Sørlandet Feriesenter, camping og hytter i Risør

Nice camping with clean facilities. Camping has a little harbour where you can fish and rent a boat if you want. With the boat you can go to Risør. Big swimming pool, but it costs extra and is not included with your stay. You can also take a swim in the ocean. The only negative thing I can say is that the WIFI connection is very bad. Most of the time I didn’t have WiFi at all.

Overall a very enjoyable stay! Easy check in/out. Great and clean facilities (common toilets and showers) as well as a common kitchen that we didn't use. We did also not have time to use the heated pools even though they looked nice. The beach is not very exciting but similar to many beaches in Norway I suppose. The food offering is very bad and we had a bad experience visiting Havgløtt Kafe for dinner on a Sunday. We placed our order at 8:20 pm and were informed that the kitchen was closed and they didn't server food even though the information said they were open til 9 pm. A bit of a challange to arrange dinner in a remote place on a sunday at 8:20...

The facility is located 20 mins outside of Risør along a narrow road. ||Our cabin was a 3 room, which was pretty worn. The bathroom was probably from the 70s although well taken care of. All heating provided by wall mounted electric heaters in all rooms, the tiled floor in the living room felt pretty cold when the temperatures dropped in the afternoon. ||The outside of the cabin was not maintained properly, the terrace flooring had probably not been painted for some years and was both worn and started to rot. Weeds were growing in both the terrace and driveway. The outside of the cabin itself was also in need of a coat of paint. ||The kitchen had been upgraded recently and was nice, and the other facilities (pool, beach, restaurant) was also on the positive side, although you had to pay 60kr to use the pool even though we paid close to 2500kr per night for the cabin. This should have been free and felt cheap from the vacation centers side.

We stayed for two nights. It is a nice place for children with playground/swimming pools and a nice little beach. ||The food in the restaurant «Havgløtt» didn’t taste very nice, we had different types of pizza. The glasses we drank from also looked dirty in the bottom. The staff was pleasent though.||I don’t think the toilets/showers were clean enough, and some of the toilets smelled of urine. ||It was friendly staff there but all in all I wasn’t too impressed with the place.

Expensive place, each night more than double the price of other nice camping areas. And even if the rent is expensive many other things are additional cost. (Rent 🛶, mini golf, swimming pool, mini excavator, showers) and they have one slow charger for cars which are also expensive. 7.3kw/h and 180kr for 4 hours. Which equals to 6.2kr per kw which is more expensive than most high speed chargers. (At the time of writing this review) Most of god places are occupied by permanent campers. One part of the playground is other side of mainroad forcing kids to cross the road. Many of camping places are near main road which makes it a bit noisy.

We traveled as a family of four, and visited in camper van. We experienced excellent service (also after our stay), a great venue and a good variety of activities. Recommend renting a boat and taking a trip to Risør.

Nice appartment. Although it says three beds it is more for two. (Bunkbed)||Camping site is nice, with a private beach for swimming and a separate swimming pool. Small shop with essentials. We did not make use of the restaurant, so no review for that

We were in there with the whole family with 2 children + a dog,||Workers was very friendly, child friendly resort and very clean kitchen and bathrooms disinfectant fluids everywhere even on the playground. only electricity bollards was 1 for 6 users so you have to have a long cable, but you could buy a cable on the spot in the shop. Wifi was god.
