Sorcerer Coffee

Great little spot! Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying for one of their subs — both were spot on. The coffee was rich and smooth, not burnt like some chains, and the sub was freshly made with quality ingredients. Staff were friendly and the place had a chilled vibe, perfect for a quick lunch or just to relax. Definitely coming back!

Introduced sorcerer coffee to my parents as their first stop at Newcastle, and they loved this place! We had cappuccino, hot chocolate, lemon pie, and sandwiches - all amazing. Will definitely visit here soon!

This has quickly became my favourite place in Newcastle for coffee, and I've been to almost all of them - so much so that I come here multiple times a week and have slowly been bringing everyone I know here haha 😆 I almost don't want to write a review because it can already get pretty full but honestly this is the best coffee I've had, the staff here are friendly and the food here too is incredible.

I went recently for a Belly of the beast ‘Deli special’ sandwich which was amazing! Great service, friendly staff and great food.

Awesome filter coffee and cheese toastie. Crispy white toast with the perfect gooey cheese. Loved our visit to this coffee shop situated in the arches just behind the train station. Cool retro decor and great place to sit.

Under the arches of Central Station you’ll find my favourite coffee shop in Newcastle. Expect great coffee and lip-smacking scran made by the friendly staff. Music is always top notch and I love the decor. It’s clear a lot of thought and care has gone into Sorcerer. Added bonus of a sun trap when sitting out the front. Can’t beat it!

Love this little place. Gentle, welcoming atmosphere, top quality produce is what sets them apart. I always have the Long Black Decaf, which you’d never believe was decaf. And the Crack Pie is to die for. Love Sorcerer.

Robust and flavorful coffee. The sourdough toast from their breakfast menu was delightful, especially with the jam. Despite the time (3pm), they kindly offered breakfast options. The service was exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance with its cool decor made my experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot!
