reasonable, but given the portion sizes and the food quality, it didn't quite exceed my expectations. Overall, Sopa Barcelona is a solid spot for a quick, healthy meal, but it might need a little more consistency in terms of flavor and service to truly stand out. Would consider visiting again, but not a place I’d go out of my way for.

What to say about Sopa Barcelona? This restaurant is a breath of fresh air, as it brings nature inside and has healthy yet wholesome menu items. The sitting area, both inside and outside, are comfortable and plenty for nig and small groups. Coffee offerings are extensive, and alternate milk options are offered, as well as free water. The location is great, 2 blocks away from Rambla del Poblenou, and a few more from the Les Glòries Mall and the Diagonal Avenue. Additionally, it's at a pedestrian intersection that features a children's playground, a closed road on the right due to the school it shares a wall with, and an art museum across the street. The food is delicious and vegetarian, some items are vegan, and the staff is always nice. I highly recommend it!.

Enjoyed this afternoon snack today. I have now tried a few of their dishes! Delicious! They have a playground and a large terrace. Perfect for families with toddlers. Excellent vegan mango cake.

Problems can arise at any restaurant—it’s how the staff handles them that reveals the true character of a place. We had dinner at Sopa Barcelona on Saturday and experienced a slight delay due to a system issue. The manager personally came out to explain the situation with grace and professionalism, ensuring we were well taken care of from that moment on. It was impressive to see such respect and attention to customer experience. Oddly enough, the way they handled the issue made us even more eager to return. On top of that, the food was excellent—flavorful, fresh, and comforting. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, especially for families with small children. If you’re looking for a great vegetarian spot in Barcelona with friendly service and a welcoming vibe, Sopa is definitely worth a visit!

We had two soups (lentil and zucchini) and a vegetable quiche to share. Really liked the soups and quiche but wish they added a simple dressing to the side salad (olive oil and balsamic) because it was just leaves. We would have given 5 stars if the service was a bit faster because the people behind the counter seemed a bit disoriented with the influx of people. Maybe someone needs to be serving the food while the cashier just helps the customers to pay? Anyways willing to come back.

Good and healthy option for quick lunch if you work nearby. The food is good, nothing wow but good with lot of veggies. They always have 3 soups, 2 salads and 3 main dishes to choose from. They menu composed of 2 dishes plus water costs 11,90. They offer also breakfasts, cakes, tea, coffee etc.

Came here to have lunch and work, and I am totally happy. Food is nice and healthy. Gazpacho with watermelon is a discovery of the day 🫶🏻 Coffee isn’t nice, but it’s not a coffee place anyway.

Been here, a couple of times. I feel in their daily menu they have very similar kind of stuff, not a great variety every time. I go, I choose the daily menu, but this time I had to choose something different because it was almost same every day. Plus, I feel it’s not worth the money as I pay 15 for a menu.
