We really enjoyed our stay at Sophie's Hostel! The staff were really friendly and nice and the location was definitely walking distance from almost everything we wanted to see. We didn't have time to join in sadly, but they seem to run a lot of little events throughout the week which is really cool. Our room was also great, we had a private double room which was huge with a nice big bathroom. Everything was very clean as well When we stayed the lift was out of service, so we had to walk up a lot of stairs to get to our room. Not really an issue, but might be worth checking if you're bringing big bags or have mobility concerns.

Stayed in a 5 bed female room and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and an apartment style with a kitchen/dining area, bathroom, and then the bedroom. There was plenty of space and large lockable draws under the beds for belongings. If booking for a group and wanting to stay in the same room email or call them in advance as we originally had an issue with being placed apart, but management quickly resolved the issue.

Best usage of spaces (I was staying in a 5 beds dorm) and there's no bunk beds - miracle - also the dorm is like a little flat with its own kitchen and bathroom + an hallway. Quite nice, just some logistical adjustments could be nice: the lockers underneath the beds are extremely noisy + the shower is on the floor and even tho you can be very careful it's hard not to make a mess. Best hostel breakfast ever though and super nice staff

Sophie's Hostel is the best Hostel I've ever been to. The receptionists are always super lovely and if you've got a question, they always help you and make you feel very welcomed! We had a room for 3 people, the mattresses were super and we've all slept really well! We've had everything we needed in our room, the bathroom was also really good and we all felt very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this Hostel! The location is great as well, you got a Tram very closely to the Hostel but you can also reach the center of the city by foot easily!

Honestly, pretty miserable experience. Between the radiator sounding like the Little Drummer Boy all night, the front desk not accepting Czech currency, and the employees all moving like sloths on Zootopia, I cant recommend anyone stay here. Plus the shower head was broken, better spending your money on a place that will put in a little effort, with employees who have a sense of urgency.

Good vibes and comfortable stay! The hostel is located very close to the city centre. Nearest public transport stations are I.P. Pavlova and Štěpánská. Reception os open 24*7. If you are planning to rent a bed in one of the dorms here, better bring along a padlock and a towel. Although you have an option to rent these from the reception as well. Card payments and cash in CZK are accepted here. Cash in Euros is also accepted, but any kind of refund that you get from the reception will exclusively be in CZK. The hostel also offers buffet breakfast and brunch. I traveled solo and had a good stay overall.

Yelp
My friends and I recently stayed at this hostel in Prague, and I can say it was probably the best hostel experience I've ever had (and I've stayed in my fair share of hostels). My friends and I shared a 5-person "private apartment" - a large bedroom with 4 beds (1 double, 1 single, and a bunk bed); kitchen equipped with utensils, cookware, and an electric kettle; and bathroom with shower. The beds were basic but comfortable, and if you're up for it, you could cook your own meals in the kitchen (we did not). The room was pretty spacious; at the end of a long day of sight-seeing, you could lounge on one of the armchairs with a cup of tea if you liked. Towels and linens are provided free of charge in the apartments (I believe you need to rent towels in the other rooms). The staff all spoke English and were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Downstairs has a bar and lounge area; if you're so inclined, you could stay up until 3 am chatting with people hailing from anywhere from Ireland to Bangladesh over a Czech beer or a glass of wine. They do serve breakfast every morning until noon; I chose the "cold" breakfast - cereal, bread, fruit/vegs, and meats & cheese. The "hot" breakfast costs a little more and includes the above plus eggs, bacon/sausage, pancakes, or grilled veggies. During the rest of the day there is no cooked food, but they do have some pastries and chips available to snack on. The neighborhood is relatively quiet: it is about a half-hour walk to the old town, so you're well away from the tourist hustle & bustle. If you don't want to walk, the tram stop is just a couple blocks away, and you can buy tram tickets from the front desk. I highly recommend this hostel if you want a friendly, clean, inexpensive place to stay while in Prague.

Yelp
I stayed here 5 days and four nights. It had nice staff and pretty clean. Wasn't happy that there's only one toilet for 13 guys to share. The showers in it too so it makes it in use quite a bit. Also the WiFi upstairs kicks you off a lot and every few minutes I had to press it again. The breakfast isn't worth it. 150kc for bread, jam, deli meat, and cereal? This is Prague, you can get soooo much more anywhere else. Literally. And then 200kc for some eggs and sausages with it. It's not worth it. My keycard kept showing red. They said it was because it was near a phone, so I put it in my wallet, then it was because it was near coins, then other cards, and I had to exchange it probably 8-10 times before I left. Look it's nice but, there's a ton of more hostels for the same price that I'd consider.
