The triple room is in the attic, so it traps heat. It was clean and very spacious, and they did have 4 fans up there, but it took until about 11pm for the room to cool down with the skylights open. I’m not sure how often Bern gets heat waves during the summer, but it makes for a very uncomfortable experience for that specific room.

Nice and modern hotel, spacious rooms, good breakfast included. The pillows are very very thin. The curtains arrive to the very edge of the window, not a cm more, so light filter through the entire frame of them.

Lovely hotel in a quiet residential area near to university. Good quality breakfast with lots of choices with food and drinks. 10-15 minutes walk from train station.

Stayed for 1 night. ||Nice place to stopover for us. We arrived at 1pm and there was a lady at reception. You can still self check in on the computer provided which was simple. |We stayed in the next building behind which was literally down a pathway. |When reception isn’t in/later in the day, you let yourself in with your key card on the main entrance and on the building entrance so very secure. ||A free Bern travel pass is included with the stay. They give you a code and you download the app which gives you information about the city. ||Room was a nice size and clean. Little kettle with tea and coffee, small tv, built in hair dryer and shampoo/body wash provided. ||Good location to the bus stop which was across the road and then 5min bus to the main train station. |However if you come by train with luggage, take the bus! Maps told me it was less than 10mins away so we thought we would walk. Big mistake. It’s up a hill, quite a steep hill. n ||Breakfast was nice with a good selection of hot and cold food; cereals, yoghurts, fruit and pastry. Juices, coffee machine, hot chocolate and Ovaltine!

Sorell Hotel Arabelle located in a very convenient place. The room is clean but the third bed is so thin that gives you back pains. The breakfast is excellent,"they are not stingy with food". The people who are working there are very friendly and helpful, the only inconvenience is that after four o'clock you are own your own. But again perhaps it is hotel regulations therefore when you are checked in, ask questions necessary so that you won't meet any difficulties. I love Bern, I love swimming in Aare and the people are quite friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay in Bern. Will come back next year.

The staff was very rude. But the worst—the reception desk has no one manning it after 4 pm until 7 am the next day. ( we did not know this when we booked it). They deactivated our room keys by mistake and it was hellish try to get new keys remotely. No staff on site is disqualifying in our opinion. We’ve never stay anywhere that didn’t have 24 hour staff. Do NOT recommend.

Great location, about 10 minutes walk from the terminal. Good options around, such as market and restaurants. Large room, with safe and closet. It has a TV, table and armchairs. Big bathroom and great shower. Breakfast served from 6:30 am, which helps a lot when we need to catch an early train. No minibar. Low lighting in the room. Low and small pillow.

This hotel is good. Thanks for the excellent service from Sherpa. She designed multiple ways to help you to check in successfully even if I arrived late by around 7:30pm. Initially I weer afraid that I could not enter into this hotel and could not check in when all staff were off after office hours. She was responsive when I pick up a phone in the lobby to call the service hotline. She is patient and smart. I am lucky I met with her resolving all of my issues. Thank you
